Packraft review for Australia. My first impressions of a Chinese copy of the MRS Nomad

Bought this packraft direct from the Chinese manufacturer, Fuzhou Love inflatables, via Alibaba. A lot cheaper than the listed prices of packraft retailers such as MRS. This is a clone of the MRS Nomad and seems identical in features, quality, handling etc.

That 's a very nice settup you got there... Me, I'm new to this venture for about a month now... I got the Rapid Raft from Unchartered Co. Mind is not as rigged as yours, but, it fits my needs... It definitely opens a new world to explore out there... I'm hoping to 😮use mine in the deep Canadian Forests bogs someday...

Yeah I've optimised it as a kind of raft-kayak. It complements the inflatable kayak that Ive been using for the last 3 years but which weighs 17kg and is not portable except by car. The packraft allows me to get to places by bike or on foot. I'm sure you'll have some great touring on the lakes and rivers of the Canadian forests!

I ordered online from loveinflatables.com - there are many models in their catalogue. In m case customer service asked via email what specs I wanted want (length. width, material thickness/denier) and you can simply submit those for the MRS Nomad ...
