19:39 the girl dancing with Soobin is Arin from the group Oh My Girl (which is the OG singers of the song they were covering). Soobin and Arin were MC's together for KBS Music Bank for a year and two months. They did a few stages together.

The groups are still under their own companies. It’s just that Hybe bought their companies so the companies are under Hybe which is why they all work in the Hybe building. But they would have their people under their own seperate companies they work with and also some seperate Hybe staff they know. Like New Jeans is Hybe but under ADOR and the owner of the company is who is mainly in charge of the groups activities, songs and stuff. Hard to explain but yeah

hybe didn't buy bighit though, bighit established hybe corporations and acquired the labels whilst simultaneously still operating under bighit as a subsidiary label now under the multinational entertainment company hybe.

Big Hit Music is an independent label under HYBE. HYBE does not manage or promote Big Hit Music artists/groups, as Big Hit Music has their own dance directors, music producers but PD Bang (former CEO of Big Hit & HYBE...he is now the Chairperson) is still involved in the music production and at times attends their concerts. I suggest you watch Suga's Suchwita episdoe 8 where Yeonjun & Taehyun are guests which is cute and hilarious...

31:45 yeah they do. there's a couple of trainees and it's literally like a survival game. you have to keep improving every evaluation and do a performance. if they don't see you improving or don't have potential then you'll stop being a trainee. only the best gets to debut as a group. the fact that yeonjun was a trainee for three years and he was #1 in rap, singing and dancing the whole time really does make him legendary!!

3:49 - it's separate. The mother company is Hybe... But you have to remember, hybe is not a label. They all operate separately.
BigHit operates separately from Pledis so you cant say svt and bts are in the same company. It's already shown on the diagram.

hybe is quite literally a multinational Entertaiment company so yes they are all under the same company, they simply have different labels.
@@gingeryoongisupremacy7826 what this comment is trying to say is that Big Hit, Pledis or Ador, doesn't work together, they are separated companies who have their own methods, their own staff, administration, etc etc
Of course, BTS bring the company to life so they are the owners of some part and in their latest contract every member finally have power to make decisions and give their opinions, you definitely can say they have influence in Hybe too. In any case, for the rest of the groups their relationship with each other is almost nothing (in terms of business and functions), each company works differently.
@@v.vlenmf05 yeah i understood that, just corrected their misinformation and i'd be shocked if the biggest korean artists in the world, biggest asian artists in the world and hybe's main artist did not have the most impact on hybe lol, their hiatus announcement sent stocks down by 28%.
There is also no more vlive for lives but they live stream on weverse now which is where they normally interact with fans a lot

One of my favourite bits about this person’s guide (and the previous version) is that during the section that says about Soobin not hearing back from the company after several months, their song called ‘ghosting’ is playing lol.

In companies,they have monthly evaluations to see how the trainees improve. During those evaluations a lot get cut out and have to leave the company

Vlive was actually failing business wise so they sold to BH who planned to combine Vlive with Weverse. A lot of companies knew before hard and decided to do their own thing or join Weverse. Many artists and fans had years to save content and lives before it was all gone.

it genuinely pisses me off when people talk about how 'privileged' TXT is because nobody talks about SM entertainment, no one talks about JYP, nobody talks about YG.
It's always a problem when it's BTS related. and I feel bad for TXT because its like having a popular older sibling at school. People always perceive you differently depending on whether they like or dislike your sibling as if you're not a completely different entity from them.
They definitely started from the bottom and paved there own way but people don’t realize that. Thank you for watching ❤️
