I'm in metro Atlanta and two days ago I found out that my voting eligibility has been "Challenged". I just checked the Georgia "My Voter Page" in July and everything was fine. So, STAY ON TOP OF THINGS, especially in Georgia with the new EASY procedure to challenge voter eligibility! If you're challenged and wait until October to sort it out, you may be too late because you have to register 31 or more days before the election in order to vote in it!
Whatever is driving these people does not give them exception. They need to be stopped before the November election. They need to be investigated, and all perpetrators need to be held accountable. Elections are run by the states and are subject to state laws. A President can not pardon people for state crimes. A President could pardon someone for Federal Civil Rights violations.

My son has registered to vote for the first time in Georgia and our County elections supervisor 'lost' his registration. Had we not checked, he would have showed up at the polls and not been recognized as a registered voter. We're now having to get him registered again and at the same time ensuring that he isn't accused of registering twice.

@@robinantonio8870- not sure where you are from, but as an Aussie we have a preferential voting System here in Australia which in short means while 1 candidate can get more votes than the rest, it depends if that 1 candidate has enough votes to win, if not then candidates with the least votes have their preferences spread as per the numbers on the ballot 3 and below until a candidate gets enough votes, this essentially means that we here in Australia possibly on the verge of ending our 2 party system and bringing some accountability, responsibility and transparency back into our govts, Meanwhile less blame game between our states and federal and between the 2 traditional sides of our political system (Labor and liberal). Also with the end of the 2 party system- gone would be the days of people just blindly holding their nose so to speak and voting for a certain candidate, or party. I moved to Georgia 3 years ago. They send me an application for voting by mail. I am going in person even if i have to wait in line all day. Nobody is going to steal my vote for Harris/Walz.

There should be a bill that states that a president can not pardon anyone convicted of any crime that is political or affects the election of political candidates .
Elections are run by the states and are subject to state laws. A President can not pardon people for state crimes. A President could pardon
someone for Federal Civil Rights violations.

My son has registered to vote for the first time in Georgia and our County elections supervisor 'lost' his registration. Had we not checked, he would have showed up at the polls and not been recognized as a registered voter. We're now having to get him registered again and at the same time ensuring that he isn't accused of registering twice.

That's one of the highlights Marc Elias of the Democracy Docket has made, the purging of registered voters. It wasn't lost, it was purged, and it's happening to the newly registered, the elderly, and gerrymandered voters. It's happening in a lot of states where the GOP has infiltrated the elections boards and oversight committees. He says to make sure you are registered and check on a weekly basis to verify you are still registered.

One of the weird thing about the US election is that every state can have their own rules on election, even in the federal election. As a non-US, I'm really confused.
@@robinantonio8870- not sure where you are from, but as an Aussie we have a preferential voting System here in Australia which in short means while 1 candidate can get more votes than the rest, it depends if that 1 candidate has enough votes to win, if not then candidates with the least votes have their preferences spread as per the numbers on the ballot 3 and below until a candidate gets enough votes, this essentially means that we here in Australia possibly on the verge of ending our 2 party system and bringing some accountability, responsibility and transparency back into our govts,
Meanwhile less blame game between our states and federal and between the 2 traditional sides of our political system (Labor and liberal). Also with the end of the 2 party system- gone would be the days of people just blindly holding their nose so to speak and voting for a certain candidate, or party.

I moved to Georgia 3 years ago. They send me an application for voting by mail. I am going in person even if i have to wait in line all day. Nobody is going to steal my vote for Harris/Walz.

I'm doing the same in Arizona. I live in a county where the supervisors refused to certify the votes, and one plans to hand count every vote this time. I took my mail-in ballot over in person, and it was put in a lockbox, to be counted later. I'm going to vote electronically, this time!

There are lots and lots of them ongoing continually, and there have been for many years. Problem is it's hard to keep up with all the illegal stuff they do, and the lawfirms that specialize in these cases only have so much manpower. You'd need a literal army of lawyers to litigate all the suits that should by rights be filed against the GOP.
