I've followed your build from the beginning thru current tent and travel and discovery videos. I have truly enjoyed all the progress with the ZJ and your website and build info. You and your channel have come a long way, all positive. Thx! 👍
That’s our pig! He broke out of our fence about a year ago and never came back. Good to know nothing happened to him and we know where to search now! We live in Pearce not too far from where he is at in the video.
Wow -- I can honestly say this comment was the last thing I expected to see... haha. Just for reference this video was shot in Nov. 2021, so a while back -- but I hope he's doing well and you can still find him. Let me know how it goes!
Thank you for watching! This area is certainly special as you know. The coin was really neat to see. From what I understand, it will be put on display alongside the other artifacts found in the area at the lounge area.
Scotty, excellent research on the Middlemarch mine. It's always surprising how and from where investors get involved in these mining adventures, and how often they bloom and then fade, only to 'rise from the ashes' so to speak for the next gang. Courtland was most interesting as well, and I have not explored that area much at all. An aside: that was not a pig you saw around 10:30, but a javelina. A nasty customer if cornered, but I think you likely knew that.
Thank you, Hidden Arizona! It is always fascinating to learn about the ownership/operating trials and tribulations an old mine would go through before either fully fading away or striking it rich. Certainly very different paths between the Middlemarch & Courtland, yet they both ended up the same in the end. And thanks for the clarification on the javelina. I'm glad I kept on moving, I've heard a few stories about their "friendliness"!
I’d be interested in finding any employment rosters. My 2nd great grandfather, Union Calvary with son moved from Missouri to Cochise county shortly after the war. The Missouri Mine looks like the kind of thing which would have motivated the move. They would eventually land in Douglas.
Nice job. New subscriber here. Any comments on your rooftop tent? What sidearm are you carrying? In the Gleeson section, you missed the “Prisoner tree and cable “ used prior to the jail being built. Hello, I'm Ali from Libya. Can I get the full size diagram of the front and rear bumper manufacturing for the 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee from after you, please, because I am from Libya and I can't buy the bumper because it costs a lot because of its weight, and I can't pay for it. Could you please send me the sizes? I will be thankful for you
Very well done! Enjoy the history lesson. Love Dirt👍
Thank you! Learning about the history along the way makes the journey more fun.

Your videos inspire me to get out there. They also prove how much overlanding there is to do in the copper state.
That's awesome, Daniel. There is so much out there if you look for it. Thank you for watching!
What a great journey so far, Scotty! I look forward to part no. 4!

Great video. I was at many of the same locations last year. Finding the coin was a lucky find!

Random Pig? More like Pig Boss!
He certainly had reached boss status. I wasn't going to mess with him!
Good god man, do you ever break a sweat and actually hike anywhere?
10:27, A domestic pig?
That was my first thought, but I'm not sure. Someone else commented that it was a javelina.
Do you know the location of knock sensor on the 95 grand cherokee?
Hey Julio: Me too!!🤣🍑
Did you get to keep the nickel?
I did not. But from what I understand it will be displayed alongside the other artifacts in the outdoor lounge area at Courtland.
