- LEGEND IS COMING, Finally, It's time for releasing my most precious treasure. I plan to set this album and video to be a NEW YEAR GIFT for GUNPLA world. BEHOLD!! One of the most wanted Gunpla for every collector. and Sure!!, This is the first time for it fully reviewing in the world too!! 1/60 PG RX-78-2 GUNDAM GOLD VER, well-known in "One Million Yen Gunpla". It's the 1st winning lottery prize from MG SPECIAL MECHANIC SEAL W CHANCE CAMPAIGN on 2002, there are just only 30 kits for this campaign, they were divided to 5 continents, 6 kits each. and there is 1 extra unit for Champion of "BANDAI ACTION KIT ASIA CUP" on 2003, so totally 31 kits in the world. This model is the only 1 PG that coated by 24K GOLD. so it seem look like a treasure in my opinion. This album is contained every special 24k coated runner, inner frame, and over all view of this kit. At last, for something truly special like this, I proud to present my Full Review VDO of this Gold ver. and I wish you guys will appreciate it as I do.

Vincenzo A thank you, I do nothing for nubmarks, cuz I try to find a color to fix it but not work. Sure it's from Unicon cuz I really like it and overall of Unicon Music is better than original Gundam Anime(in my opinion).
Perfect Collector: do You suggest any particular cutters to be more precise?
I love also the ost from the 3 gundam 0079 movies as well, but unicorn ost is way more epic, And epicness is perfect for the hype of such a unique model kit!

A 24k gold coating is relatively cheap to make believe it or not starting at 100 usd to 300 usd. The reason why this kit is so expensive and special is not because of the gold coating, it's because of it's rarity. The 1,000,000 yen (9000 usd 13 000 cad) price tag is absolutely ridiculous.

Yeah, for such an expensive kit, you would think Bandai would undergate the parts. It's still a stunning work of art though. As for undergated Gundams, the No Grade Akatsuki is well worth it. Amazing kit for a much more affordable price.

It's definitely incredible to see one of these built, considering the high rarity, but it kinda sucks seeing that it's marred by the issue that makes practically all plated kits unbuildable - the nub marks.
The nubs are definitely not as noticeable on a PG when compared to other plated kits from MG and HG, but those nubs definitely make a kit less presentable in my opinion, since the nubs are impossible to remove.

You’re building it....wtf, no!!!!!!! You should have just got a regular kit and plated it. Especially since it will look like shit with all the nub marks. Plated kits always end up looking terrible.
please becareful of using gundam/bandai music, my video using the unicorn music got reported and deleted and almost lost my channel, bandai are very strict about the usage of their music

Thanks for sharing this amazing PG... It's a shame those for all that gold plating it wasn't undergated, but I guess Bandai would have needed to make another mold just for this kit if they were going to do it. To be honest I think for the amount a typical PG cost they should all be undergated. And that Bandai should revise all the PG before the strike just to correct all the proportions as well as to undergate all them.
So if you stack 60 PG model kit on top of each other will it add up to a real gundam
