I would love to see a materials list as even more would be able to build it. You know, rookies like me. Lol. I figure 10-2x4x10's. 8-angle braces. 1-roll of mechanics wire, 50ft roll. 1-handle. 2-hindges, 1 box torx screws. 6=1x4x8's. Poultry fencing for door. 4x14 feet of metal roofing. Two lawnmower wheels. Anything else you can think of. This is the best tractor i have seen for the number of broilers we plan to have. Awesome video, thank you for sharing!!
Yeah, that's pretty much it as far as the equipment list goes. You're right that I should have included that too as it would have been extra helpful. Maybe next time! Glad you appreciated the video. One thing to add is a rope that you can attach to the front to make it easier to pull. I would also get larger wheels, like 7" or 8" diameter. Some of the wheels I've used are too small when the grasses get lush. The chickens overall seem to grow just fine in there, especially on fresh grass everyday and I have been lucky that I haven't had any issues w/ predators.

Nearly 3 quarters of the top is roofed and on one side it wraps down to the back so I tried to position it in the field where the enclosed side faced our prevailing winds and rain.

Do coyotes or other predators tunnel under the chicken tractor??
and you just leave them in there at night too and when you move it ?
