The Space Cop Blu-Ray is one of the best flips I’ve ever done. Found it at a used bookstore for $2 here in Australia and sold it for $185, I was so excited. I’m a big RLM fan so I recognised it instantly too.
4 more titles from my solds on ebay: Never Say Never Again (James Bond Film), The Red Violin (starring Sam Jackson), Highlander 2: The Quickening & Starship Troopers 2 (or the trilogy 3 pack).
I've found Space Cop a couple times in the wild. Another good one is License To Drive thats a BOLO. I've finally found that in the wild after 6 years of buying collections and reselling full time. Great video. Keep em coming.
Cocoon was a huge hit when it came out and put director Ron Howard in the same conversation as Steven Spielberg. Cocoon shares a lot of themes with Spielberg's works and Spielberg himself tried telling a similar story in the Twilight Zone anthology movie. The effects were also very impressive for its time and it has one of James Horner's most magnificent scores. The cast was also very recognizable to that generation of adults. Perhaps the fact that most of the cast has been long gone is one of the reasons the movie isn't as well remembered. Short Circuit is another movie that used to play on televison constantly back in the 80s and 90s that's hardly ever mentioned today.
thanks, Heather! you just opened up a new spot for me to search at the thrift store because previously I knew NOTHING about DVDs and never took the time to look any up 😂
Some excellent choices. Black XMas 2006 on Blu Ray is another great one. Can you link your eBay store in the description. Unless I am stupid and just overlooking it.
Here are more OOP Blu-ray’s that I either own or are in my radar lol Teaching Mrs Tingle (1999) Go (1999) Joy Ride (2001) Aquamarine (2006) The Hitcher (2007) Triangle (2009) Red State (2011) This one comes from a boutique label but it’s worth mentioning: The Blue Lagoon (1980)
My theory about Taxi is that it's actually an American version of a very popular French movie series and probably that collectors of that series are looking to complete their set with it. I remember it being not that bad but not as good as the french ones
Thanks for the list. I have sold several of your bolo DVDs and Blu rays, it's like a treasure hunt and fun to do. Tip: Olsen Twins movies like "How the West was Fun" are worth good money.
Great list, I sold Sling Blade late last year for $40. Another one for your list is Solarbabies, sci-fi film, its also a Kino release, I just sold one for $53 on ebay.
I just found your channel and I liked & subbed. Good video. I'm looking forward to watching more in the future. TY 4 sharing. I do have a basic question. I see people scanning barcodes for CD/DVD/BlueRay etc. at the local flee market. I was wondering what app or site to use (as I'm just starting), as it seems like it would be helpful. Thanks again.
YASSS, 'Death to Smoochy' for the win! I SO 💜that movie...wonder if there are any odd OOP printings that hold value? Not quite up there with some of his other releases from that time period (late 80s?), I rate 'Cadillac Man' as pretty good; not a "must see" but decent. For me 'One Hour Photo' and 'What Dreams May Come' are up there as two of my favorite Robin Williams movies. Hm, I'll also have to checkout 'Gentleman's Broncos' as 'Napoleon Dynamite' is an all-time favorite. Anyway, nice list and video! I'm new to the channel but hitting the subscribe button 😁
Cocoon is amazing. Don't need the sequel, but the first is worth your time. Bedazzled is expensive because of Elizabeth Hurley being in sexy outfits. She was a supermodel as well as an actress.
That's so funny that you mention Space Cop . I hope you don't think I'm bragging, but I actually bought it when it was still available from RLM. I'm so sorry it went out of print! Crazy how much it's gone up. You have great taste in weird movies!
TAXI is not great but I'm not a big fallon fan. Fever Pitch is a classic though I would pay money for that if it were out of print. The nice thing about Blu-rays and DVDs is you can still find them at Goodwill. Good Books BOLO's at goodwill are almost impossible to find since they started scanning them.
Hi, I just saw your video, I subscribed because I love reselling. Thanks for the pointers. Now for the Taxi movie. I donèt know why it is valuable, but Taxi is a is a French movie series from France, there are 4 movies, (the second is the best) The one with Jimmy Fallon and Queen is a remake of the synopsis of the french movies.
Cocoon was HUGE when it came out; I was in college and went to see it. Also, Summer Lovers! Loved that movie; you have to remember when it was released…..it was very, uh, edgy/taboo for the time.
I know it wasn’t mentioned in the video but Dogma on Blu-ray is still a holy grail item, but the clock is ticking on that one. Rumor has it that the Weinstein estate sold it to Paramount.
I think the clock might be ticking on 28 Days Later as well. With the announcement of 28 Years Later, I could see them using this as an opportunity to release 4K versions of those first 2 movies.
Hi Heather Brand new subscriber here 😊 I am a huge fan of Gentlemen Broncos, its a terrible/ great movie! 😮 if you don't like it, I can accept that AND if you do like it I can accept that too. It's one of those cult following type of movies. If you do see it, keep an open mind and go with it. The highlight of the movie is the "Cletus Festival" and there are funny scifi parodies too. It's very strange in a geeky way. Also watch beyond the credits for bonus material just like in Napoleon Dynamite. I hope Gentlemen Broncos will be a favorite of yours too. (I'm going to sell my Blu-ray because I have the dvd, it's not one that needs to be on Blu-ray and I could use the money 😅😂🤣)
I am a Napoleon Dynamite nut job. Adore it..still. Gentlemen Broncos is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. And that's considering I love Jemaine Clement and oddball indies.
Awesome video but I THINK you are looking at a monitor / screen on your camera? or your script... If you can, try to make eye contact with the lens. It'll resonate so much more with your viewers like you're talking to us and not off screen. Thanks for the content :)
I think I'm usually looking at the lens or right above it, but since my set up is just my camera sitting on some boxes on my pull out ottoman table it sits at a lower angle than eye level which probably doesn't look as good. My laptop and monitor are way off to the side so you'd really notice if I was looking to those. When Ori is on camera you can see I'm looking at my monitor instead. 3:42
@@CosmicDealHeather definitely a difference there lol. I watched another video after and it looked right. Idk why it was tripping me out at first. Either way, thanks for the reply :)
@@sethm.woodiwiss786 Paramount tried to trick us into buying the director's cut of Star Trek The Motion Picture, but the longest version with everything, is already in the collected box.
I just randomly was watching your video and then at the end you showed my eBay sale of Space Cop in your screenshot! How cool!
I needed this.
I pretty much quit even looking at movies because I just didn't know what to look for & didn't want to scan every single movie.

Have any category suggestions?
Thanks for the video

The Taxi reaction 😂😂. Return to Oz for life. (💚 < It's Green!)
The Lost Empire (1984) Blu-ray goes for $299, at least that's what mine sold for.
Taxi is hilarious though! Idk about $50. Do you test your dvds or just buy, list and sell?😊

Do the horror video next please

No one should be buying Highlander 2 The Quickening. You want The Renegade Edition that restores the film to what the director made.

Why is there a cut edit at every punctuation mark? So annoying.
Better to keep the flow. You don't want a bunch of 5 second pauses while I glance at my notes or scratch my nose
