Hello there. I don't know if anyone reads the extended lore in the description, so I've decided to post a comment here. The production of this part was... very tumultuous as it took... 3 whole months. And for that, I'm sorry. I know that not too many people is interested in this series and I don't blame anyone of you. Every video I make is, pretty much, a self-fanservice that I'm making for myself (and to demonstrate the games that are important to me fully to my friends), but I'm sorry if you don't enjoy them. I hope that eventually I'll make something that will interest you again! [Regret] is... very important to me at the personal level. Even if I... really struggle to make bring it justice it deserves. And to think that I thought that the whole [Regret] will be a single video that's about 2.5-3 hours long that I would be over with in March... Once again, thanks for taking interest and clicking this video. The simple act of doing so means a lot to me. There are 2 acts left, each one should be about 1 hour long and then I'll be free. I plan to make smaller, lighter videos in the meantime to not burnout myself. Cheers! Chodyna out.
@@anastasiolabropoulos Yup! I know! I actually ordered the special physical version (the one that looks like original boxed PS1 game) for PS5, but double dipped and bought it on switch (because the physicals will be sent in 2025, so... yeah, a long way). ...it's basically a really decent port with brilliantly remade soundtrack and some... weird graphical quirks (because it was pretty much AI upscaled or something). It's ok overall! Pretty much what I expected it to be. Thanks for the info, tho!
I just watched the first Tombi video and instantly looked if you had made a Tombi 2 video. Really liked the channel, gonna keep an eye for any new vídeos that might come. Tomba 2 was and still is one of my favorite games of all times, even though it realesed almost 5 years before i was even born. Good luck with the channel, and waiting here for the next vids on this series.
First of all: thanks for giving my video a chance! I'm glad you've enjoyed the first part enough to subscribe. It's amazing to hear about younger gaming enthusiasts trying older games and enjoying them so much (though, damn, I feel old now, haha). Tombi! 2 is really special to me and I've wanted to make a video about it for a very, very long time. There will be two more parts for Tombi! 2 - I HOPE to release Act II before August and Act III somewhere in September. ...though my release plans often are... too ambitious for me (I was supposed to be done with the series by April 2024... though originally I've planned to make a combined 3-4 hour video about both Tombi! games, so it all got really out of hand). Once more, thanks for your time, especially commenting
@@Hodyna I first played it around 2007, I was 4 and an older cousin had a copy, and we used to play it everytime at our vacations. Since then, I loved the game and every now and then I replay it. Earlier this year I finished Tomba 1 for the first time and made the 100% on 2. I found out about the promotional mangas around 3 days ago and was thinking about trying to translate it to Brazilian Portuguese, but apparently they're not complete in English, so I might delay this idea for a while.
@@FernandoCarloto Sounds like really nice memories! Also, great pick for favorite game. What are your thought about Tombi! 1? It's... a very heated debate between fanbase which game is better (I like both, but 2 is still king in my book). Yeah, promotional manga is still being translated by Tomba Club. I'm pretty sure that making good scans take a lot of time as it's what? 2 years since they translated first chapter? Still, it's nice of you to try translate it! Also, I have quite a few viewers from Brazil and it's crazy how similiar gaming in 2000s was in both of our countries, even if they are separated by literal Ocean and about 10000 km. Classic Video Games truly bring people together, huh.
@@Hodyna I think the game was pretty Fun, but there is so much BS on certain areas. The 1-Up System was a bit of a problem, specially in the Mushroom Forest and Phoenix Mountain way, since you just lost a whole life for dropping on a hole. But apart from those things, I really liked the game, but i just cant compare It to 2. And i dont know about there in Poland (Sorry if I got It wrong), but here in Brazil we always depended on piracy (from ps1 onwards) or renting games so we could have acess to the games, and so we had the habit to reunite a Lot of people to play together and trade games with friends for everyone to try new things.
Oi, you havin' a giggle m8? It would be NTSC version if it was 1.2x speed. Know your facts you dummy. Btw. Ye, that's perhaps the best way to watch my videos.
I'm sorry for taking so long to respond! ...for some reason TH-cam is quite tardy lately with showing me comments and responses, so... thank you for your time! ...I have to say that "Tomba" does sounds more manly and badass than "Tombi"... although that "softer" title worked with 1st game's aesthetic quite well in my opinion!
...can you elaborate further on what you had in mind with this comment? Tombi! is the PAL title of the game, and as an European i'm more fond of it than the NTSC Tomba! ...even if most of my time was with the (superior) NTSC version. Anyway, thanks for your time.

mr president a second tombi video has dropped
Tip: If you want to switch from PAL to NTSC version of the video, change the speed to 1.25x

Its tomba not tombi. Pay attention to your streaming titles
