This series had so much potential and was seriously underrated. Too bad they had to add a silly ending. But it's so worth watching because of the two amazing male leads and their sizzling chemistry. I actually like GJ better with Jason Xu as I think they make a hotter couple lol. I hope now that WOH has gained so much fame, audiences will start looking into this series again too.

I really loved Advance Bravely. This was first time that I experienced both Gong Jun and Jason Xu and I thought that Gong Jun was average height. Then I saw GJ in Word of Honor and he was so much taller than ZZ and the rest of the cast. I looked up his height and he is a TALL guy, GJ is a little over 6 feet tall and Jason Xu is about 6'3"(!) When they are together on screen, they look average height but in person both are quite tall. Interesting how film can change a person's appearance.

There are some scenes I don’t recall being in the series. I really want to see more of them but I do understand why though as some of them seem to hint at boy on boy action and we all know Chinese censorship is really tight. 😢

i watched the series yesterday and i was confused about the last episode. It has a nice plot, the main characters have chemistry, it should have more than 30 episodes.
I agree with you very much but because of the limited resources from the crew, there will be no story ending as well as the second episode for this movie. This is the style of the story writer, making many fans disappointed. She encourages her fans to go to buy the novel so that the fans can know the story ending. However, this actually ignores fans from overseas because there is no English version.
Censorship issue, too bold on BL, thats why have to stop and wrap production with pushed and abrupt ending. Not about author or screen writer strategy to promote book.
I doubt the 2 straight man to act as gay are the most difficult but the 2 handsome man theirs act so damn real Hope they come back collaborate the 2 season wanna see if they’re happy ending ❤️
Since you like the drama you may enjoy watching the BTS from the filming of the drama on billi billi. The conversations and interactions between the two main leads off camera were more BL than what we see in the drama. To an onlooker, it looks like they may not be just acting their roles.
