incredible crash from John Scofield at 4.28 … Steve Swallow wonders where goes John Scofield while Bill Stewart has a good laugh… understanding his crash, John decides to shorten the piece… Rare magnificient crash which will not go unnoticed for a hardened auditor. Even an exceptional musician is not shielded from musical wanderings… Rare….
Zz M with Sco the phrase "tone is in your fingers" is true. I've seen him on Ac30s, Mesa, Deluxe reverb; his signature Ibanez, Ibanez Tele, Gibson etc and he always sounds amazing. I had the pleasure to attend one of his workshops and was blown away with his sound through a really crapy amp. His knowledge, groove, phrasing and emotional content are amazing through any piece of gear, a true master!
Beautiful instrumental interpretation of this incredible Eddie Arnold song. And some of the best "guitar faces" ever.
What an ear! What finesse! What an artist!
GREAT SCOFIELD. THANKS FOR YOUR WONDERFUL MUSIC!!!!!!
I was into the heavy metal when I was young (1980s) but today I just want to hear and play this 👏🏼😑
One of my favorite songs by one of my favorite guitarist!

Love it!!!! Thanks for sharing!!
It’s not a Ray Charles composition, Cindy Walker wrote this. Best to get the credits correct!
It’s Steve swallow who forgets what part of the song they’re up to not John Schofield. John Scofield is totally in the correct place
fantástico!!

First time I seem to see John Scofield doing bends.
