My Headcanon for the Soul Question is this: Souls are Born/Created spontaniously through Love. Be that Love as an Entity similar to Eternity, or the feeling of Love, different Question. So, since Vision and Wanda did absolutely love each other, tat love made the Souls that we know as the Twins. Once the Hex happened, they could basically "latch on" to Wanda´s Chaos magic, and the Magic created them Bodies
I have tried mentioning this before but it has not shown up. If you read the second paragraph of the release spell it states that the item used " should not be from someone recently deceased as that will corrupt the spell. Be careful not to use an item that shares energy with an additional person or an item belonging to many. " The locket not only has someone else's hair in it, but it also belonged to her mother. I have not seen anyone mention this at all.
Hi I am a Tarot reader and I can say that Lilia follows the Italian Strega witch code very well. When we see a very bad or tragic outcome or card for a young person, it is better not to scare them too much. The reading is mostly interpretation and can often be based on surrounding cards and how they fall in the reading. I have done readings where the person has all gloom and doom cards but I try and soften the blow. Telling someone they are going to be killed or die is not always kind. I personally would not want to know, since knowing would cloud my life going forward. Others may feel differently but I try to focus on what can be helped or changed for the better. 💜
I think that makes alot of sense. I can't imagine how hard it must be as a tarot card reader to get a very sad reading for someone and then have to decide how to relay it to them. I would probably do exactly what Lilia did and try to make it as positive as I could.
Thanks for explaining. Yes that was the vibe I got from Lilia too. To me it was clear she was trying to spin it in a positive way for Billy. But internally she was still extremely worried, that's why she cast the sigil once he left. And she told him to enjoy the present instead of worrying (because that's another rabbit hole of issues that she's not sure about)
Yes, that's true. I wouldn't do that either. Especially because he was only thirteen at the time. I read cards myself, but I specialize more in Lenormand cards, and during one reading I predicted a few events that affected people in my immediate environment and that happened exactly as I saw it . I didn't tell them anything about it.
@@serapineskreativewelt I’m a physicist, but I have deep respect for your art and trade and I hate it when my colleagues can’t have an open mind to what they find unexplainable. Now I’m not a full believer either, but it’s more so from the view point that I personally don’t have the ability to prove it. However I love the possibility of it, and the very real effect a reading can have on someone, just as how I love that others can take comfort in religion/faith. But just as with science, I can appreciate the responsibility you must feel for that knowledge, and how that knowledge could be misused.
I'm going to answer that question for you. The reason she did not tell him he only had a couple hours to live is if you remember she was ran out of every village she was ever in for predicting the truth . I would imagine over time. She's learned a be quiet about what she knows. She still tried to help you know that's why she'd done the sigal.
I think it's simple. She saw him in the accident and waking up, but couldn't tell it was a new spirit; but like you said, she didn't wanna get specific and freak him out or create a self fulfilling prophecy.
I don't think it's as deep as her being scarred by her traumatic past. I think it's just an older woman who knows that she can accurately predict the future not wanting to freak out a child on his birthday by telling him he's literally going to die in the near immediate future.
9:42 Knight of wands pose was when Alice saved Agatha, it's also when Lilia said "knight of wands". She's not holding a wand, but her magic and pose is exactly the same at the KoW tarot card.
also the vehicle suspiciously looks like the same vehicle that was in the parking garage when Billy and Eddie met with Ralph. So Ralph could've been the one driving the vehicle, as he was probably trying to escape the hex after coming out of Agatha's mind control
Could be as simple as they were distracted by the hex as well but the connection to Bohner is possible. Thats a good catch on the vehicle. Ill need to rewatch.
You know, I've watched that scene in slo-mo multiple times, and I swear that it looks like the Kaplan's car drifted over into the other lane first. Try slow pausing it and see what you think.
At the end of the show, when she does the Toby/Tommy thing… her next line after Billy says that he can’t find Tommy is basically “you are a Maximoff otherwise this wouldn’t be so dramatic,“ which I think is an illusion to one of her points during WandaVision, which is that Wanda and also Billy don’t understand fundamental witchcraft. Which causes both Wanda and Billy to take overly dramatic and powerful ways of doing things, instead of simpler magic to do it. It makes me wonder if there was a simpler spell for Billy to find Tommy.
I bet the digit working for both of his names means that their souls merged, and the morgue scenes will be Billy’s trial to resolve his identity issues.
Man I loved seeing the events of the first episode in Billy‘s perspective! Both Joe and Kathryn are such good actors. Can‘t wait for the last episodes.
The covenstead rule asserts that within any 3-mile radius, there will be a collection of witchy-enough people to form a coven. 'Wherever you go, a coven there shall be'. The interesting bit is that Lilia met him before the accident, Alice pulled him out of the wreck, he's a fan of Jen's skin-care routines, and he runs into Mrs. Davis. He met the entire coven by chance or fate. Could it be that the covenstead rule is working for Billy Maximoff, and not for Agatha? That would make the coven Billy's, instead of hers. Also, I will never get off the Sharon-train: If he needed to gather sisters fire, water, earth and air, then Agatha fits into none of those, since she's a spirit witch, and we now know that Rio is not the one Lilia foresaw. This means the spot of earth witch is still open and waiting for Sharon's triumphant return. Bring her back already, darn it!
I need to see the entire episode 1 from the actual perspective because was Agatha actually in her neighbors house when police chief turns out the light and says go home? That’s hilarious. Imagine having an ancient witch just in your dining room playing out True Crime Detective under a spell. 😂😂😂😂😂
It's a good thing Billy ended up in a body that had a similar name to his own so he could keep using his real name. It would have been awkward if he wound up in a "Bob" or something like that 😆
i didn't even pick up on the fact that william was into magic and magic related movies and stuff until i saw someone point it out and it makes a lot of sense why billy went into him, because he was already inclined to the spiritual type of stuff...and then i think her calling 'teen' her familiar was a joke, but also could have been a reference for us because her literally had the twins on leashes at the end of wanda vision (like a pet)
I always felt like Agatha suspected it was Billy like he broke into her house dressed and acting like Wanda 😂. She also flat out asked him why he needs to walk the road when he got the goods to break a spell cast by the Scarlet Witch. So when Rio told her, the boy is not yours, I now believe Agatha reacted that way because she realized that since he cheated Death, Rio is going to collect him. This could set up the climax being round 2 of the initial fight Agatha and Rio had when she took her son meaning Agatha is going to have to save Billy from Desth at the end.
That's a cool idea...yeah I wonder if Agatha will fight Rio to fight to save Billy. Maybe she has a soft spot for him after all, with them both being witches.
i just wanna say as a gay man, seeing an openly gay character that isnt just a stereotype really feels good especially in something as main stream as the mcu. i personally i love how he wears makeup and is edgy but is still overtly masculine and not yk, how most shows would protray a gay person, it really shows theyre not just writing him to be queer and its definitely something that would of helped alot growing up and im just happy people who might be confused on how to protray themselves can have this sort of rolemodel, it really is cool as hell.
This was such a good episode and I'm glad it was a longer one. It gave us more time to flesh out Billy's backstory and entertain us too. That interrogation made my dad and I laugh so hard once we saw that Agatha's "gun" was the head of a garden hose 😂
Anyone noticed how Billy's hoodie is slowly turning red? I wonder if that means something, at least, apart from blue and red being his signature colors.
I did notice, and I'm curious if it's ever going to be addressed in the narrative or if it's just a visual cue for the audience that never gets mentioned.
16:45 the body is meant to resemble Wanda. Agatha describes her appearance later and we see her scarlet hair. Plus the black fingers from the dark magic corruption. It's also a stand-in for the Darkhold's destruction, it has a library card that tells us the previous owners after all. And when she says "samples from both" she means the body and soil, because they later tell her the soil doesn't match the stuff on her body and thats how they learn the body "moved" there from Eastern Europe. The whole thing is about Wanda's death, the destructuin of the darkhold and the spell Agatha is under. Edit: I also don't think Billy remembers anything from Westview and only has this vague connection to Tommy. So after the accident he is probably doubly confused because he actually believes he has amnesia (and not regocizing his own face so he tries to convince himself he really is William) while also suddenly having these new powers. I kind of hope he can still get some memories of William before the crash back because I really want him to be Billy Kaplan like in the comics
Ah, okay, that definitely makes sense. Yeah, I do like the idea of it being Wanda's body better, but I also thought those theories people shared were definitely interesting. Thanks so much for your feedback. Really appreciate it!
Not a real body though. Agatha sensed Wanda’s death and the destruction of the Darkhold and had to try and process it within the confines of her TV persona resulting in Agatha of Westview episode. Also makes sense as a failsafe that Wanda sets in motion at the end to reunite her family and bring herself back free of the Darkhold’s corruption.
Such a great episode, thanks for the analysis and also not talking about the trailers. I've been avoiding any pictures we haven't seen in episodes yet so it's all a surprise.
Yep, I hear people wanting to avoid trailers more and more these days. So I've been trying my best to avoid any trailer info in the breakdowns. And I agree, what a great episode!!
I dont think billy lost his powers he just cant control them. He explained to his boyfriend that his abilities are tied to intense emotions. If you go back n watch each time his powers manifest you can see hes aware .
This is such an awesome scene-by-scene and script breakdown. So detailed! Thanks for all the work you’ve put into this recap. Like Loki, this show is so fun to dissect.
Thanks for the kind words and positive feedback on the vid. I agree, this show is so much fun to analyze. The mysteries are very in-depth and it's like slowly peeling back the onion as we learn each bit and piece one at a time!
I keep thinking about what is the ‘tell’ that led Agatha to be suspicious that teen was Billy Maximoff… and something that keeps coming to mind is in the last episode where she says, “you’re just like your mother. “ what keeps rattling around in my mind are the critiques that Agatha had of Wanda and WandaVision. Things like Wanda not knowing fundamental and basic witchcraft. Creating overly complicated ways of doing things when there are simpler spells to do them. Using people as puppets. Using powers that could be used for much more for silly things. Using her powers to deal with trauma being oblivious to her magic when it there were clear signs of it. Being the center or star of the show and this may be because Agatha has consciously kept herself in the background. I feel like Jack Schaeffer and the team are so intentional about lessons learned and growth and development… That it is probably something to do with a critique that Agatha had of Wanda is what led her to believe that teen was Billy . I’m sure there’s more than what I can list it off she top of my head.
Could the tell be that Billy is using his subconscious to manifest/reality warp the witches road and Agatha having been on the witches road realizes this. The line in episode three where Billy says, “so this is the (witches) road?” And Agatha replies “Yes it suits you.” Meaning the design or style fits Billy. This opens the possibility that they are or are not actually on “the road”. Is the road a psychological manifestation in order to deal with the fact that Tommy is dead or maybe Billy’s power just remakes the road in his image. Either way there are many things on the road that are part of Billy’s room.
@@jacquelinemoeller7146 Good theories...yeah, it sure does seem that Billy has alot of the same mannerism as his mom, and perhaps Agatha is indeed spotting them.
Ralph Bohner return was the funniest thing ever 💯 and Agatha with that garden hose nozzle for a gun was hilarious 🤣💯 but the interaction between Agatha and Teen at the end of the episode was gold 🔥🔥💯
About the tower tarot card, what if the lightning bolt is a symbol for Tommy? He has super speed and a lighting bolt is a common symbol for that kind of power (think the Flash from DC). So maybe the two figures falling off the tower are Billy and Tommy's spirits/souls "flying away" to their new bodies when the Hex (= the tower) starts collapsing on itself?
Billy's fingers are stained in Ep 1 in story as him having his fingerprints taken in custody. But we see in Ep 6 that his hands are clean. It's possible that Agatha's subconscious saw the little piece of the Darkhold that survives inside Billy (and the dead piece of William Kaplan). Agatha in current Marvel Comics continuity is fostering a boy who is the living Darkhold right now, too!
Interesting theory...yeah, I wondered if those dark fingers that Agatha only saw during the spell might have a deeper meaning. That would be wild if Billy was somehow channeling some of the Darkhold that survives inside him!
9:44 Actually Alice was holding her arms this way when she was blasting Agatha’s mom outta Agatha is you remember she had her right hand forward and her left one back and it reminded me of Ghostbusters
32:43 I don’t think so because billy wasn’t even there when they were singing the song and billy should’ve, also they did the door open before he came down the stairs because they opened it and THEN he came down, and billy does not feel like an earth witch at all, and in episode 3, rio made a flower from nothing so I do believe that mrs. hart did work as a filler I guess because she started jamming and singing in the song, but that’s jsut what I think! ❤
Good theories...yeah, I'm really interested to know who the green witch is. Thanks for sharing your ideas on it. I suspect you could be correct. We'll find out soon!
Billy isn't Agatha's Familiar. They call him familiar so that he can tag along, as the song allows "familiar by thy side". Toto is Dorothy's pet in The Wizard of Oz, that could be a familiar
Right! That's what I thought as well...he's like their Toto. But now I do wonder if Billy is a key part of the team, if he is indeed the earth witch. Before long, Agatha may be Billy's pet. lol!
It’s Billy’s quest. And Billy’s coven. Sharon wasn’t a witch. And all the other witches have some connection to Billy. Could also relate to Agatha’s taunts about using people and letting them die. Sharon didn’t need to be there and she died because Agatha used her as cover for Billy.
Lilia being the one who cast the sigil was definitely not on my bingo card, but I guess it does make sense because of the shape being similar to what's on his card. On an unrelated note, I can't be the only one who thinks it's really funny that, in episode 2, Billy confesses to Agatha that he knows an egregious amount about her, but what he means is that he just heard her name for the first time the night before and did a Google search LOL
I wonder if Billy had been researching for awhile. We only saw that one time that he was researching, but perhaps he did alot of research we don't see? But yeah, it's a very good question!
@@BrokenSoulConfession it seemed pretty clear in the context that he had never heard of Agatha before he talked to Ralph bohner. Am I really reading that wrong?
As someone who’s Jewish I can say that Magical Mitzvah was pretty accurate and honestly I was not expecting that intro, my parents were laughing because we go to Mitzvahs a lot!
Niiiice! I'm glad that you felt it was authentic representation for the Mitzvah. I love how they did that scene. I really appreciate when Marvel gives cultural representation like that. Am I correct that he was likely celebrating his Mitzvah on his Jewish birthday rather than the day he physically turned 13 based on the Gregorian calendar?
@@AbitofEverything4U I get the confusion but it’s not a Jewish birthday. As you rent a Temple for the closest Shabbas preparations have to made weeks in advance as long as the Mitzvah is celebrated around your actual 13th birthday.
Yeah, I did a terrible job of asking that question. What I meant to ask is whether it is celebrated on your 13th birthday based on the Gregorian calendar or the Jewish calendar. I found a website that let's you figure out your Mitzvah based on your date of birth and it seems that it isn't the next Sabbath after your Gregorian calendar birthday, but it is instead based on a different calendar. Hope that made sense. Sorry for my ignorance of the right words to use.
okay so I have some really wild and out-there theories, which probably aren't gonna be true but i think they're kinda fun: I feel like there's something yet to be revealed regarding why Rio is around, why she and Billy appeared at Agatha's place at around the same time very coincidentally, and most importantly how she feels about Billy. Remember, in the last episode we got to learn that she isn't fond of ghosts, presumably because they stick around in the world of the living, and that is kinda what Billy himself has done. Billy has "broken the rules" like Agatha said in this episode, and maybe juuuust maybe Rio's appearance and her letting Agatha letting on the road has all been for the purpose of claiming Billy's soul? (and perhaps Tommy's too? since it's been hinted that he might be retrievable at the end of the road?) Or maybe, if your theory of Agatha helping Rio claim souls by causing major disasters and deaths is correct ot any extent, then could it be that that's the reason why Rio told her "that boy isn't yours"? as to imply that he, or rather his soul, is to be claimed by her? is Agatha by any chance still abiding by that relationship of providing her souls, in this case trying to provide her Billy? Finally, I know that the most major hitch in these theories would be the Sigil, but i think that it's possible Rio has been unaffected by the Sigil all this time solely because of the fact that she's Death, and Death I feel like would have inherent access to knowledge about everyone's soul (or maybe souls, in Billy/William's case) even if there's a Sigil on them. I mean it'd be very not-Death-like to not notice how a kid's soul left the makeshift body it had, but rather than go into the after it instead immediately took hold of a different body. also a tiny last thing that i haven't seen people talking about is how Rio, when she first arrived on the road, said she was "in the neighborhood" and just prior to that we had seen a very literal Death in Lilia's hallucination thingy. could it be that she's been on the road all for longer than we think?
Great theories! Yeah, I do wonder if Rio is there to collect Billy's soul. If so, that could lead to some big conflict in the finale, if Agatha decides to protect him.
I don't know if it will be relevant in the future, but they went out of their way to indicate Billy's powers are based on or around emotion. He told Eddie he could only hear thoughts when the person had strong emotions, which correlates that we only "heard" the Kaplan's right after the accident, Eddie when he was getting ready to use the L word, and Ralph freaking out over Agnes. Then we see he wasn't able to use his telekinetic powers like before, when he had been grieving Alice and pissed at Agatha.
Good point...poor little guy. It really does affect kids when parents fight like that and Billy could even hear when they were just ranting about each other in their heads.
Another cool fact is that it was revealed that in a deleted scenes Alice would interrogate William's parents, but couldn't hear his name because of the sigil, so that's why she was fired and became a security officer in the mall
That's a super-interesting question about Lilia causing Multiverse of Madness by putting the sigil on Billy! Ultimately, I still think that even if it weren't for that, the Darkhold would've still gotten Wanda obsessed with going to 838 to find Billy and Tommy. She left Westview right after collapsing the hex, so she didn't really have a way to know that Billy existed in Kaplan's body. And then she started having dreams about 838. It was fun to go back and rewatch those scenes from episode 1! I did that pretty much immediately after I watched this week's episode. But yeah, I'm pretty confused about Rio's role in all of this now. I'm glad you mentioned the earlier reference to Alice having been a cop, because I totally didn't remember that and was pretty confused when she showed up as a cop in this flashback. And yeah, I loved learning about what the general public was told about the hex and Wanda and Vision's fate. It's something I wonder about a lot of events in the MCU.
I agree...it seems like the Darkhold had a hold of Wanda so that even without the sigil, she probably wouldn't have been able to find her kids in 616. And I loved how they revisited the scenes from episode 1. That was so cool!
I agree that Lilia is not the reason Wanda couldn't find Billy, and if she is it means that Tommy is dead, because if he were corporeal in this universe, he would not be protected by the sigil.
Thank you for making separate videos on the trailers. I'm avoiding those like the plague so having discussion videos which don't reference those can be rare
That's great to hear you take that approach with the trailers. Yeah, I wanted to mention that up front to remove any concerns about it. Being surprised by what's to come is definitely the way to go!
I found it interesting that they were only referred to as William Kaplan and Billy maximoff as a way for the audience to more easily distinguish between both characters as different entities. Maybe the black heart connection was Rio creating the identity of Eddie as a way to trick Billy to admit that he broke the rules of life and death. We know that Rio hates ghosts and knew who Billy was prior to the sigil being broken. This episode was so good, and great vid!!
I don't think it's actually Billy's body. I think it's a metaphor for the darkhold destroyed and Wanda being the last person to use it. In the end of Multiverse of Madness every last copy was destroyed (as referenced by the wanda vision delivery guy) and this is also why the book title spells DARKHOLD (and the author is an anagram for WUNDAGORE). So in a way, the darkhold was murdered and so, looking through the lens of Wanda's spell, it manifested as a body looking like Wanda
Right! Yeah, in my first episode breakdown I definitely made the case for it being meant to represent Wanda's body. But I did find that theory about it being Billy that someone left in a comment to be worth mentioning, as it seems every line has a double meaning in the show. Love the excellent writing!
25:34 That line reminded of the first Iron Man movie when Rhodey reports to the press that Iron Man's encounter with the two Air Force jets was an unfortunate training exercise.
A few thoughts I have (this’ll be a long one, so bear with me): 1. Ralph: I’m definitely one of those people that treats deleted scenes as canon until they’re contradicted. That being said, I don’t think Ralph being the FBI witness is still canon. Agatha is wearing a Bohner Family Reunion shirt when Billy comes knocking. Ralph is receiving mail at this address with that surname (that Monica finds), and his headshots have that name, and its part of his Reddit username. If he’s hiding from criminals, he’s doing a pisspoor job at it, since Witness Protection changes your name and he’s clearly kept his actual family name. Also, Witness Protection abandons you if you expose yourself from what I’ve seen, and those headshots, plus his one man show in Paramus, prove he was pursuing a public acting career. And he calls the house HIS house. Witness Protection owns the properties witnesses live in. 2. Opening the Road: I don’t think the elements (Water, Fire, Earth, Air, Spirit) or the specialties (Potions, Protections, Herbology, Divination and whatever specialty Agatha has) are required to open the Road. All you need is a Coven. Agatha seeks out these roles because they’re useful, and a variety of skills and abilities would ensure a higher degree of success, but nothing in the show suggests that you need one of every type of witch in your Coven to access the road. So Sharon being a human is irrelevant. She’s part of the Coven, and a Coven is all that’s needed, especially if she’s the ONLY human. For all we know, a Coven of two humans and a witch could also open the Road. 3. Teen not seeing Rio: Aubrey just probably wasn’t available that day. Aubrey was filming both Megalopolis and Agatha All Along at the same time, so they probably just had it framed so that Rio wasn’t in the shot. Agatha says in episode 1 that if Teen wasn’t in her imagination, that neither was Rio (or she would’ve said that if Rio hadn’t cut her off). I choose to believe that. 4. The Green Witch’s Specialty: I alluded to it in my second point, but I found a TH-cam Short, a branded Ad sponsored by Disney where Rio’s specialty is specifically listed as Herbology, which hasn’t been pointed out in the show or any other promotional materials yet. The TH-cam Short is by the TH-camr Jessica Kellgren-Fozard.
I don’t think Rio was physically there until she busts in. In Agatha’s illusion she was supposed to be watching the interrogation through the mirror, which was in reality just that picture on the wall in the living room. So before it was just her reaching into the illusion as Agatha is beginning to wake up due to Wanda’s death.
@@JustMe-dc6ks Since in Agatha's Hex, Rio was in the next room over behind the two way mirror, it's possible that she was in reality in the next room over, hiding from Billy. If I've understood the layout of Ralph's house correctly, Rio would've been in the room with the fake car. Which makes sense; Rio waits for Agatha to shove Billy in the closet, then they're in the same room while Agatha "drives" to the morgue, Rio encourages her to wake up, then she leaves to get ready to properly attack Agatha.
Great feedback! 1. I agree, just seems like that deleted scene no longer fits. Plus, it always seemed strange to me that someone in the witness protection system would have a GPS device and then would cut it off and run. He was acting like he was in trouble, when Jimmy Woo was there to help him. 2. I'm still not sure what to think about opening the road. You may be right that you don't need all the witches to open it, but then again, it didn't open until Billy ran downstairs. So there's something going on that hasn't been revealed yet. 3. I think there is something they didn't want us to see about Rio. Either she wasn't really there or she wasn't hiding her true form at that moment. I suspect the latter is the case. 4. I'm pretty sure that Billy is the last member of the coven, so I'm guessing he is the earth witch. But just my theory on it.
i feel like lilia telling teen what she saw in her vision would’ve had the same implications that dr strange had felt would’ve been the case if he told iron man that the fight was their 1 in 14,000,605 in that it wouldn’t have happened. if that was the case, lilia probably felt it wasn’t her place to let him know that and rather have him the sigil till he was ready to protect himself
Jac Schaeffer and her team deserve so much praise!! I love the level of detail, the red herrings in the narrative, but also the overall cohesiveness and presentation of both WandaVision aswell as Agatha All Along. It's just captivating. Wish more MCU shows would be on that quality.
It’s a bit of a stretch but I’ve been thinking whether or not Jimmy Woo has any relation to Alice Wu and her mom. I’m thinking they may be related, but since Jimmy wanted to pursue a career in the FBI he altered the spelling of his name to somewhat distance himself from Alice and her mom. Or perhaps Lorna Wu altered her name since it may have fit better as a stage name. It would kinda explain him taking a liking to learning close up magic and being involved in wandavision. Assuming they do have some sort of relationship, I’m curious if he’ll make an appearance in the show
Eddie (or Teddie) talking about the avengers training test, reminded me of Kamala Kahn asking if her swapping with Monica was an avengers test in The Marvels.
I’ve been waiting for your video! I love your work! Also imo The familiar Shtick besides being a wizard of Oz joke could be because familiars were suspected during the witch trial of gaining their powers by suckling from a witches teet lol so it could also be a nod to the fact that he’s a “baby” in her eyes & harmless.
I think now were probably at some point going to see Rio’s POV for the first ep. Probably not a full episode, but I imagine after a big reveal, the following episode Cold Opens with the Events of Ep1, condensed, from Rio’s POV
Good question! I will say, I watched that scene a few times going frame by frame and it really seems the other vehicle started on the correct side of the road as you can see it trying to swerve away from the Kaplan's car. Or at least I think that's what happened. It is really quick, so it's hard to tell, tbh.
@@AbitofEverything4U You just gave me an epiphany. What if the truck had the person who Tommy became in it. The truck could have crashed, too. We know, thanks to Agatha, that both the front seat airbags went to deploy, but they didn't for Billy's crash. What if the truck crashed and the reason the parents are gone leaving Tommy is because, according to another comment I saw, in the comics, Tommy's parents are neglectful.
Yet another awesome analysis! I really enjoyed this episode and I’m especially having fun looking through both William and Billy’s rooms to see what fun things I can find. So far my favourite items have been the stock image poster in William’s room (the Mystic Rock poster that I had hoped would have been a Lorna Wu performance or something but it’s a cool stock image instead) and the Baba Yaga’s house on Billy’s shelf above his desk. Both things mean absolutely nothing other than being cool set pieces but interesting all the same. There is also a board game shelf above his desk and I’m going to have to go back to episode 5 and see if any of them look the same as a few seem older. He’s also got some interesting books. And who doesn’t love a bit of Evanescence? Anyway, I can’t wait to see what happens in the next episode! Oh! One last thing, I totally cracked up when Agatha put Billy into the closet and you see all of Ralph’s blu ray collection in there. Just had to point it out.
22:24 Here's a fun connection between The Goonies and the MCU. It was the film debut of Josh Brolin, who would later play Thanos, and also starred Ke Huy Quan (Ouroboros in Loki).
I think Lillia has learned not to tell people what she sees because people hate her for it, like she said in an early episode, getting run out of town for accurately predicting the future. I heard a theory that the sigil was actually to make her forget about him so that she didn't feel guilty and it was unintended that other witches couldn't tell who he was either.
Yes. She can’t change his fate so she just encourages him to make the most of every moment. I think the sigil though is because it’s too dangerous for other witches to sense him before he can defend himself. She sees the future after all. Agatha has a history of stealing “undeserved” power. His mother was under the influence of the Darkhold. …
I like that idea...I suspect Lilia had told people their fortunes more plainly in the past and been treated terribly for it, so she's learned to temper what she says to avoid conflict and anger from the person she is reading.
Wow what an amazing episode, I'm crazy about this series. So, I feel so dumb about the sigil it was in front of our eyes all this time but I love that the show still surprises us every week, at the end it was Lilia all along 😅 I love that it was Lilia it makes totally sense, maybe she saw all of the things that happen in MOM, well in Loki we see that "now" everyone had free will but there are some things that had to happen, maybe the Darkhold has to be destroyed and if Wanda know that her kids are alive maybe that wouldn't happened. This series has a big influence on the Darkhold so maybe they will go after that explanation, I hope that we know the answer of why Lilia put the sigil in him. The accident was so heartbreaking to see, I'm sure that William Kaplan is dead, but is alive at a certain point. Billy didn't know anything about who he is, so he took the things in William's room and make his personality of course at the time past he added things, but Billy try so hard to be William Kaplan that's what he said to the mirror "I'm William Kaplan" trying to convince himself that he is someone that he doesn't known, but he doesn't know who he is, it looks like Billy doesn't remember anything about the hex neither his name, he only remember the name of "Tommy" so that's because he is after the witches road "The road will give you what is missing" Billy think that what he is missing is Tommy. But I think that he lost himself and that is what the road would give him. We will see what happens at the end of the road. I think that Billy think that he is a bad person because he took a dead body of a innocent child, his parents, his life, his friends, his personality everything, and now he thinks that Lilia and Jennifer are dead just because to fulfill his own purpose. And now that we known that Billy is the blackheart, obviously the Morgue is his trial. And the last thing I noticed it's that his room is what the witches road are based, I don't discard the theory that he has something to do with the witches road, also the end credits looks like his room too, it has to mean something. I'm sure that I'm missing something but I don't want to expand this comment further haha. I love the episode, I love this series and I love this breakdowns, thank you so much for your hard work. ❤
Fantastic commentary! I am indeed wondering if Billy had something to do with creating the road. His room sure hints at it. If he created the road, I wonder what he is looking to gain from it. Man, so many cool mysteries. Thanks as always for sharing your thoughts. Really appreciate it!
When she says there was a car wreck an hour before time of death, she is still thinking about her fake murder case, the car crash is billys parents crash and it happens an hour before the "death" of the girl found in the woods (wanda) ((she didnt really die then but thats what her fantasy makes her believe))
Why would detective Agnes have treated a three year old car accident as if it happened yesterday. If Rio is responsible for the detective spell, then Rio clearly wanted Agatha to think about Billy’s death for some reason
@@camrenstuder6734 Good question! So, my original thought on the "detective" spell in episode 1 was that she was seeing lots of things that happened in the past. For instance, if the body is meant to represent the Scarlet Witch, that happened 2 years ago in MoM which is in 2024. And if the accident was meant to represent the one that killed William, that was 3 years ago. So I was just thinking she was seeing things from lots of different points in time. But after the airbags didn't deploy, I'm beginning to doubt that I was right about that. So it does seem there was a different crash and now I want to know more about it!
I think everything with Lilia is twinged with this question of predetermination in the MCU. The rules of time travel and stuff unfortunately make this all harder than anyone (including the writers) would’ve wanted. If Lilia saw the possibility that William wasn’t going to die, I think she would’ve said something. Anything innocuous would’ve worked because she has the plausible deniability of being a presumably fake psychic. “Drive safely today!” Or “don’t look out windows!” Or anything like those would’ve worked. She has no reason not to say anything unless she had a Dr. Strange moment and saw that it had to happen for the good of the universe. But to me what’s more likely is, since she didn’t give a warning, I think his death was destined to happen. It’s either an absolute point, or because it’s related to Wanda it’s a nexus event. That’s why I also don’t feel like Lilia’s “at fault” for MoM. I think whatever she saw, she understood she couldn’t do anything about it. I think pretty much every witch knows about the Scarlet Witch prophecy, and there’s a chance Lilia also sensed what was happening in Westview, the same way Agatha did. She’s the most likely person to realize what was happening couldn’t or shouldn’t be stopped. Part of me even wonders if the sigil was her decision, or if that was also a predetermination thing like in Harry Potter, where she saw that in the future, William had a sigil on him, and she realized maybe it was her who was supposed to cast it. The timing of everything is really fascinating to me. When exactly did Billy realize who he is? What made Agatha come out of her spell? I really don’t think it was the death of Wanda or the end of the darkhold since, as you mentioned, both of those happened years before. I feel like it must be related to Billy in some way. The other car accident’s connection to the body Agatha found is super mysterious, and I hope we get answers by the end of the show. Maybe that accident is related to Tommy 🤔 but ugh WHO IS THAT BODY?!?! I love this show lol Great video as always friend!!
Great points about Lilia. I agree, it seems she made the right choice in giving her answers to William as she did. Can't wait for her to see Billy again. That's gonna be wild! And yeah, the mysteries in this show are so compelling. The next episode can't come soon enough!
Here are some of my theories: 1) Agatha and Teen first encounter Wanda's plot: - Teen said: "I'm over here" after Agatha gave him a suspicious look :"Oh are you?" -> may be she started to doubt his identity relating to Wanda this moment -> what does he mean by "over here". Is it just simply his parking car, or a whole house? He's in Eastview originally, how did he pull off a house here? Did he mind control a civillian there? 2) Agatha - Rio relationship: - Does Agatha actively try to attend tragic events to find a young enough and suitable body for his son? - Did Agatha kill so much that even Death herself is impressed and fell in love with her? - Did they make a pact/deal? That's why Agatha have to constantly kill people to finish her task? In that light, the wya she keeps denying telling the truth about her horrible past so people would be scared enough to stay away from her, so no one has to die? 3) Some of the Ballad Lyrics: - "Darkest hour, wake thy power/ Earthly and Divine" (E5) -> So Rio Earth magic did have to wake here cause she had to use it to collect Alice's body -> does it mean Billy's magic is Divine in nature, or doed it still count as Chaos? - "Blood and tears and bones" -> i view this as ingredients for a resurrection spell. Billy already has Wanda's blood. Jusf Tears and Bones left. Maybe the Jane Doe's corpse would help in that. (I got this theory before watching E6, but may be it still works out somehow for Tommy) 4) Lilia's scene: - What she saw when reading palm may be was either too overwhelming for the kid, or, was forbidden for even a sheer to witness. So to avoid trepassing the rule and the consequences, she put on the sigil for both her and Billy to protect each other. - i wonder if Lilia has been using sigils for so long so she doesnt have to remember super painful events. (But this could be wrong 'cause in E3, her hallucination was still quite vivid) - Why cant Death punish Billy right away but kind of waiting? -> does Death count as a witch? It makes sense for Wanda to not sense Billy cause of the sigil, but not for Death i suppose, she's cosmic being, a witch spell could hardly prevent her. Lilia's sigil may have more meanings than just that. 5) "All roads lead to me": - Is Death the reason no witches have ever finished the Road. They are all dead under her hands? (May be that's why only Agatha could survive cause she already made a deal with Death) 6) Jane Doe's Corpse: - In terms of the detective scene, we've got Agatha's POV, Billy's POV. There are the neighbor's and Rio's POV left to see, i cant wait. - is the body a trade from Wanda? Did she subconsciously offer her body in exchange for William's body so Death would leave Billy's soul alone? 7) The black heart: - Agatha said: Every witch with a beating heart can hear you now" -> Can Death feel Billy trespassing deed now? Is Death a witch, and can she have a beating heart? -> I still hold on to the hope that after the sigil broke, Wanda's essence can feel her son and manifest its self on the witches road. 8) Finally, will we see Sharon's Taobits purse under the mud 😂. And will there be anything important in it haha? I cant wait. thank you for creating a space for us to discuss. it's been so fun to share theories!
Fantastic theories. Loved reading them all. They are some very creative ideas. I especially love the idea of seeing Mrs. Hart's bag again (lol!), but I also like the idea of Rio falling in love with Agatha due to all the death she causes. Thanks for taking the time to share all your thoughts. Really appreciate it. I agree, I love that this is a space for people to do that!
Jewish people actually have a long mystic connection, especially in Europe, with Kabbalah. The tree of life design is a nod to the Kabbalic Tree of Life and the Jewish cosmology (may also be a nod to Yggdrasil, the norse tree of life which Loki guards - there's a lot of overlap between European mythologies and ashkenazi ideas about the universe)
ikr? Same for me on my first watch of each episode. I have to watch them again, sometimes frame by frame, and end up shouting "oh wow!' multiple times while making the breakdowns. Such good writing in the series!
when Billy has all the papers on the ground while researching with Eddie, we can see a headline saying "Examining the Red Dome Anomaly and it's Impact" and it is dated February 15, 2026! marvel adding a year in their show/movies for once!
Wanda copied the real souls of her corporeal children from throughout the multi-universe and brought them inside the hex . Wanda Vision established Wanda may not be able to traverse the multiverse physically but her CMBR energy allows her to pull things into her hex from the Multiverse .
@@AbitofEverything4U I mean this is how I understood the events unfolding and why she was fooled by the illusion of Evan Peters as Quicksilver . I think more proof of this concept is how Wanda acknowledged how both Aaron Taylor Johnson and Evan Peters were in Kick Ass when she was speaking to Ralph . I think that was Marvels way of saying she was confusing realities including our own w/o fully breaking the fourth wall. Everything meta in that series can be attributed to Darcy’s scientific evaluation of how chaos magic works inside the Hex.
@@AbitofEverything4U also if MOM establishes Wanda has the same children in corporal form across the multiverse Wanda didn’t create them fully out of thin air . They were a real concepts she realized in a pocket of the 616 .
Man. I’m just going to retype what I wrote before. But if Liliah gets her powers super charged from the road and is able to actually remember everything and see the past present and future.. she would be so powerful 😭
Made a whole bunch of notes as I was watching your video. There is nothing about Lilia's divination that indicates she knows he's literally about to die later that day. Her visions may be way more abstract than that. She also demonstrably isn't always even aware of her own visions. As such it's a huge leap to assume she's willfully withholding anything from him. Lilia is NOT to blame for Multiverse of Madness. Terrible writers are to blame for that crap. The Black Cauldron also has witches in it, and it's about an evil sorceror who is trying to raise the dead, some relevance perhaps. I wish they had included a reference to Arthurian Legend, like a Sword in the Stone poster or something, in William's room. Billy and Teddy eventually start to cultivate a lot of Merlin and Arthur imagery so it would have been nice to begin to seed in that here. Miles Gutierrez (Eddie) better not be playing Teddy Altman. The fans will riot. He is way too shrimpy. Teddy is supposed to be the beefcake to Billy's twink, they represent different faces of the gay community. If this show is going to connect with Mephisto (which I do NOT think will happen) this is where I'd put it. Eddie is either an agent of, or disguised form of Mephisto himself. He's trying to get close to Billy. One of my biggest concerns, as a long-time Wiccan fan, is that this version of the story will undermine the Billy KAPLAN identity too much. I don't like that the William Kaplan soul is dead and has been replaced by Billy Maximoff. My hope is that Billy's lack of interest in finding Wanda is not only because he thinks she's dead, but also because he already has a family. Him seeking out his twin soul because he feels incomplete without him makes sense, so I like that angle. I also think the writers need to hold onto the fact that even in this version of the story, the Kaplans have been his parents far longer (and probably better) than Wanda ever was. The entire Westview hex lasted no more than a couple weeks, maximum, and the boys didn't even exist for all of it. By the time Billy walks the road with Agatha he's been living with the Kaplans for 3 years. They ARE his parents now. Also interesting to note that as of yet, no one has ever said the name Billy Kaplan. We've had William Kaplan, and Billy Maximoff. I'm hoping that this is intentional, and that by the end of this story he chooses the name Billy Kaplan for himself, as a fusion of the two identities, an acknowledgement that he is both. Billy, as black heart, being the real 5th member of the coven makes a certain amount of sense- what doesn't quite jive is the idea that he's a Green Witch. Earth magic doesn't really line up with his power set. Unless Green Witch, in this case has a double meaning. "Green" as a synonym for young, fresh, and inexperienced- a novice witch, rather than an Earth powered witch. Alternatively, Billy is an extremely powerful cosmic being in the comics, in many ways considered to be heart of all magic. So, perhaps, he IS a Green Witch, but he's also all of the other types of witch too. Like the Avatar in the Last Airbender franchise. Many people have pointed out that Billy seems to be responsible for starting all the trials, but I'd like to note that he is also responsible for completing all of them, at least in part. During the potions trial he drops in the frankincense, contributes his blood, and also is the one to stir the potion when everyone else loses motor function. During the protection trial he participates in the song, even going to far as to play through his injury rather than stop because he is trying to protect the others from the curse. And of course he single-handedly completes the spirit trial by communing with Nicholas and moving the planchette to "Goodbye." If his proximity to the trials IS important I suspect it's his completing them that will matter more than him starting them. I firmly believe that FBI Rio was never physically present. Likely, she was probing Agatha's mind trying to shake her out of the curse, and manifested in Agatha's imagination as an FBI agent. She doesn't actually show up in the flesh until she blasts open Agatha's front door. It's possible that she couldn't even find Agatha in the real world so long as she was under the hex. This would also explain why the Salem Seven never showed up in that 3 year period. Billy breaking Agatha free perhaps made her discoverable. We DO know Rio was really there for the fight in episode 1 because the front door really was blasted off the house, and because Billy recognizes Rio when she gets summoned to the road "The scary but charismatic lady is back." "I had a feeling when we first met." She might be lying, but I think she's being honest. During their first conversation (after the hex is dispelled) she says something about "Well, if you've got the goods to break a spell cast by the Scarlet Witch..." She knows how powerful the Scarlet Witch is. Maybe only a caster of comparable power, or perhaps a relation, is even capable undoing the hex. That was probably her first clue right there. That's not to say that she NEVER believed him to be Nicholas. People are capable of holding two conflicting theories in their heads at the same time. She may well have spent the first few trials thinking "he's probably Wanda's kid... but what if he's really my Nicky?" I am extremely curious what she means about "The same tell." I hope that gets explained. My first thought was that maybe they both believe themselves to be good people who don't cause harm, when in fact they are just deluding themselves. But now I actually wonder if this might tie into my earlier theory about the Witches' Road not being real at all, just a hex conjured by Billy on accident. Maybe the tell is that both Billy and Wanda have a bad habit of completely rewriting reality around them without even realizing it. Does Agatha REALLY think Jen and Lilia are dead? Or is she just saying that to manipulate Billy's guilt? It's been pretty well established by this point that Wanda is kind of a hack who doesn't know what the hell she's doing. Yes, she's super powerful, but she has no training, and the only education she did receive came from the book of the damned, so, at best misinformed and corrupted, at worst full-on possessed. She probably couldn't find Tommy because she just doesn't know how really. Billy, on the other hand, has clearly spent time in the last three years studying witchcraft, even before he knew of the Agatha connection. He also might be able to sense Tommy because they are twin souls. One line you overlooked that I think might be hugely significant is when Agatha says "You really are a Maximoff, otherwise none of this would be nearly as dramatic" when she says this she gestures as if to indicate the entire road itself. I think this is another hint to a theory I expressed earlier. That the road is, in fact, all a giant hex cast by Billy, probably without his knowledge. He thinks they're walking the Witches' Road, for real. Agatha knows the Road doesn't exist, it never has, and that this entire adventure has been taking place in a hex of Billy's making, a hex he doesn't even realize he cast. His idea of the Witches' Road. "I didn't think you had it in you..." to fool yourself so completely into thinking this is real that you'd let an innocent like Sharon die just to sell yourself on your own delusion. This would also tie into a lot of what we've seen. When they first get to the road at the end of episode 2 Agatha looks back at Billy with a look of amazement on her face. She's impressed that he was able to conjure all this. At the beginning of Episode 3 Lilia says to Alice "You didn't think it was real, did you?" Alice responds, "And you did?" None of them did. Witches have been passing this tale on for centuries as a metaphor. Lilia may be less surprised because she foresaw a journey on the road for herself long ago. But Billy, the naive teenager with only internet searches to go on, latches onto this idea that the road is real and believes it completely because no expert witches have ever taught him otherwise. This would also be yet another point of connection to The Wizard of Oz. That movie has been a HUGE influence on this show, and has been featured in many easter eggs, particularly in Billy's room- and it concludes with the revelation that the entire magical land of Oz was the product of Dorothy's imagination. Foreshadowing? Billy "discovers" the kick-off to each trial, perhaps because on an unconscious level he's the one who created them. He knows what the triggers are ahead of time, even if he doesn't realize it. There are a lot of other snippets that support this idea, as well, but this comment is already practically a novel, and I've covered a bunch of them before in your other videos.
Great feedback! Thanks for sharing all that! 1. I agree, Lilia might not have any specifics to share about her vision. 2. Good point about The Black Cauldron and witches 3. Yeah, I suspect Eddie isn’t Teddy and I do wonder if Teddy willl turn out to be a pawn in all of this 4. I like your points about Billy Maximoff adopting new parents in the Kaplans 5. I agree, I’m struggling with Billy being the green witch. 6. You are right that Billy starts and ends the trial. I do think he’s running the show for sure. I don’t think he created the road, but he sure has the most interest in completing it. 7. I agree on Rio…I don’t think she was actually there as the FBI agent. 8. It does seem Agatha has been confused about Teen. I think she went back and forth between thinking it was Billy and that it was Nicholas. I really do want to know what the tell is. 9. I’m not sure what Agatha thinks about Lilia and Jen. But she definitely could care less about them. Lol! 10. I do wonder if Wanda’s lack of training led her to be unable to find the kids. Interesting theory. 11. Those are interesting ideas that Billy created the road and doesn’t even know he did it. But then I wonder why Agatha was willing to go on the road. And I wonder what Billy thought he could get out of it, if it’s fake. But yeah, fantastic theories. I love it!
@AbitofEverything4U If Billy created the road I suspect he is unaware of it. He doesn't think it's fake, he firmly believes he's on the real road and he'll get what he's looking for at the end. And he still could. Even if the road is a product of his subconscious manifesting a hex, he could still find Tommy anyway. Tommy might not even have a body right now. He isn't a witch so it's unlikely he'd be able to body hop on his own. Maybe Billy will learn to find Tommy's soul some how. As to why Agatha would willingly enter into a fake road of Billy's making- for the same reason she was willing to enter the hex of Wanda's making. To see what this kid is capable of and determine whether she can use that to achieve whatever her ultimate goal is. Also they were being chased by the Salem Seven at the time, it was either face them without magic or flee into the road/hex.
35:40 Did you see how Billy's finger tips turned black for a second there when casting the spell to free Agatha? Could that be an indication that the spell he used may have been copied or stemming from the Darkhold somehow? And could this imply that there might still be ecxerpts of the Darkhold somewhere?
I have been waiting for your video, let's go! My apologies for the long post! Take your time reading: So far starters, I think it was an amazing twist that Lilia was the one to cast the sigil. Definitely didn't see that coming! It does make me wonder though, now that the sigil is broken, if Teen and Lilia see each other again on the road....will she recognize him now? Maybe they have an intense conversation about how they both got from there to here? Also as far as ethics go, I think to us it is important to be honest and share facts with each other but as a witch, protecting the timeline and not putting your hands in too many baskets might be the safer option. Maybe it's MORE ethical to let sacred time play out as it is supposed to, regardless of how traumatizing it might be. Also I think that the "one hour before time of death" statement, to me, means the time of death of the Hex. Maybe it took one full hour or an hour and a half for the Hex to fully go down and the effects to wear off. So if it took Billy 30 minutes to get in that accident after receiving the text to evacuate, it would make sense that there would still be an hour left of the Hex before it fully "died down" so to speak. I hope that made sense. I also wonder if Tommy hasn't found a body yet. If Billy already came into his magick, and Tommy into his speed, it might have been easier for Billy to connect with and go into William's body. Maybe Tommy wasn't so lucky. That's why Billy can "feel" him but can't "hear" him or "find" him. (Remember from WandaVision that Billy could hear Vision's thoughts while he was OUTSIDE the Hex. So he definitely has some range on his abilities.) That might be what he wants at the end of the road, a body for Tommy or maybe he strikes a deal with Rio and SHE finds a body for Tommy in exchange for him using his wish at the end for something else instead. We will just have to see. I wonder if Billy has been reading the minds of all the witches on the road this whole time! He probably knows more than we could ever hope to understand. I think the car radio was just a visualization of how far Wanda's power could reach, but I agree with you. Hearing his parents' voices on the radio made him travel in that direction, but it was also a representation that her power was stretching and interfering miles away. I wonder if you can help ease some of my confusion on this: So is William Kaplan dead-dead or are Billy and William both living inside the one body? I was under the impression that William died and it's Billy's soul inside of William's body. If that is the case, that means the emo personality, the boyf, scary movies, etc. Everything that is new to "William" is actually Billy's personality 100% and he has been trying to assimilate as William and faking it this whole time. And all this "out of the norm" behavior for William is strictly Billy's personality outside the Hex that we never got to experience? I wonder if Billy ever felt controlled by the Hex or if he was one of the few people experiencing free will during that time. Definitely an AMAZING episode! I gotta wonder though, where the heck is Rio?! We know she stayed behind on the cabin trial but Agatha and Billy are just....continuing without her? I thought we "needed" a green witch to survive the road. So why would they leave her behind? I don't know her absence hasn't been sitting right with me. I still think her in the green cloak from the trailer has to mean something in connection with being a green witch. Or maybe it's another black heart red herring! I love sharing my theories on your channel! I can't wait to see how this plays out! I think for sure we are getting another flashback but more focused on Rio and Agatha possibly. BTW, the interactions with Agatha from Billy's perspective were CRACKING. ME. UP! I remember in ep.1 thinking "Wow Agatha is so slick and cool and wow that chair kick was awesome" but to see how actually clumsy the entire thing was! LOL
Great feedback and theories! 1. I can't wait to see what conversations we get between Lilia and Billy now that the sigil is gone! 2. Your "hour before death" theory makes a ton of sense. 3. I am so curious to know where Tommy is and how he was hidden from Wanda searching for him. 4. Totally agree on the car radio theory. 5. I am assuming William Kaplan is dead, but I'm also assuming the Billy started out acting like William (to make the parents feel okay) but then slowly brought out his own personality. So I think we are seeing Billy's personality 3 years later. 6. I am so curious to know what is going on with Rio! 7. Loved, loved, loved the reveals about Agatha's questioning of Billy!
Agatha seems to be getting all the information to resurrect Nicolas, she seems to have a vague idea hell, the soul moved into a new body, but does not seem to know the details.
Always love watching your videos each week they give such an insight into the law and things we may have missed thank you so much for your videos, keep up the good work 🫶
When they were meeting up with the guy from Reddit, when he shows up in the trench coat, I said to my wife “that better be the beekeeper.” Then we I saw his curly hair, I said “no, wait, what if it’s Ralph Bohner.” So the “Bohnerrific” line made us laugh out loud.
A few thoughts while watching this video 1. It’s William Kaplin Not Billy Kaplin before Billy maximoff jumps into his body 2. The magician tarot card could be for William Kaplin he has a magic themed Bar mitzvah and has a lot of Houdini posters in his room 3. I don’t think the show on the radio attracted Billy to the car I think that was just reruns like we see on the tvs in wandavistion I think what attracted him with an empty body with no consciousness 4. If you pay attention to the audio in the death scene, you can hear Williams heartbeat fade away then we get The good nights and then we get the heartbeat of Billy it’s a brilliant audio edit that confirms Williams dead and Billy is now in that body without any words 5. Re-watching that death scene I have a bit of a theory about what happened after The good nights the Tommy cry is instinctual it’s the first thing he says and does when he comes into William’s body he doesn’t even look around my theory is he saw Tommy pass through the collapsing hex and a second later he goes through and I to the body of William Kaplin and that’s why he cry’s out for Tommy immediately 6. I don’t think Billy has a soul, but he does have a consciousness I read The “thanks for choosing me to be your mom line” as a thank you for sticking around and letting me be your mum I think it is a goodbye and she knows she probably will never see them again 7. I love the fact that when we see Billy‘s room in 2026, he hasn’t taken down or removed anything that William had he’s just added to it. I think it’s really sweet and shows that Billy really respects William especially as he became more gothy he could’ve easily taken everything down and put his stuff up, but he didn’t. He kept everything from William to honour his memory and the fact that this was his room before Billy came in 8. Deleted scenes are NOT canon in my eyes they were cut for whatever reason and because of that I view it as a fun extra scene 9. Billy is part of the coven and I think he is the black heart I definitely think he knows more than he’s letting on he’s probably researched the hell out of the witch Road 10. I think Billy losing his powers is because of the road Agatha has Alice’s powers but can’t use them on the road it puffed out last episode. Sorry that was such a long comment I just had to write down my thoughts and theories as I was watching thanks for watching let me know what you think
Fantastic commentary on the episode. Loved reading it all. I think you are spot on in your analysis. Thanks for taking the time to write all that out. Truly appreciate it!
@@AbitofEverything4U thanks is the first marvel show I’ve gone back and rewatched bits to check my thoughts and I’ve found so many small details the set designers are killing it and the death/car crash audio is brilliant editing and i said this to my boyfriend when watching it this is first show in the new approach (show bible etc) and while I enjoyed the marvel output post endgame its a clear step up and if shows can be this good going forward we will be eating good for the next few years ( and of course this is a testament to the people that worked on this show I just hope the new approach leads to a better show that’s more intentional and can weave its story through the series like this show has done so well)
I agree, this show was so well written. I think each time we go back to rewatch it, we'll find something new. This also gives me alot of hope for everything yet to come next year and beyond!
Thanks for sharing that you don't like trailer scenes being mentioned. I'm hearing that more and more from fellow MCU fans, so I've been trying my best to keep those elements out. Also, thanks for watching and leaving your positive feedback. Really appreciate it!
Hey, just for the record… As someone who grew up on Long Island… It’s really normal to pick a theme for your bar mitzvah. They always pick a theme. And they stick to it very strictly. So his theme was magic. Hence magic mitzvah lol
Oh, cool! That’s good to know that that type of thing happens. I thought the episode was great. It was fantastic representation for Jewish ceremonies and representation!
When it comes to Lillia. I think she prevented an apocalyptic event / What if ep. If the sigil wasn't done; William still would have died and Billy would still have jumped in. But Wanda would have known where he was AND she would have had the Darkhold and this point. So you would have had 2 God powered witchs being corrupted. Most likely leading to a war until one is left standing on a scorched earth and So on
Great point! Yeah, I mentioned that in my episode 1 and 2 breakdown, but I should have mentioned it again here. I totally agree...the body is just in her mind due to the detective spell. I'm just wondering if perhaps it represents more than just Wanda? Probably not...I do think Wanda fits best.
32:40 The black heart represents Billy (Jac confirmed), but it was open for interpretation. Mr. and Mrs. Hart were referred to with a black heart on the calendar in Wandavision ep1. Rio says "it's black, and it beats for you", which led Agatha to believe she was the black heart of the coven, and refused to invite her to the "party". Only for it to be Billy all along.
I've waited all day for this video!! (Not in a pressure kinda way but in a hype kinda way😂❤) thank you for your amazing work!! And I was really worried you would talk about the trailers. I do my best to not see any of them, cause I like that I have NO IDEA what happens next😂
That's great to hear you take that approach with the trailers. Yeah, I wanted to mention that up front to remove any concerns about it. Being surprised by what's to come is definitely the way to go!
@@AbitofEverything4U If MCU Billy is even a shred as cosmically significant as comic book Billy then Death should know to step off- he's not her property.
Great video, those interview questions were great insight, I’m especially curious about Alice (trailer spoilers ahead) who showed up in the trailer seemingly alive and well. I also really loved Wiccans backstory and seeing episode 1 from the real world was super cool. Can’t wait for more episodes
So this confirms my thoughts on the road being not as real as we are supposed so think. The rooms, the decoration, all is inspired by his real life. Even the people on the road are the ones he saw and remembered from before. It just feels like a dream or imagination to me. This would also explain Agatha's look when she saw the entrance to the road she was supposed to know from before. But why? Billy fooling Agatha in helping him? What do you think?
Good questions. I mean, the road definitely seems to pattern itself after the coven, as we've seen from challenges that were specific to Jen, Alice and Agatha so far. So it could also be pulling things from Billy's mind as well.
About the "Hour before time of death" line, Agatha and Rio were talking about the case and the "body" she found...she thought they might be connected and now we know how..car wreck-William/Billy...body-Wanda
37:14 I think it's just one of Agatha's skills to pick up on things. She's very observant and able to deduct things easily. Take ep1 of Wandavision in which she and Wanda go back in time to discover where Wanda's powers come from. Agatha immediately knows that Wanda as a kid unknowingly used a probability spell on the Stark bomb in the apartment. So it doesn't surprise me that she assumed it was Billy from the beginning, since she said something about him being able to break a spell of the Scarlet Witch. Then his mannerisms, which reminded her of Wanda, probably added to her assumption of him being Billy.
10:28 I don’t think Lillia can change the future but at the same time I also wonder what all she saw because she was seriously spooked and why put the sigil on? Maybe it was an attempt to save Billy so “THE GREEN Witch” couldn’t find him to take him away.
Something I find very fun to examine is why each writer is assigned their particular episode (Jac Schaeffer has spoken about this before, in both WandaVision and Agatha interviews, which I think is really cool), and for Episode 8 (looks to be in a morgue/the earth trial), it was written by Peter Cameron. He worked on WandaVision, Moon Knight, Werewolf By Night, and now this show, but beyond that, Jac noted in an interview with The Wrap on Friday that this same writer was the one who came up with the idea to have the car accident that would allow for the soul transfer. With this in mind, I can’t help but think that Episode 8 is gonna have to circle back around to this whole Billy/William reincarnation situation. (Also, Episode 9 was co-written by Laura Donney, who wrote Episode 8 of WandaVision, and now I’m wondering if this is where we’ll get those Agatha and Rio flashbacks from the Salem and/or Victorian eras, as shown in the trailers.)

But just as with science, I can appreciate the responsibility you must feel for that knowledge, and how that knowledge could be misused.
yeah I've freaked myself out with that a few times it's def better to be a little gentle. that darn tower gives me a heart attack
Or because he said dont tell me too much....telling someone they are about to die is possibly the biggest reveal u could give
I think it's simple. She saw him in the accident and waking up, but couldn't tell it was a new spirit; but like you said, she didn't wanna get specific and freak him out or create a self fulfilling prophecy.
@@bgblock83 Totally agree, who tells a 13 year old that they are going to die in a couple hours. She was clearly lying, did not want to scare him.
I don't think it's as deep as her being scarred by her traumatic past. I think it's just an older woman who knows that she can accurately predict the future not wanting to freak out a child on his birthday by telling him he's literally going to die in the near immediate future.

Seeing the interrogation scene from Billy’s perspective was so funny.
I agree, that was so much fun to see the other view of that interrogation.
Legit one of my favorite parts 😂 the pen, the funny dialogue. Solid gold.
9:42 Knight of wands pose was when Alice saved Agatha, it's also when Lilia said "knight of wands". She's not holding a wand, but her magic and pose is exactly the same at the KoW tarot card.
Can't wait to see the flashbacks explaining what happened with Rio and Agatha!
Small note: Mrs. Kaplan isn't the one primarily at fault for the accident, the other vehicle was straight up driving on the wrong side.
Yes, I was going to comment this. We drive on the right side of the road and the truck was clearly on the wrong side not Mrs Kaplan.
But why was the other vehicle on the wrong side? Maybe on purpose? 😮
also the vehicle suspiciously looks like the same vehicle that was in the parking garage when Billy and Eddie met with Ralph.
I think this is supported by the fact that Billy doesn’t know how to do the broomstick spell which all the other witches say is a basic spell
Excellent theory. Yeah, there is definitely a "tell" in there somewhere. You idea makes alot of sense.
I bet the digit working for both of his names means that their souls merged, and the morgue scenes will be Billy’s trial to resolve his identity issues.
Omg!! Ive never thought about that
I like that idea! And then Agatha may have to fight Rio when she comes to collect one or both of the souls!
Sigil?
@@AbitofEverything4U jac Schaefer said in an interview for this episode just released that William Kaplan is dead
You talked about Lilia causing this issue: Wanda couldn't find Tommy either. She's no Agnes O'Connor. 😂
The dog barked because Witches are notoriously Cat people.
lol! Great point!!!
Okay, but who names their dog Greg??
Yo. Nice catch.
Yeah, that was very a strange name for a dog!
Man I loved seeing the events of the first episode in Billy‘s perspective! Both Joe and Kathryn are such good actors. Can‘t wait for the last episodes.
I agree...it was so amazing to see both sides of Joe and Kathryn's interactions. I was just giddy comparing them and observing the differences.
18:44 I’ve said this to my son before because in many reincarnation beliefs the soul of the child actually chooses the parents.
Right...that's a very good point about reincarnation!
I love the idea of the coven being Billy's. That's so cool!
Debra Jo Rupp's imdb page mentioned 4 episodes when the show started, but her Hooligan line in this episode was her 4th appearance on the show
Good point...that last episode might have been her final one. Sigh.
I need to see the entire episode 1 from the actual perspective because was Agatha actually in her neighbors house when police chief turns out the light and says go home? That’s hilarious. Imagine having an ancient witch just in your dining room playing out True Crime Detective under a spell. 😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah, I would totally love a bonus episode devoted to showing us everything that actually happened in that first episode!
It's a good thing Billy ended up in a body that had a similar name to his own so he could keep using his real name. It would have been awkward if he wound up in a "Bob" or something like that 😆
Good point! Or, for that matter, would have been bad if he became a Ralph. lol!
i didn't even pick up on the fact that william was into magic and magic related movies and stuff until i saw someone point it out and it makes a lot of sense why billy went into him, because he was already inclined to the spiritual type of stuff...and then i think her calling 'teen' her familiar was a joke, but also could have been a reference for us because her literally had the twins on leashes at the end of wanda vision (like a pet)
Yeah, William K being into magic made it all fit so well. And that's a good point that Agatha literally had them with a leash around their necks!
He's definitely the black heart witch. His black heart earring gave it away immediately.
Which probably means that’s been a long term nickname that Eddie gave to billy because he probably gave him the black heart earring
Good point!
I agree with this.
💯
i just wanna say as a gay man, seeing an openly gay character that isnt just a stereotype really feels good especially in something as main stream as the mcu. i personally i love how he wears makeup and is edgy but is still overtly masculine and not yk, how most shows would protray a gay person, it really shows theyre not just writing him to be queer and its definitely something that would of helped alot growing up and im just happy people who might be confused on how to protray themselves can have this sort of rolemodel, it really is cool as hell.

Did you notice that the sigil could be a representation of the witches road? It has 5 points (trials) and two loops or twists…
Oh wow...that would be very cool if that was the case!
2 twists. I think we have (if this is true) seen one obviously (billy) so would the second one be Rio as death?
Good theories!
This was such a good episode and I'm glad it was a longer one. It gave us more time to flesh out Billy's backstory and entertain us too. That interrogation made my dad and I laugh so hard once we saw that Agatha's "gun" was the head of a garden hose 😂
Yeah, that was such a great episode. I agree, the interrogation scene was epic. Loved Ralph's scene as well!
Anyone noticed how Billy's hoodie is slowly turning red? I wonder if that means something, at least, apart from blue and red being his signature colors.
Interesting! I didn't notice that, but that's very cool!
I did notice, and I'm curious if it's ever going to be addressed in the narrative or if it's just a visual cue for the audience that never gets mentioned.
Let's hope it does get addressed...I'm very curious about it now!
I think the tell is Billy using his power under extreme emotional distress, which is how Wanda created Wanda Vision in West View.
Oh, now that's a good theory. I like that!
A nice detail is that Billy yelling “Tommy!” was what got his mom’s attention, possibly because she thought he was yelling “Mommy!”
Good point! That's a cool detail!
"Familiar" in witchcraft basically means a witch's pet, like a servant. That must be why Agatha treats Billy like a dog sometimes 😅😅😅
Okay, that makes sense. Agatha does call him her "pet" a few times. Better be careful, Agatha, or Billy might bite like that family dog. Yikes!
Also a fi.iliar has some level of protection and privilege to the witch. They can freely cross magic circles.
Billy will most likely kick her ass if he is another Scarlet Witch but he did hesitate to strike her at the end.
Yeah, the dynamic between Agatha and Billy will be very interesting from this point forward!
I love how everyone was theorising the hat man could be mephisto or someone integral to the plot and its just Ralph

Agreed...I don't think the body was really there. You nailed it, @JustMe-dc6ks !
Yes, Billy told Eddie it only happens when something affects someone he cares.
Alice was like an older sister to him.
Great point! I was focusing that line on his telepathy, but it might also relate to his ability to cast his magic as well.
Jac, not Jack 😅
Could the tell be that Billy is using his subconscious to manifest/reality warp the witches road and Agatha having been on the witches road realizes this. The line in episode three where Billy says, “so this is the (witches) road?”
And Agatha replies “Yes it suits you.” Meaning the design or style fits Billy.
This opens the possibility that they are or are not actually on “the road”.
Is the road a psychological manifestation in order to deal with the fact that Tommy is dead or maybe Billy’s power just remakes the road in his image.
Either way there are many things on the road that are part of Billy’s room.
@@BrokenSoulConfession Yeah… voice to text. I definitely remember her name… because it is my name too 😉

Cool theory! I really do love that Tower card. So much going on with it!
Maybe the two figures in the tower card are for Billy and William, and the lightning bolt is Wanda disrupting both of their lives
I hope we find out more about the Tower card when Lilia does her tarot reading in the next episode!
Good point...that was an even better example of the pose. But I do love that holding the broom resembles that image.
Yes! And that's when Lillia named the card.
Right!
We'll find out soon!
if someone had a near death in Westview, that might have been a similar situation to Billy & this is where Tommy ended up
Oh, now that's an interesting idea!
@@JustMe-dc6ks The witches didn't know that
Yeah, the dynamic between Agatha and Billy will be very interesting from this point forward!
That was a little rushed. 😂
Hopefully he’d been researching witchcraft before then.
I mean, Billy has been pretending to be clueless all these times. He probably just said that to win over or impress Agatha
I wonder if Billy had been researching for awhile. We only saw that one time that he was researching, but perhaps he did alot of research we don't see? But yeah, it's a very good question!

Sorry for my ignorance of the right words to use.
okay so I have some really wild and out-there theories, which probably aren't gonna be true but i think they're kinda fun:
I feel like there's something yet to be revealed regarding why Rio is around, why she and Billy appeared at Agatha's place at around the same time very coincidentally, and most importantly how she feels about Billy. (and perhaps Tommy's too? since it's been hinted that he might be retrievable at the end of the road?)
Or maybe, if your theory of Agatha helping Rio claim souls by causing major disasters and deaths is correct ot any extent, then could it be that that's the reason why Rio told her "that boy isn't yours"? as to imply that he, or rather his soul, is to be claimed by her? is Agatha by any chance still abiding by that relationship of providing her souls, in this case trying to provide her Billy?
Good point...yeah, I wonder if that will figure into things in the future!
Billy probably heard his "new" parents thoughts and was scared, because wanda and vision used to fight so much in wandavision!
I love that so much...I hope they release that deleted scene!
Good point...Yeah, I definitely blame the Darkhold first and foremost and I can't wait to see what happened to Tommy!
That's a very cool theory that Eddie is being used by Rio!
Right! Yeah, I wonder if that's a clever callback to that line by Rhodey. If so, then chef's kiss to the writers!
33:50 Rio is not there. The pizza box she hand Agatha is just a board game.
Good catch!
Strange clothes Agatha different than episode 1 but even Agatha delusion in Wanda spell, her clothes should be same as reality
That's a good point...I wonder if we'll learn more about what was really happening in that detective spell!
A few thoughts I have (this’ll be a long one, so bear with me):
Good points! Yeah, that's a good analogy to Dr. Strange in Infinity War!
Jac Schaeffer and her team deserve so much praise!! I love the level of detail, the red herrings in the narrative, but also the overall cohesiveness and presentation of both WandaVision aswell as Agatha All Along. It's just captivating. Wish more MCU shows would be on that quality.
I agree...this was so well written. Mega-kudos to Schaeffer and everyone involved!
Assuming they do have some sort of relationship, I’m curious if he’ll make an appearance in the show
What a fun idea. I would love it if they were related!
Eddie (or Teddie) talking about the avengers training test, reminded me of Kamala Kahn asking if her swapping with Monica was an avengers test in The Marvels.
Niiiice!
Niiiiice! Those are some good theories for why Billy is the "familiar".
On one of the westview papers, the first paragraph mentions "vice". I wonder if it refers to the vice president.
Good theory!
I think now were probably at some point going to see Rio’s POV for the first ep. Probably not a full episode, but I imagine after a big reveal, the following episode Cold Opens with the Events of Ep1, condensed, from Rio’s POV
I agree...we really need a Rio POV for that first episode. I bet it's gonna be amazing!
Doesn’t look like she was physically present until the fight after Agatha’s freed from the illusion.
That's a good theory!
14:47 Could be wrong but I believe that truck was driving on the wrong side of the road.
Very good theory...I could definitely see that being the case!
Yeah, Billy's room was amazing. So many cool items in there. And I totally missed Ralph's blu ray collection. Nice catch. That is hilarious!
22:24 Here's a fun connection between The Goonies and the MCU. It was the film debut of Josh Brolin, who would later play Thanos, and also starred Ke Huy Quan (Ouroboros in Loki).
Niiiiiiice! I love that connection!
So, I feel so dumb about the sigil it was in front of our eyes all this time but I love that the show still surprises us every week, at the end it was Lilia all along 😅
I love that it was Lilia it makes totally sense, maybe she saw all of the things that happen in MOM, well in Loki we see that "now" everyone had free will but there are some things that had to happen, maybe the Darkhold has to be destroyed and if Wanda know that her kids are alive maybe that wouldn't happened.
Ah! Okay, that would make perfect sense. Nice call!
Appreciate you seperating the trailer from breakdowns. I stopped watching movie trailers a while bsck because i noticed just how spoiler they can get.
Yep, I hear that more and more these days. So I've been trying my best to avoid any trailer info in the breakdowns. Thanks for sharing that!
I love this show lol
Great video as always friend!!
Great points about Lilia. I agree, it seems she made the right choice in giving her answers to William as she did. Can't wait for her to see Billy again. That's gonna be wild! And yeah, the mysteries in this show are so compelling. The next episode can't come soon enough!
Here are some of my theories:
1) Agatha and Teen first encounter Wanda's plot:
- Teen said: "I'm over here" after Agatha gave him a suspicious look :"Oh are you?"
-> may be she started to doubt his identity relating to Wanda this moment
-> what does he mean by "over here". Is it just simply his parking car, or a whole house? He's in Eastview originally, how did he pull off a house here? Did he mind control a civillian there?
2) Agatha - Rio relationship:
- Does Agatha actively try to attend tragic events to find a young enough and suitable body for his son?
- Did Agatha kill so much that even Death herself is impressed and fell in love with her?
- Did they make a pact/deal? That's why Agatha have to constantly kill people to finish her task? In that light, the wya she keeps denying telling the truth about her horrible past so people would be scared enough to stay away from her, so no one has to die?
3) Some of the Ballad Lyrics:
- "Darkest hour, wake thy power/ Earthly and Divine" (E5)
-> So Rio Earth magic did have to wake here cause she had to use it to collect Alice's body
-> does it mean Billy's magic is Divine in nature, or doed it still count as Chaos?
- "Blood and tears and bones"
-> i view this as ingredients for a resurrection spell. Billy already has Wanda's blood. Jusf Tears and Bones left. Maybe the Jane Doe's corpse would help in that.
(I got this theory before watching E6, but may be it still works out somehow for Tommy)
4) Lilia's scene:
- What she saw when reading palm may be was either too overwhelming for the kid, or, was forbidden for even a sheer to witness. So to avoid trepassing the rule and the consequences, she put on the sigil for both her and Billy to protect each other.
- i wonder if Lilia has been using sigils for so long so she doesnt have to remember super painful events. (But this could be wrong 'cause in E3, her hallucination was still quite vivid)
- Why cant Death punish Billy right away but kind of waiting?
-> does Death count as a witch? It makes sense for Wanda to not sense Billy cause of the sigil, but not for Death i suppose, she's cosmic being, a witch spell could hardly prevent her. Lilia's sigil may have more meanings than just that.
5) "All roads lead to me":
- Is Death the reason no witches have ever finished the Road. They are all dead under her hands? (May be that's why only Agatha could survive cause she already made a deal with Death)
6) Jane Doe's Corpse:
- In terms of the detective scene, we've got Agatha's POV, Billy's POV. There are the neighbor's and Rio's POV left to see, i cant wait.
- is the body a trade from Wanda? Did she subconsciously offer her body in exchange for William's body so Death would leave Billy's soul alone?
7) The black heart:
- Agatha said: Every witch with a beating heart can hear you now"
-> Can Death feel Billy trespassing deed now?
Cool...I didn't know that. Thanks for sharing all that!
Wow, there’s a lot of stuff in these episodes that just fly over my head.
Yeah, I thought that was great. Happy to see them subtly indicating that we are indeed in 2026!
Wanda copied the real souls of her corporeal children from throughout the multi-universe and brought them inside the hex . Wanda Vision established Wanda may not be able to traverse the multiverse physically but her CMBR energy allows her to pull things into her hex from the Multiverse .
That's a great way to describe Wanda's hex. Love it!
@@AbitofEverything4Ulastly Wanda pulled her and Vision’s costumes (Halloween ) from the comics that exist in our reality .
Man, this is getting me all the more excited for the final 3 episodes!
Man. I’m just going to retype what I wrote before. But if Liliah gets her powers super charged from the road and is able to actually remember everything and see the past present and future.. she would be so powerful 😭
I agree...Lilia has the potential to be very, very powerful!
We DO know Rio was really there for the fight in episode 1 because the front door really was blasted off the house, and because Billy recognizes Rio when she gets summoned to the road "The scary but charismatic lady is back."
"I had a feeling when we first met." She might be lying, but I think she's being honest. She may well have spent the first few trials thinking "he's probably Wanda's kid... but what if he's really my Nicky?"
I am extremely curious what she means about "The same tell." I hope that gets explained.
2. Good point about The Black Cauldron and witches
3. Yeah, I suspect Eddie isn’t Teddy and I do wonder if Teddy willl turn out to be a pawn in all of this
4. I like your points about Billy Maximoff adopting new parents in the Kaplans
Great theories...that all makes perfect sense!
35:40 Did you see how Billy's finger tips turned black for a second there when casting the spell to free Agatha? Could that be an indication that the spell he used may have been copied or stemming from the Darkhold somehow? And could this imply that there might still be ecxerpts of the Darkhold somewhere?
Oh, how interesting. I'll have to go back and watch that scene again. That would be wild if Billy was using spells from the Darkhold!
I have been waiting for your video, let's go! My apologies for the long post! Take your time reading:
So far starters, I think it was an amazing twist that Lilia was the one to cast the sigil.
Yeah, I agree...I think Agatha is slowly gathering everything she needs to bring back Nicholas. Wonder if she'll ultimately succeed?
Always love watching your videos each week they give such an insight into the law and things we may have missed thank you so much for your videos, keep up the good work 🫶
Thanks...that's so nice of you to say. I am truly loving this show. I suspect the last three episodes will be incredible!
Yeah, I was wondering if we'd get a bee keeper appearance. But it was so great to have Ralph return. Such a funny scene!
A few thoughts while watching this video
1. It’s William Kaplin Not Billy Kaplin before Billy maximoff jumps into his body
2. The magician tarot card could be for William Kaplin he has a magic themed Bar mitzvah and has a lot of Houdini posters in his room
3. I don’t think the show on the radio attracted Billy to the car I think that was just reruns like we see on the tvs in wandavistion I think what attracted him with an empty body with no consciousness
4. If you pay attention to the audio in the death scene, you can hear Williams heartbeat fade away then we get The good nights and then we get the heartbeat of Billy it’s a brilliant audio edit that confirms Williams dead and Billy is now in that body without any words
5. Re-watching that death scene I have a bit of a theory about what happened after The good nights the Tommy cry is instinctual it’s the first thing he says and does when he comes into William’s body he doesn’t even look around my theory is he saw Tommy pass through the collapsing hex and a second later he goes through and I to the body of William Kaplin and that’s why he cry’s out for Tommy immediately
6. I don’t think Billy has a soul, but he does have a consciousness I read The “thanks for choosing me to be your mom line” as a thank you for sticking around and letting me be your mum I think it is a goodbye and she knows she probably will never see them again
7. He kept everything from William to honour his memory and the fact that this was his room before Billy came in
8. Deleted scenes are NOT canon in my eyes they were cut for whatever reason and because of that I view it as a fun extra scene
9. Billy is part of the coven and I think he is the black heart I definitely think he knows more than he’s letting on he’s probably researched the hell out of the witch Road
10. I think Billy losing his powers is because of the road Agatha has Alice’s powers but can’t use them on the road it puffed out last episode.
Sorry that was such a long comment I just had to write down my thoughts and theories as I was watching thanks for watching let me know what you think
Damn. I 100% agree.
Thank you for leaving trailer discussion out of the episode breakdowns, I really appreciate it. Love your videos, glad you make them!! :)
Most likely leading to a war until one is left standing on a scorched earth and So on
Good point! Lilia may indeed be the GOAT hero of the series!
Thanks for the shoutout again😊
Really looking forward to the next episode in a couple of hours!
Very happy to shout you out. Can't wait for the next episode!
I'm pretty sure there's no body. Just Agatha imagines it as Wanda's. It's just a yard with flowers. I don't think it's relevant.
Great point! Yeah, I mentioned that in my episode 1 and 2 breakdown, but I should have mentioned it again here. I totally agree...the body is just in her mind due to the detective spell. I'm just wondering if perhaps it represents more than just Wanda? Probably not...I do think Wanda fits best.
i really appreciate your level of detail in these videos, especially how you are checking back on wandavision to see how things line up.
Thanks! I am loving this series so far and having a great time breaking it down. I really appreciate you watching and sharing your positive feedback!
I agree...those were some very clever misdirects about the black heart. Loved the mysteries in the show!
If Rio is Death and is there for bodies, you’d think she’d be after Billy’s body since he died.
Yep, I'm getting worried for Billy!
@@AbitofEverything4U If MCU Billy is even a shred as cosmically significant as comic book Billy then Death should know to step off- he's not her property.
Very true...that might be why Death / Rio is so frustrated with Billy.
Great video, those interview questions were great insight, I’m especially curious about Alice (trailer spoilers ahead) who showed up in the trailer seemingly alive and well.
I also really loved Wiccans backstory and seeing episode 1 from the real world was super cool. Can’t wait for more episodes
Yeah, this has been such a fantastic series. I never would’ve guessed it could be this good!
Would William serve as Billy Maximof's "familiar" since he has no way over his life?
Interesting thought!
YES! I’ve been waiting for this!
Thanks! I absolutely loved this episode. Soooo good!
Love this channel! Your analysis is really well done!
Thanks, really appreciate the kind words!
I have tried mentioning this before but it has not shown up.
If you read the second paragraph of the release spell it states that the item used " should not be from someone recently deceased as that will corrupt the spell. Be careful not to use an item that shares energy with an additional person or an item belonging to many. "
The locket not only has someone else's hair in it, but it also belonged to her mother.
I have not seen anyone mention this at all.
Good catch! I wonder if it isn't an issue since Evanora died so long ago?
@AbitofEverything4U not sure, but I have a feeling we will find out soon. ❤
Indeed!
About the "Hour before time of death" line, Agatha and Rio were talking about the case and the "body" she found...she thought they might be connected and now we know how..car wreck-William/Billy...body-Wanda
Very true...that does indeed fit nicely!
Good point! Agatha is very perceptive.
Great job on the episode!!! Keep up the work 👍🏻
Thanks so much! Really appreciate the positive feedback!
This is like New Rockstars level analysis! Keep it going I hope you get a bigger audience!
Thanks! Really appreciate the words of encouragement. New Rockstars is a fantastic channel!
10:28 I don’t think Lillia can change the future but at the same time I also wonder what all she saw because she was seriously spooked and why put the sigil on? Maybe it was an attempt to save Billy so “THE GREEN Witch” couldn’t find him to take him away.
Yeah, I wonder if Lilia was saving Billy from Rio more than anything else.
Very cool analysis of the episode storylines. I love your idea of basing it upon who the writer is. I think you are spot on!
