I mean, not only is it straight center of the earth heat but it also ties in so well with the rest of the movie. I take it as a song about embracing who you are in the face of something that refuses to let you, and to relate it to real life it isn't just a blind "be who you are" message; the pirates don't have that attitude until rainbow dash and the rest of the mane 6 stand up and declare that they're with them, which is just like reality, as it's incredibly difficult to be the first one to say out loud what everyone's thinking also that self-satire that preceded the song had me in my coffin 💀that was the funniest gag I've seen in all of mlp so far and that's saying a lot
