Theory: Any scene where Jaden is seen outside is all just him dreaming. When he’s in his room, he wears a mask and is surrounded by BLM posters, signs, etc, showing the current harsh realities of the world that’s weighing him and many of us down. But, when he’s seen outside, he’s evidently not wearing a mask and is smiling, dancing, having a good time with large groups of people, and there’s generally more colours used as compared to the darker tones in the room. Basically, he’s actually stuck in his room and is envisioning all that he wants to do, maybe even planned to do previously, before everything happened. He wants to have fun but with what’s going on in the world right now, he has a larger responsibility to play his part just like all of us. We all have “cabin fever” but we shouldn’t neglect the current situations in the world just because of that.
