this deck is insanely fun to play and pilot. i keep telling people that this deck will have its time and is only going to get stronger over time, obsidian is too strong of an attack for it to not eventually be a top deck
I tried several lists of hydreigon and never had any success with it. It's way to slow imo. You need at least 3 turns to make it go and it is not guaranteed that you can use his second attack. The rotation doesn't favor this deck in terms of consistency and energy management as well so one can just hope for strong cards to support this deck.
You forgot about the Terapagos from SSP its attack cost for one colorless prism charge search your deck up to 3 different energy types and attach them to your tera pokemon in any way you like @@frauenrespektierer8419
1 Crispin and 2 dark patches and u have a fully powered hydreigon... run 4 Crispin and 4 dark patch and discard ur dark energies with ultra balls n such to activate dark patches and Bing bang boom, shit, he's dark, can toss in some janines too
What i find funny about this deck is that if you let the Hydreigon start using Obsidian you'll lose out of nowhere because that attack is so good and also if you turbo too much you'll lose just by the Headbutts alone (i decked out a Gholdengo who drawed non-stop every turn and since i milled the Ace Spec he could KO my Hydreigons fast enough)
I'm still not sure what is currently better in terms of tools: Counter Gain or Binding Mochi. I've been using this deck fairly often in Live ladder since the card came out. It's only struggle has been against regidrago and raging bolt for the reason most stage 2 evolution decks have.
what are your thoughts on including the baby hydreigon with the tri-howl ability and ciphermaniac codebreaking? I feel like it would be a good way to accelerate energy but idk if it’s too much for this deck
Just curious about the psychic energy, I might be stupid but wouldn't you rather always have neo energy cover the psychic and steel energy and just run six darkness? I'm probably misunderstanding one of the mechanics
I pulled the list from Limitless as Cyrus had it when they won the tournament. You can see it on Limitless here: play.limitlesstcg.com/tournament/67367403140465a3148700e0/player/cyrustcg/decklist But yes, I would replace the psychic with a dark. Even Cyrus’s own video on the deck has removed the psychic energy. th-cam.com/video/XdDpNdQGmMU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=BS12ndaTE8u30CCl
just got back into the tcg last month after not playing for about 10 years (I was 10) competing in my first locals tourney this weekend, love the videos man!! super helpful & fun to watch - using them as a guide for the next few decks I have in mind, much love!

Yes, I forgot that I could have used Pecharunt ex to switch in the last game 🤦♂️
Couldn't you also have Giovanni > earthen vessel'd to just murder the rotom for the win?
@@NewbDragoon giovanni only works when the active pokemon (rotom) has energy attached to it (it didnt)
Read my mind
I love running Crispin with these Stellar pokemon. Getting two energy down in one turn has saved me more times than I like to admit
This was a lot of fun to watch. Dude on the other end of this mustve been stunned pikachu face when this came off

I had a game like your game one, instantly crushed by someone. And this deck suddenly intrigued me 😂😂

That’s a great idea.
39:40 Does the Pecharunt make a free switch?
It works great with a Terapagos-Noctowl build.
is this deck worth building for irl tcg? also I don't know how to check the price of the deck without checking each one individually
while you were looking for a switch option i was screaming pech man! peeeeeccchhh! XD
i just fought someone with this deck using ur gardevoir deck, almost made it lost with a misscalculation
Cool vid!
In the last game you could bench pecheraunt to switch
i was foaming watching him passing the pecharunt xd

it is indeed pointless, it only makes sense if you add a metal energy and maybe a crispin

The dark build won’t really work after dark patch is gone at rotation. Multi energy types with Crispin is probably the way to go.

I love my Manaphy
cancelling cologne is on most of this kinds of decks.
@@domingoaltermattedwards6209 Ya, but they need to get the Manaphy from the bench to the active spot before that works ;)
Thorton is kinda important for this deck
