Strange thing - my pal Marty said he got reverb the whole video....and funny thing is, I did too...but only when i plugged headphones into my PC, every other source, no reverb. Anyone else have this issue?
I would have loved the AME2 without that echo/reverb in the monitoring. Couldn’t agree more, only thing holding these back from me recommending these of the monitoring to the people that it matters. I will say, I must have gotten lucky with my SC3, I have no latency/echo at all on mine, but don’t like how quiet the monitoring is.
I've seen on many of these reviews about using a smartphone for music, but can you actually bring in a phone call (such as a call-in) for a two-person podcast with one person on the XLR microphone and the other person on the phone call? Does the TRRS cable provide the capability for the person on the phone to hear you? Thanks to anyone that answers.
How are the preamps on this AMC2 Neo? I'm looking to upgrade from my Teyun Q12 which you also tested, it has a bit of high-pitched whine that doesn't go away (regardless of gain level), will the AMC2 Neo give me quieter noise floor?
Overall looks good, I really wish that Maono make a 24 bits interface and includes a mute button, a feature that I really like from the fifine SC3. The headphones reverb seems like a signature across maono interfaces.
It's a signature across all the B Tier brands sadly..... But one day they will hear us. Good thought on the mute button... That's a huge feature in my opinion
They have different features, Maono has a higher gain of 60dB and 2-level noise reduction for audio quality, and Bluetooth input, which Fifine does not have. Which one is more suitable depends on what features we pay attention to.
@@ObscureMics it’s all about budget and what you can afford. Not all work arounds are perfect but saving money for better equipment gotta start someware
The line outs DO have the same function as far as i know..............I cant remember but whatever outs say podcast or record out, I think are TRRS outs/ins
Love the shirt! Its mega man meets saved by the bell. So the direct monitoring button doesnt do latency free monitoring? Thats kinda meh. I mean for $60 seems pretty clean for a solo casting gig. The side chain thing is tastefully done.
Thats a disappointment i bought this hoping there was no delay on your voice monitoring my current setup also has a delay but its horrific where it throws me off speaking im hoping the latency isnt too bad

Highly appreciated
@@ObscureMics I get so much entertainment from you, dude. Half the time, I don't even have to care much about what is being reviewed! Least I could do
Any idea why I'm not getting any sound in my headphones? Everything is plugged in as it should be into my pc.
Thank you for this review!
Thanks for watching!

Mine was SLIGHT on the sc3.... But ultimately still there. I love this little device as long as I don't need to wear headphones lol

Correct!
I am a big fan of Maono and have always trusted Maono's products. I have a lot of their products at home right now. Thank you for your recommendation!
They make some great stuff for the money
Maono has been naking good podcast mixers for a while now so I'm not surprised this is decent

I believe it will, but maybe not anything super substantial

@@janeschwarzenegger8796 Agree, and Maono still not have a valuable mute button. For an entry level is fine any of those. I prefer the vocaster.
Great guitar riff!
I’d love to hear the track when it’s finished.
Appreciate it! You are the first and only to say that lol
If you are going to buy 1 of this maono what you will choose between neo c2 and this manono e 2 ? What of the 2 you will choose ?
Neo
Frankly, I can't decide between the Fifine or the Maono. The SC3 has a mute button and live monitoring, but the NEO has bluetooth and side chain.
Personally... I'd hold out if possible... Very possible on of them release something soon that does it all
these budget interfaces are so capable now these days. Mic preamp is so awesome at that price point.
Its nuts....just a handful of years ago, a good preamp cost a LOT
yes the preamp is what i also like about maono mixer😃
It would be handy if you could load the pads by drag and drop. Handled the Shure just Fifine. 😉
Easy work around for latency issues. Use a mic ie Samson Q2u or any other mic with direct headphone monitoring.
Well yeah.... But then what's the point of having an interface that you are confined to using only a few mics with?
@@ObscureMics it’s all about budget and what you can afford. Not all work arounds are perfect but saving money for better equipment gotta start someware
No argument here on that!
I'm trying to figure out how to use the NEO on a dual PC stream setup, havin a hard time if you have any suggestions. Hope all is well
Also, on my unit it says "stream out" instead of line out, do the headphones and line out ports have the exact same function?
The line outs DO have the same function as far as i know..............I cant remember but whatever outs say podcast or record out, I think are TRRS outs/ins
I wish I had waited just a little longer to see your response😢
I ordered it and it was shipped with maono pd100
You may be happy with it though!
Better than the FiFine Audio Mixer?
It's debatable... But for me... It is.
I hear slight reverb/echo throughout the entire video. Is it the same that you heard while monitoring? Is no one else noticing it?
Hmmmm. Good ear. Now I need to throw on some headphones
@@ObscureMics Let me know if you hear it. Wondering if it's me or something on my end.

Who doesn't love mega man! Yeah, i actually dont monitor when im doing a podcast, so this fits the bill for on the go
I just want a budget-friendly version of the Rodecaster Duo, with two XLR inputs, two headphone outputs, a coupla pads, and some EQ sliders.
Meeeee too. Someone is going to do it at some point. Hopefully with no MAJOR drawbacks. Minor I can handle
I know Maonocaster AM100, two XLR inputs and two headphone outputs, custom pads
Why am I getting a lot of reverb in my headphones?
That's the interface as I spoke of in the video
Is it worth or I should go with fifine sc3w ????
I personally prefer the Fifine.
Not bad for what it costs. And it seems to have a buttload of gain.
It does. Absolutely no issue driving anything
Thanks ❤
You are most welcome
Darth Vader Jr. 🤣 Looks pretty slick 👍 I think it sounds pretty decent and for the price....
Yeah it's definitely solid enough for most🚀
Please help me Neo or New Ps22 interface?
I'll say ps22 if you use condensers and use a mic booster with dynamics
Whats better the ame2 or this
Kinda like this more!
I was told the ame2 had more things built 🤔strange
Maono's new products are really surprising.
Just need to put a little more money into the headphone monitoring.
Mega Man 🗣️💪😎 Nice Shirt
Pew pew!
Love the shirt.
Pew pew !
C2neo or Ps22?
22
@@ObscureMics thank you
@mixflawpjb3142 thanks for watching
These companies are getting closer and closer to nailing it (in the budget category anyway). More baby voice please. LOL! 😂
lol NO! NO BABY VOICE
😂@@ObscureMics
Is there a mute button?
One of the things it lacks
Preety good for the price I may say
Great name!
@@ObscureMics Thank You Sir. I will name my Son Senheizer and my Daughter Lewitta as well.

It blows my mind that companies even let this happen
Man, aaaaaalmost there
just give us the damn latency free monitoring already, otherwise this is such a good buy
PLEASE
i need this
no real time monitoring is a deal braker for me
Always a deal breaker
