  • The winemaking history of the Oriol Rossell family dates back to 1497, where Pere Joan Rossell de la Costa appeared as the first winemaker in the saga. At Oriol Rossell, wines and cavas are produced at the estate. Their standards of quality are also linked to their commitment to using biodynamic methods. All O.R. vineyards are stamped with the 100% certificate and naturally rain fed. They allow naturally recurring plants to grown amongst the vines, green pruning, manual thinning of grapes and manual harvesting depending on the requirements of each product. In essence, a history of several centuries put into the sustainable production of excellent sparkling and still wines.
