Fun process with some engineering issues. 1- all of the threaded rod shafts will cut through, and/or bind and grind on your sleaves in remarkably little time. Weld some clean rod to the threaded rod. The seat is set back directly over the rear hub....tippy, and focusing your load stress to a smaller area. Push the front fork angle more upright to put the handle bars and seat further forward. Make the hubs out of hard wood and wider to allow for the spokes to be morticed and tenoned.

I noticed while making the wheels the operator of the router went against the grain several times and split the timber and so ruining the piece they were working on and with a good bit of editing the camera quickly moving elsewhere.
Remembering that it is just for decoration. It cannot be used as a means of human locomotion.

Молодец мастер.Большой труд конечно.Но чтобы кататься на нём,как на обычном велосипеде не пойдёт.
C'est un exercice amusant mais il est impossible de rouler avec ce vélo, même sur une moquette : les roues ne tournent pas rond, elles ont du saut et du voile, et l'angle de chasse de la fourche rendrait les virages difficiles, la selle ferait les délices d'un fakir masochiste, il n'y a pas de freins, ce vélo très fragile n'est pas du tout fonctionnel.
Tant qu'à faire, pourquoi ne pas faire des axes en bois, des pédales en bois, des pignons en bois, une chaîne en bois et un freinage sur la jante avant avec un patin de bois ? Ce serait plus cohérent.
Il serait aussi possible d'en faire une draisienne en supprimant la transmission, ce serait moins compliqué.
Moi, ce que j'en dis...

изначально идея показалась заманчивой, я все ждал когда дело дойдет до самого главного, а именно цепи )))))))) и что я увидел? ХАЛТУРА ))))))))) поступил как обычно, как настоящий китаец )))))))) Я так понимаю решил деревянный, никакие композиты не допустимы! ))))))) Тема раскрыта не полностью и требует исправления ))))))))) И мне показалось, что наклон передней вилки какой то странный ))))))
Такая объёмная и трудозатратная работа, и надо же, вклеить такие дешевые втулки.... Прям обидно стало за пацанов.

Stunning and brilliant workmanship, with artistic features and such a harmonious and musical relation between the parts. Nothing less but full marks for that implementation.
I have to reduce the marks a little. for the engineering design ............... (1) for using a set square as a hammer------ (2) the steering shaft is not strong enough .......(3) and of greatest concern is that while very artistic , the front wheel has got the wrong geometry and the projection of the steering shaft to the ground is too far ahead of the point of contact of the front wheel on the ground. That geometry will lead to instability of the steering. One can clearly see this instability at 35:17, when the bicycle is heeled over and the front wheel goes unstable to ne side, all because the projection point of the steering shaft on the ground is far ahead of the contact point of the wheel with the ground.
There are many manners in which to get the projection of the steering axis closer to the contact point of the wheel by "bending the front fork system" or an equivalent to the telescopic front steering in motorcycles. This is a very important feature of the geometry in bicycles, motorcycles and cars, as a " self steering system may be obtained with the right front steering geometry. steering
This bicycle will never do that safely and it could be very dangerous . Please look into the front steering angle of a good bicycle with self steering and automatically following the lean to one side when turning. For the rest of the work I offer my hearty congratulations. Well done and please be careful if you ride it in traffic, as the geometry of the steering is not correct.

If you are designing, one thing is important. The front wheel axis should be a few centimeters in front of the steering axis. I think this bike probably didn't work ( 41:14 side view).
