I didn't know about them when they recorded this (which is pretty normal, since I was 3) but for some reason I feel nostalgic when listening. This was the beginning of the easycore scene. By the way, for those who don't know, there's a music video for the first track.
Tom breaking his arm had nothing to do with Kevin joining the band. Tom quit the band to focus on his marriage and to become a producer, but they kept him in the band as a part of the writing process.

Resentment and last chance to dance are the best song on that album. I love the little nuances and shit and its just so heavy I don't care if it sounds "generic"
@@jthrock45 it’s not even just Tom leaving that affected the writing it was ADTR signing with Ramen that kinda fucked shit up. When you’re on the same label as P!ATD pop, I’d expect the label to want you to make that shit
The old ADTR lineup was Jeremy, Tom, Bobby, Josh, and Neil. Alex didnt come until For Those Who Have Heart. Tom wrote all the guitar for Homesick, Tom broke his arm and Kevn took his place.

I thought they never released that EP, at least that's what they said. Bobby was one of the founding members of the band and did the first album with them
Alex is not the original drummer. The first one they kicked out and he got so pissed he actually threatened to destroy Jeremys parents house. The next one bobby decided to leave the band and THEN they got Alex. And Neil is the second rhythm guitarist. The first one was horrible and would spit on fans so they kicked him out and let neil join. It seems like neil is a literal original member beause he joined within like the first month or two of the band.
