- In this video, we are eating lunch at Shake Shack for the first time. We ordered a ShackBurger, a SmokeShack, 2 French fries and a large drink. Our total was $22.38.
* ShackBurger - cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and ShackSauce.
* SmokeShack - cheeseburger with all-natural smoked Niman Ranch bacon, chopped cherry Pepper and ShakeSauce.

Our Shake Shake does free re-fills. Sometimes when the fountain to re-fill isn't out for the public, you just have to ask and they do it behind the counter. Even our local Wendy's here moved theirs behind the counter.. but it's still free re-fills. You just have to ask them and they do it! More annoying, but many places have moved to that so people don't steal drinks (off the streets, or ask for water cup and get soda, etc).

My favorite burger place is still Five Guys. Not exactly cheap but worth the price imo. We don't have a shake shack in Bowling Green but we do have a Culver's. Unfortunately it's all the way across town... lol. So it's a once in a blue moon kinda place for us. Thanks for another great review guys!
We like 5 Guys too. I understand when things aren't convenient, you don't go often.
I'm visiting Miami for my birthday and I literally just ate here before I saw this review lol. I enjoyed it!
It is good food, we just wouldn't go out of our way for it. This one is 40 minutes away from us. Culver's is about 15.

It was good food!
It looked like they didn't do a good job searing the patties which is unfortunate because they have a specialized high heat grill just for making a proper sear. I wonder if it is a quality control issue which tends to happens when a local restaurant becomes a major chain.
The SS in my area (NY) is hands down the best burger I've ever tasted. The burger patty is a special blend of sirloin, chuck and brisket. Although I have yet to try Culver's since there isn't one where I live.
Have you ever had a Red Robin cheeseburger?

Definitely try their frozen custard/concrete desserts if you ever go back - they're Ice Cream Snob/Queen approved ;)

Your shake shack looks so RAD. Here in San Antonio Texas we are getting our first shake shack August 23rd and it's in a corner spot across a mall but parking is limited very weird anywho after hearing your review my hopes went down like a balloon falling from the sky..I am interested in trying the spicy chicken sandwich tho. We got almost every burger chain: five guys,culvers,in and out,McDonald's, burger king, steak n shake, hop doddy,freddy's steakburger,Whataburger now shake shack..probably missed some anyways wrote to much have a nice day.
I would like to try the spicy chicken sandwich too. Although, I LOVE Chick-fil-A Spicy Chicken Sandwich with Pepper Jack cheese and I cannot imagine beating it.

Yes! We passed by one, but I knew it was a place that we could eat here. We tried to eat at places that we could not eat here.

I'll take Culver's any day over another burger chain (could be I'm biased cause I'm in Wisconsin where Culver's started). I always get cheese curds though.
We love Culver's. Their concrete mixers are unbelievably good.

Tami I had Shake Shack for the first time in Minnesota on a work trip and enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the shake I got. I wish we had a Culvers in NC, I have heard they have the best burgers!
I actually just fibbed, there is a Culvers in Charlotte, an hour away from me, will check it out. :)

switch to Veggie Burgers - it's more humane and tastes the same!!!
sorry folks but it is the toppings that you crave - melted cheese, pickles, cole slaw, sauerkraut, peppers, ketchup, mayo, burger bun...and definitely the french fries!
