This video covers it spot on. I just did the same in my 2009 e350 wagon. Hardest part was removing the drivers dive windshield washer arm. The threads in the spindle thingy were corroded. I removed the wiper assembly with the arm and plastic molding intact. Only after moving to a work bench and hammering on the thing did it come loose.

ARTV, why do you not want to answer this question with a proper answer instead of ridiculing? Also, I'd like to know if you have no water coming out when disconnecting the hoses. I expect you emptied the coolant system? Would there be any bleeding procedures to be followed for filling it back up? What kind of green lube is that you used. I hust removed my control unit and could not get the single hose from the engine off and the single inlet tube brole off on the plastic U bend that goes to the rubber hose into the engine. Not sure how to get the broken piece off of the hose.

hi. W211 Air conditioning does not cool completely. The part that blows into the door always gives off hot air. Even when the air conditioning is on, the left door vent always emits hot air. Could the same device be defective? Thanks.
