SLSO First Violinist I-Jung Huang performs Bach

What better than a spring day to enjoy some Bach? I-Jung Huang, SLSO first violinist, plays a sprightly selection from Bach’s Partita No. 3 for solo violin. This uplifting movement, the Govette en Rondeau, was famously included on a record brought into space by the Voyager spacecraft in 1977.
I-Jung was appointed to her position by Music Director Stéphane Denève beginning in the 2020/2021 season.
