I just got my first Temu order today. I got a TON of stickers for my fave shows/bands etc as well as three diamond paintings to try out - snack size ones. I am working on another order for some square diamond ones.
Hi Lisa, I’m just getting into Diamond painting and need to learn all the details such as the types of canvases, typical sizes, tools, good accessories to supplement kits with, storage options for finished products, etc… Do you have a DP basics video? I trust your videos and don’t know other DP channels. I think a number of colorists are getting into DP. I like the idea of staying with people I’m comfortable with. One concern with Temu and Ali Express is their copyright infringements. So many overtly copied stamps and does in the card making world that people are frequently reporting them to the real companies. It makes me so hesitant to purchase from them. I get their good prices though.
Yes I know what you mean. It’s basically because China does not have the copyright laws we have so it’s technically not against the law. I do have a few videos that I made probably a couple of years ago that are the basics of diamond painting. I’m not sure if they’re in a playlist or not though. If you have problems finding them, let me know and I’ll help you out.
I have done extensive research on this company and it is actually based in Boston with a patent company called PDD Holdings. Nowhere have I seen one single mention that any money made through Temu goes to the Chinese government. Where did you get your information from so I can do more research on this?
@@angelam4258 Yes, as I indicated in my previous reply to you, I know it is a subsidiary of PDD Holdings. But PDD Holdings actually has shareholders and is on the stock market so, again, I don’t believe that their profits go to the Chinese government, or at least not all of it. Could you please direct me to the article you found this information in so that I know this for my own information. Because if you are right about this, I definitely don’t agree with their business policies.
I just happened to be scrolling through FB and an advertisement T for a stamp set with matching dies is an exact copy of a Stampin Up product. This is my concern. But I support your channel and understand you are always honest and careful. And you understand people are doing their best to save money for all the crafts their involved with. I can say for me I would stay away from this company, but I would never try to slam your channel as I know you to be a good an honest channel.
