    We just did Finns and Things plus Hells Gate last week. Such an awesome place. That was our first time to Moab and we actually enjoyed it more than the San Juan mountains which we have been to 6 years in a row.

    Great video and awesome location.
    Assuming I discerned the location with Google Earth, can you tell me in your opinion if the road to this point would be accessible to a Toyota Tacoma Offroad 4x4 with 34" tires? I see you run a pretty heavily modded Jeep so I suspect you have some sense of what's possible, and obviously there are no guarantees.

    • @GetOverItOutdoors
      @GetOverItOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I think you’d have no problem getting out there. There’s just some off camber ruts that are probably the most challenging. It’s been almost 2yrs since we’ve been so the trail may have changed some. Pinstripes and some tight weaving thru some trees and bushes are some other obstacles to be aware of.
      One person last year said there was now a no camping sign but I have not verified that. You might want to check with local BLM or Forest Service before making the trek out.
      Thanks for watching and commenting! Enjoy the journey

    Heading out there soon and looking to avoid crowds. I have a stock Subie Forester with A/T tires and 8.7 inches of clearance. Not looking for the location, I think I can figure this one out with Google Earth and your viewpoint of Castle Valley. Do you think after making the ride this type of SUV could make it?

    • @GetOverItOutdoors
      @GetOverItOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think so. There’s no real difficult rock obstacles just a small rocks that are more annoying that’s anything. There are some rutted parts but if you line yourself up right it will be fine. It does get tight in some areas so pinstripes are a possibility. Please let me know how it comes out for you if you do head out there!

    • @GetOverItOutdoors
      @GetOverItOutdoors  13 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hello, I had a little experience with basic off-roading before this. We done a lot of trails and wheeling in CO. Like Black Bear Pass, Imogene Pass and so forth, But nothing like this or anything else you might find in Moab. Fins and Things is a great trail to get started on when expanding your rock crawling knowledge and skill. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    • @GetOverItOutdoors

      It is very doable. I don't think I ever used my lockers. It tests your nerves more than anything with some of the climbs and drop-offs
