What is Archipelagic Zoo?
Archipelagic Zoo is a Planet Zoo project, that will showcase animals from Southeast Asia (that is currently in-game). with Fantasy regions inspired by real countries of SE Asia. From Indonesia to the Philippines, animals from each region will be showcased.
Dawan?
"Dawan" better known as "Uab Meto" refers to a local language spoken in the Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) province of Indonesia. NTT is known for its linguistic diversity, with many local languages spoken throughout the region. Dawan is one of these local languages.
Dawan is part of the Austronesian language family and is primarily spoken by the Dawan ethnic group in NTT. Like many local languages in Indonesia, Dawan faces challenges such as language shift and endangerment due to the dominance of the national language, Bahasa Indonesia. Efforts are being made to document and revitalize local languages like Dawan to preserve cultural heritage and linguistic diversity.

Lar gibbons are known for their incredible acrobatics. They are skilled brachiators, swinging through the trees with remarkable agility and grace. Their long arms and strong shoulder muscles allow them to move swiftly from branch to branch, covering distances of up to 15 meters (50 feet) in a single swing. This arboreal acrobatics not only helps them navigate their forested habitats efficiently but also serves as a form of communication, as they often use loud calls while swinging to announce their presence to other gibbons in the area.

Spectacled flying foxes are accomplished nomads. They are known to travel long distances in search of food, sometimes ranging over 100 kilometers (62 miles) in a single night. This remarkable ability to cover vast distances plays a vital role in pollinating and spreading seeds of different plant species across their habitat, making them important ecological contributors.
