An up-and-coming power player, Taiga Kagami, is just back from America. When he comes to Seirin High School, he meets the super-ordinary boy, Tetsuya Kuroko. Kagami is shocked to find that Kuroko isn't good at basketball, in fact, he's bad! And he's so plain that he's impossible to see. @@psAndrew Indeed. And also the moment Aomine loses and its aftermath... imo it's one of the most impressive scenes in the show. He's the same person, but little details in his eyes, his stance... (not sure what else) give him a totally different aura. Kuroko saved him eventually, just like Aomine saved Kuroko back at Teiko.
kensho ono has such a versatile voice is truly amazes me, how does he change from characters like akutagawa to an angel like kuroko
I really love that there's a whole opening just for the 4-episode teiko arc, makes me feel like there's a whole other anime in the prequel to Kuroko joining Seirin

Mandel'Aomine Sensei yeah ofcourse. This anime is really exaggerated. But still a good show
He just makes you focus on other things but it's more prominent if you're on the court since you can't keep your eyes on something and he's usuallly the last thing you would be able to look at because of his movements

Mandel'Aomine Sensei It wouldn’t work even on the court you would see Kuroko. He could still be a good piece to any team if he decided to put on some muscle.
I love the part at 1:11 when kise looks back smiling in the background and is basically saying “show them what you can do Kurokochi”

I love how during the halfway point of the episodes in the Teiko arc, when they showed the Teiko roster, earlier episodes it showed them all wearing Teiko uniforms but then after year 2 when they each started being selfish, skipping practice and no longer being team oriented players, the halfway point showed with their different high school team uniforms to show they're not a true "team" anymore

is father got sick so he gave up and passed the captain role to akashi so he could focus on his dad

Is it OK if someone tells me in what ways midorima and kise were broken by the teiko arc
I already know that murasakibara was broken because he hates the fact that things are so easy for him due to his natural talent
Aomine was broken due to the fact that he couldn't have fun anymore because he was getting good faster that everyone else
And Akashi was broken because of how much everyone else was growing and he felt like he was going behind so he adopted a personality that would make him strive to win to close the gap and make himself better
But if someone knows what happened to midorima and kise during the teiko arc can you just tell me

I would say Kise broke in a very different way, because when everything started growing crazy he started feeling invincible and he absorbed the general mood and did pretty bad stuff (like, he was the one who had the idea of the 111:11 during the match against Kuroko's friend)
As for Midorima, I think he stopped depending on the team around the time Aomine and Murasakibara started skipping training sessions, and that's pretty much what broke, because he became totally self-reliant around that time.
And you didn't mention Kuroko (because he hasn't been completely broken I guess, but really that was a close one), his self-confidence and his feelings were just trampeled upon.
It's cazy to think all of this happened because they lost the safety net of their mentors too early ( the original team leader AND their coach, who actually saw and anticipated what was coming, but weren't there when they were needed the most)

@@tetitous Other thing about Murasakibara is that he can't go all out bc he can hurt the other players, kinda like Gao in Eyeshield 21, so this is more reasons as to why he dosen't enjoy the sport

@@AC11Milan Kise also became different with Kaijo, since now he had the place to shine he always wanted, but he also learned he doesn't need to be the spotlight at all times. Basically, he found his place, since in Teiko, he never had true teamwork or a spotlight, cause the team was growing more and more independent, and in Teiko, he not only gained the spotlight, but he finally had the team work and strong people to really rely on, even when he couldn't be the spotlight
