How to remove page number from cover page | How to Number All Pages Except First in Word 2016

This video explains how to add page numbers to your document file and exclude page number from your cover page. You will learn How to Remove the Page Number From the First Page of a Document in Microsoft Word. I have numbered all pages except the title page of the document using Microsoft 2016. You can use similar steps for word 2010, word 2013, word 2019 and word 365.
Open the document and Go to 'Insert' tab at the top of your word. Click on 'Page Numbers' and select ‘Top of page’. Double-click on the number. Check 'Different First page' at the top of your window. This option will skip the page number for the very first page of the doc.
If you want the numbering to begin from the second page, click on 'Page Numbers' in the 'Insert' tab. Choose 'Format page numbers'. Check 'Start at' and put 0. Click 'Ok'. You can see, the first page does not have the number at all and it begins with number 1 on the second page of the doc.
