What is the Difference between Om Namaha Shivay and Namaha Shivay? Because in 2013, Kedarnath Flood I chanted Namaha Shivay more than 25000 times in one month before facing that flood, and that time I was doing it by default as I was feeling irritated with the feeling that something negative is going to happen. Till June 2013 I never listen to a single video, I never consulted to anyone and I never read a single book of an author on astrology as I didn't have the knowledge about the right people in the world of astrology. And I was not ready to go to an astrologer as I knew that they don't have the wise knowledge about the Indian scripture. so I started learning astrology by myself on Google since July 2011. I knew one thing about me that I will pick the right material. Yes, there were lot's of nonsense on Google that's why it took two years to know about planets, houses and signs mahadasha etc. but finally I came to know about prarabdha karma and I saw it in my horoscope before my trip to Kedarnath Ji in 2013. Since my childhood, I was a follower of Lord Krishna and started reading Geeta at the age of 17. Though that time it was difficult to understand Geeta. I was deeply involved with Lord Krishna without performing any ritual except one, fasting on his birthday. Before 2013 I never prayed to Lord Shiva and I really didn't know why people call him Bholenath but as I told you I was learning astrology on google and I was not ready for a consultancy from an astrologer I started to find out the solution on google and before one month of Kedarnath flood I found a page on Google in which someone wrote that according to our scripture 1st mantra is Gayatri Mantra 2 mantra is Namaha Shivay and 3 is Maha Mritunjay Mantra. As my mind was so irritated and was not ready to perform the rituals in the name of Shiva due to my lack of faith in him I choose to chant the Namaha Shivay before facing 2013 flood, without knowing the difference between Namaha Shivay and Om Namaha Shivay and yes through this mantra I escape the death because that time I was inside the Kedarnath temple and I saw the real world of life and death. There I asked someone the difference of Om Namaha Shivay and Namaha Shivay and he told me, Parvati Ji chanted the Namaha Shivay, Wo keval shivji ji ko hi namaskar karti thi. And I was also doing that. yes, I was doing It without having the right knowledge about the mantra but it's safe my life. And since then I feel difficult to chant Om Namaha Shivay . whenever I chant I always chant Namaha Shivay.
