whats makes this even more funny is that back then the game had rated M for mature rating, so the fact that toy-r-us promoted this game is all the more better
I haven't 7 when i was very happy playing alone the demo that came with playstation magazine. First i wanted to do was take the m-16, never freaked so much as playing as a child with this mature game. The gun sounds, the explosions, the blood splatterns, burn the bad guys with taser, the "red" grenades, open the boxes with weapons, the cbdc agents, climb the balcony to take the grenade launcher... With a childhood like this who've needed friends??
This was pretty much my first exposure to syphon filter, and I remember the menu theme being different in the full version, however it would make its way into syphon filter 2 and 3 as the menu theme.
Waiting until 20th for release of Syphon Filter 2 on the PS Plus Extra, already have Syphon Filter 1, but i played only 2 and 3 when i was kid lol, the SF1 i played after adult on emulator.
I played most of the SF1 demos, and I don't think I played this one. There's one demo that's usually on the demo's video preview, the video you see before pressing X, well, the radar there is a circle and Gabe clothes are darker.
