As a veteran and wife of a 24 year, newly-retired veteran, this is appalling and painful. We volunteered our youth to the machine that is the US military, with starry-eyed optimism and full hearts. It twists you. It uses you. That's the way of it. There's no other way to achieve the objectives of the mission while using human beings to do it. It's an unnatural lifestyle that quietly (and sometimes violently) changes everything about you. We have four children that never knew the stability and trust of a permanent home, family gatherings, friendships that lasted longer than a few seasons. Sure, we are a "strong family", but it's bent. We know who we are and why we are this way, but watching our fellow brothers and sisters struggle under the burden is extremely difficult. Many commit suicide. Marriages implode. Depression, alcoholism, domestic abuse, etc is unfortunately common. Women veterans have different challenges that color every interaction for the rest of your life. And then, on top of this, comes the DISGUSTING commentary from weak, ignorant, petty individuals who HAVE NO IDEA what it costs us. They sit in their ivory towers and cast judgement on us, loudly, and for what? This man degraded EVERY AMERICAN VETERAN in an attempt to insult a former, and soon to be current, President of the United States. That's what this is all about. Trump is so vigorously hated, they will launch a scorched-earth campaign on ANYONE to achieve a perceived hit on him. It's INSANE. I was previously never a "fan" of Trump, and my primary choices tended to be individuals who were a bit less bombastic. Nevertheless, at the end of the day, I have voted for Trump three times now, because I am not so foolish to vote for individuals who clearly despise the military, veterans, and PROFIT off the backs of families like ours. This isn't new. I served 21 years. During, and immediately following a war/conflict, vets and active duty folks are loved. For instance, I got a huge military discount from Ford following Iraqi Freedom. When the sacrifices our people made are forgotten, a few years later, this is the kind of love the veteran community gets. I wonder why some of our vets are so messed up? Maybe if the care we were promised when we signed the bottom line was delivered as promised....we wouldn't have these suicides. 22 die every day on average. They take their own lives. This isn't new. I served 21 years. During, and immediately following a war/conflict, vets and active duty folks are loved. For instance, I got a huge military discount from Ford following Iraqi Freedom. When the sacrifices our people made are forgotten, a few years later, this is the kind of love the veteran community gets. I wonder why some of our vets are so messed up? Maybe if the care we were promised when we signed the bottom line was delivered as promised....we wouldn't have these suicides. 22 die every day on average. They take their own lives. We hardly ever hear about those brothers and sisters though. The corporate media is sick. All of it.

At this point I, a combat veteran myself, agree with and stand with MSNBC 100%. Not because I share the same views they do, but because of that one quote that says to not interrupt your enemy when they're making a mistake. And seeing how MSNBC, CNN, AB C and the entire left-leaning/liberal base still haven't figured out how and why they lost the election, I figure the best thing for all of us is to stop trying to correct them on why they lost. The best thing we could do is to just stand back, nod our heads, and smile right back at them knowing they're just helping us win the 2028 & 2032 elections.
