Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was born in a Hindu family. So do we not find our roots in Hinduism? Hindu is an umbrella term of which sanatan dharm, Arya samaj, Sikhism and even Buddhism is a part. Buddhism also believed to have evolved as a seperate sect from Hinduism. We are now Sikhs but we were primarily Hindus only. Hinduism is not just about temples and devi devtaas its realm is big beyond words. So kindly don't support such dimwit elements in society just because they exist. As a matter of fact I too am a Sikh. It's an irony sikhs were known for their valour and bravery. We never kill even our worst enemies if they are unarmed. But today a politician good or bad has been attacked unarmed'. It's a disappointment.
