Proximity mine question. Can you use proximity mine as a grenade (explode on contact rather setting it up as a mine) and still get the 25% more damage taken debuff?
"Black Widow is the best weapon." It's a great weapon, sure, but I prefer the Javelin, for one reason. It has a built in Thermal Scope, that allows you to see any enemy you can kill. That, and it has the most innate piercing of any weapon. Perfect example: on Firebase Hydra, there is a spot where you can snipe and receive little, if any, return fire. Only problem is with that is that there is a wall that blocks like all but like a 15-20 degree cone. With any other sniper rifle, you'd have to guess where the enemy is. With the Javelin, you can almost snipe any enemy all the way to across the map to LZ.
The real problem with the Javelin is that (as far as I know), it is the only charge weapon that fires automatically, unlike the Graal Spike Thrower, Geth Plasma Shotgun, and the Acolyte. It's really bad for Infiltrators because once you charge up any charged weapon, you lose your cloak. Meaning if you want to cancel the shot, you will lose your cloak, and you can't charge it, cloak, and release.Once you charge the shot, you have to take it if you want the TC boost.
Hey wait a minute... If you didn't get extra power for tactical cloak, then doesn't that mean you don't get the damage bonus for your sniper shot if you use energy drain first?
This guy is easily my favorite character, paired with the Kishock Harpoon Gun. Max Energy Drain with emphasis on fast recharge. Hit one target with ED while charging Kishock, hit stunned enemy with Kishock while recharging ED. Hit another target with ED while charging Kishock, hit stunned enemy with Kishock while recharging ED. One. Two. One. Two. One. Two. When they reach you, cloak and relocate. Pick a target, then One. Two. One. Two. Energy Drain stuns one target while recharging your shields from the other's attacks until it's their turn. One. Two. One. Two... It's devastatingly fun. :)
Your recharge speed and your damage would be much greater if you Cloaked each time. You're adding about a fifth of second to your cooldown and losing nearly a 1000 damage per shot, not to mention your getting less shields from Energy Drain.

My Cloak recharge is 3.32 seconds, while my Energy Drain recharge is 2.7 seconds. _If you get into a rhythm_, the One-Two method is literally that fast with the Kishock. The extra damage isn't needed to dispatch non-bosses; I can take a group of them out first, then cloak and relocate when they're right about to reach me. The Kishock's damage means I can kill any non-boss with a headshot, and headshots are easy because they're stunned when I ED them. Getting into the rhythm with the Kishock is key though. It reloads fast and does a huge amount of damage. When it comes to heavy units though, especially Reapers, I do use the cloak more, since I'm not getting much shields from them with Energy Drain and that extra 1000 damage actually comes into play. I can devastate on Silver, and hold my own on Gold.

The only way your ED cooldown is that small is if you have sacrificed all the weapon damage in your passive tree. You should never spec for recharge speed on Infiltrators because of Tactical Cloak, you are throwing damage away all over the place.
***** Sorry, I forgot to mention how I play ME3MP: While everyone focuses on damage, I'm the guy that focuses on the team & objectives (keeping everyone revived, cloak to activate consoles, etc) I forgot to mention that, sorry... I guess it comes down to how the guy's played. Damage isn't as big a concern when taking out grunts like Cannibals, Marauders, etc, because headshots are so easy when they're made prone by ED; everything's a one-shot kill. The Kishock also pierces inherently, so virtually anything without a yellow bar is a goner instantly. My Cloak emphasis is on duration, and being able to fire one ED while cloaked; I use Cloak entirely for escape, to either revive teammates, activate consoles, or maximize distance and start firing again. It's definitely an unconventional build, and probably not well suited for Platinum, but it works when used with my team-based tactics. That and I love the rhythm. :) So glad that other people are still playing ME3MP...I can hardly find a game when I play...

Why did you spec for headshots in salarian operative in your weapons build with the venom shotgun? Does the Venom shotgun do headshots? Or is power damage for salarian operative bugged? I can't see any annotations because I have a phone.
Hmm well it is strange ... i was no friend of sniping, but the Salarian Infiltrator with Black Widow IV seems to get one of my favorite classes O_o. Played it today almost the entire time. Love it! So thanks for your help to discover this class for me :).
There is no aiming assistance, but before i often ended zooming and then trying to find the enemy with this limited field of vision and simply couldn't catch him any more. Perhaps that's why i hated sniping. with only zooming shortly for the shot is easier for me.
i didnt get any rare chars even tho i opend like 15 reseve packs as u said that is the highest chance of getting rare chars but i didnt even get one :(((
+Mr Ziga Do you have all your common and uncommon weapons at level 10? Last time I checked you didn't. You need to follow the strategy mentioned in my Phoenix Adept guide for your best chance.
+Khazlol Only if your Widow is leveled up and your B. Widow isn't (a likely situation). The Widow does more damage per shot, but the B. Widow does more damage per second.
Hmm .. nice trick with aiming from the hip and then zoom in ... I should try this. Normally i hate Sniperrifles, but if that works for me perhaps i can use this tons of sniperrifle weapon bonuses that i collected and never ever used O_o.

No reason not to snap on a claymore with this guy aswell. As long as you use an ability straight out of cloak, then the recharge will be 3 seconds.
Valiant X is my preferred weapon. Cloak, drain, fire, repeat.

No you'll be fine. The effects of TC last for another 2.5 seconds after you break from it. That's enough time for you to stun and gun.

Well spotted, that's a mistake. Take Power Damage. Of course you're not limited to the Venom Shotgun.
