They have done one of the worst thing that an organization, with hope of winning a championship, could've possibly do to themselves, and that was to revamped an entire roster. There were no continuity of what they were known for since Vogel became a part of the organization. They were one of the better defensive team in the league. Not anymore. They have an aging, now injury prone, Superstar in LeBron James who used to carry mediocre teams, and the operative words here is USED TO, perhaps is not expecting to pull that heroic shit off ever again in his twilight years.
