Now I want all those trees!
I needed this information. Thank you.
Some of the popular trees for bees here in OK are locust and redbud
Wonderful video. I love it. We have many Black Chokeberry (Aronia melanocarpa) shrubs here. The bees are indeed all over the beautiful blossoms. I made a tincture last year with the berries. Very medicinal as an antioxidant and antiviral.
This is awesome. Just remember two big willow trees is as good as 2 acres of clover.
I wish he would have identified which zones they can thrive in.

You misidentified Red Buckeye, Aesculus Pavia as Aesculus parviflora , Bottlebrush Buckeye, which blooms white and is actually a very broad colonizing shrub that eventually after maybe 15 years can get 10’ tall. I’ve had mine for over 5 years in part shade and it’s only 3’-4’ tall. It’s Hardy as far as Chicago
The video footage you were showing is Red Buckeye, Aesculus Pavia. It is a native Southern tree that will get around 20’ tall.
GroWild in Fairview, Tennessee is the only nursery I know of South of Nashville that grows and sells both Native plants. That’s where I purchased mine.
I was thinking the same thing but doubted myself. Thanks for verifying my initial thoughts. We have a native nursery north of Louisville that carries these. They are spectacular for sure.
Thanks for the catch on the 'pavia' rather than parviflora.
