There is a LOT of sexism in the Tsbs fandom which sucks as hell. I’ve seen so much favoritism in male over women and the fact is it’s everywhere it’s the most stupid thing I’ve seen hope Kay is alright it just sucks.
When Davis said that every single one of us in the SBS fandom HATES women, I felt a pang of sympathy for all the female characters because they are ALL amazing characters. I used to hate Miku because of how annoying she was, but now I just see her as one of us, one of the fans (plus, she is a hilarious character); I don't watch the Cassie and Helpi show, so I don't really know how she acts. Overall, I think the female characters are well-written and amazing and I am FURIOUS that loads of people are ranting about these guys

I’ve noticed this too in the fandom recently a lot. They overly defend characters because they’re silly little guys! They didn’t mean it! Just little scrimblos! Like, no. Ruin killed over 5,000 dimensions and they defend him over everything! Do I like him as a character? Yes! But I still acknowledge that he’s a horrible person with little remorse over what he did. Then Earth and even Lunar make one mistake or one comment and suddenly it’s like THEY’RE the ones that killed trillions of people!! They are _flawed_ individuals and they aren’t always going to be right! They’re also entitled to their feelings! If Earth wants to confide in Sun bc he’s the only one who hasn’t hurt her, that’s fair! She’s not being a b!tch who’s over exaggerating what everyone has done. She’s been hurt by people who were *never* supposed to hurt her! Shes just getting tired of it and is doing something about it! Also I see people talk constantly about writing or continuity or whatever the f*ck and I’m like, yeah! They’ve been writing for 2 almost 3 years straight, finite details are bound to get lost! Just because you binged the whole series 5 times and Lunar said one thing last year and said the exact opposite on today’s episode doesn’t mean it’s poorly written! For a show that’s posted every single day FOR FREE, it is very well written. I’m just tired of seeing people constantly complain about the show every episode… like, say something good for once, geez…
i like eclipse, ruin, and bloodmoon + other villians + francis just because hes francis but srsly istg eclipse legit said multiple times he wants to strangle someone (begining of the channel , october take-over, he said he wanted to strangle lunar + recently eaps episodes he says he wants to strangle puppet + francis atleast once) ruin destroyed trillions of dimensions, and manipulated/gaslit everyone, he pretended to be 'infected' wth a virus and people defend him bloodmoon is legit a blood-thirsty animatronic with little to no remorse, and people like him wahvawmvj all this drama is why im going to only binge-watch all of the episodes when the security breach shows are actually finished + gone + i finish all of fnaf chronicals/mangotango uploads because i miss him and his videos ;-;
EXACTLY. It's the same thing with Moon and Puppet. I've seen someone say Puppet is a horrible person while Ruin was just "doing the only thing he could". As if Ruin didn't EXPLICITLY state he didn't look for anyone to help because he assumed it was going to come up with nothing. Or that Nexus was better than Moon, and Moon is evil and stuff. Literally the second Nexus died, people started hating Moon again.
On Kats tumblr she confirmed she will no longer be writing the script or lore to TLAES. She will still be voice acting her characters like Earth, Pollux, Dazzle, etc. Though she’s stated she does not wanna partake and/or be involved with anything TSBS related no longer. She won’t be interacting with the fandom anymore. Now she is just solely from what I’ve gathered, one of the voice actors
I didn’t have any problems with the episode at all, I thought it was so sweet and heartfelt for Sun and Earth to connect in that way! I can’t believe people are getting so butthurt for no reason about Earth, literally what is there to hate about her? She is definitely the most over-hated character in the fandom, people just find ANY reason to hate on her, picking apart every little flaw when… you know… CHARACTERS AREN’T SUPPOSED TO BE PERFECT?? THEM HAVING FLAWS IS… YOU KNOW… PART OF THE STORY?? WHAT?? Ironically, Earth in the story has talked about how there’s always so many expectations to be perfect put on her and how it’s a big point of insecurity for her, and yet the fans are LITERALLY DOING THAT EXACT SAME THING, dog piling on her any time she makes a tiny mistake! They don’t do this with any of the male characters, it’s ONLY her! Seems like some bullshit to me.
For real, though! Like yeah, I get some annoyance with Earth expecting Lunar to come back when she’s been told he’d been kicked out, but like, one, it’s a complicated situation right now, two, it wasn’t what the episode was about, and three, it’s no reason to attack the character. She’s very reasonably angry, and it might be clouding herself a bit, she even acted on impulse, which is something that doesn’t happen for her, which again, is probably the result of high emotions. Nobody is going to be themselves when angry. Nexus is still fresh on Earth’s mind, and she feels horrible about it, and then Lunar hurts her to the point of her almost dying just like her experience with Nexus. It’s a lot to process, and it would be a miracle if she kept herself levelheaded.
Seriously! I’ll admit I have had times where I didn’t love earth’s character. But I’ve had that, with every single character at times. But at the end of the day, I love the show, I love the characters and earth IS a great character! She’s not always my favorite, but to hate on her so strongly is cruel. People need to grow up a little bit and realize just how cruel it is to hate on a character that hard for no reason.

It's not fair, and I get that the plot can go somewhere you don't like but you have to accept it and enjoy it, whether you like it or not. Blood Moon can kill thousands of people and people will call him "a baby boy who does no wrong" but the moment Earth does something even remotely selfish she's the "worse person in the world and should die".
This is so true! I've seen people hating on Puppet too for what she did to her dimension but at the same time they defend Ruin while he did something worse and doesn't even regret it. Davis pointed this out too. Why are people like this? If any female character makes one little mistake they immediately hate on them and they should k!ll themselves. But when it's a male character then they immediately defend them with saying that "Omg no! They didn't mean! They're so innocent! It's not their fault!" And this is so stupid. Dude I hate this fandom so much sometimes. Some of the people that are in it that I’ve interacted with, ended up being really rude and toxic and a lot of other things. I respect the hell out of Davis for these words, and all the love to Kat. Here's my 2 cents, I agree Davis is right in almost every way. Personally I don't really like how Lunar's little arc is going right now(Felt just a tiny bit rushed, I think Rez should have manipulated him for a little longer to feel more convincing and then would have been perfect), but I just normally don't comment on it, me personaly not enjoying it doesn't mean I have to shit on the creators, that would make no sense. About defending male characters that made bad things, but hating on female characters that did one wrong. I think that's one of those "really loud minority vs a quiet majority" cases, cuz most people in the comments have been on Earth's side from what I saw. I defend Ruin a bit for I can see it from his perspective. He believed he did a rightous act. Killed trillions to save more than sixtilions, took revenge for himself and all the friends he lost to decades of torture, and expressed that he spent years searching for another way, debating if the sacrifice was worth it when he saw it was the only way. Does that make him a morally good character? ABSOLUTELY NOT. He's a very well writen grey character, and that's exactly why I love him. For a female character...most of the ones in the shows I watch, I like and understand perfectly why they are acting the way they are acting right now. My only critic goes for Pollux that is being a a bit of a hypocrite lately, but that's small potatos I have never commented about before.

I could understand a bit of the Earth hate very early on because she just seemed to be like the perfect character who could do no wrong but she's evolved so much since then and I don't understand the hate for Earth now.

I honestly understood why her and Sun made their promise. I understand why Lunar is hateful of Eclipse and what happened to Earth was an accident. But Kat is being attacked for this because she plays a character. Earth's none of that she's hurt she thought her brothers should help her and Sun. But Lunar had an outburst at her. And she goes to Sun thinking he's the one that won't hurt her and I hope thats the case. Moon's done bad stuff too. And he's trying to change. Heck he abused Sun. Everyone has done wrong in their life is what I'm saying here. And that makes us human. But we try to change and move pass it.

The amount of work Davis, Kat and Reed put into their work is amazing. Between the series's they upload regularly on their own channels as well as the voice acting and body acting they do for other channels then the writing and acting for Lunar and Earth, Sun and Moon and the Eclipse and Puppet show. They dedicate themselves to their work and do amazing yet they're met with toxicity, insult and downright creepy content(the pro incest and probelematic fics that run wild). It's tragic and they deserve better for the effort they put into their work
I'm so sad for the female characters, they dont deserve all that. I love Earth, she's been consistently one of my favorite characters ever since she was introduced, and I love Kat and her work. It really hurts knowing she and the other female characters get so much unnecessary hate for the littlest things and then those same people turn around and idolize Blood Moon or Nexus. The fandom really needs to do better.
I started watching TSAMS all the way back when they started, and while it was nice at first to have, even if small, a community, but now I really just watch the vids and appreciate what they’ve been giving us all this time, just to find out how much this fandom sucks. I just heard of this situation from this video. I had no idea that this was happening, people can be so stupid over little things that most people won’t. I’m so glad he was able to call people out on their behavior, I don’t see a lot of it since I just watch ppl’s fan animatics and just watch the shows- but I have no idea why ppl dig into earth though, or any of the women in the shows. Again glad he called it out. It’s wild that there’s a significant amount of ppl saying bad mouth stuff towards characters that have any flaw (when it’s not their fave character). Just wild. Davis and kat are doing so amazing on the writing, and what they have earth doing is very valid and a real thing that people do. But yea, I just hope it gets better for all of them. Davis' words are very true, unfortunately there is and will always be that part of the fandom that is so toxic, that will always want the best and do nothing but criticize if it is not what they want. As someone who has been doing character development for 3 years, I can say that it must feel horrible to know that your own community throws that away and gives it little importance. I really hope Kat is okay with all this that is happening, and we should feel lucky that they make DAILY content for our entertainment and for free. About the hate towards the characters, I find this very ridiculous... Earth is not being selfish, she is being what she deserves to be, she has been through a lot, she has been very empathetic, kind and understanding with everyone, she deserves to put herself first. Personally I find her to be a good character, who despite going through all that trauma, still wants to help others but she doesn't receive the same help and that's the sad thing about it... If we continue like this, very soon we will end up with a bad image of our fandom, like furries, gachatubers, etc. People as talented as Davis, Reed and Kat will no longer feel the joy of making these series and there would be possibilities of leaving those positions that they have worked so hard to get just because of toxic people... Their still people and no one should have so much hate put on them to the point of them crying. These are still people and it's just characters in a show. The actors mean more than the characters. You know, I’ve definitely noticed the dislike of Earth. For example, my friend, who is a fan of Nexus, has stated multiple times, that they aren’t a massive fan of Earth. I can relate that way, but I can’t relate to just straight hating on her. That is genuinely disappointing. I’m happy Davis can bring himself to say this. There are quite a few channels that I could think of that couldn’t get themselves to. Which is sad. That’s a basic right. This is just bad. Before, I didn’t quite notice the extra hate towards female characters… But now, retracing my experiences, I notice the higher amounts of dislike towards them. That’s sad. I feel bad for Kat. She’s done nothing wrong. Even if she did, this extensive amount of hate is really not needed. Overall, this was sad to watch (+ realise). Hopefully something in the entirety of the TSBS fandom(s) shifts.
O my god this community is nuts. Are people really get this upset over freaking fictional characters, that they start the freaking dumpster of VA's? I will never understand some people on any fandom or shows or anything. You don’t have to like everything about it but you should at least be respectful of everyone involved. At the hard work & time that goes into these things. I myself may not like some characters but I still enjoy the shows & still have respect into the work that goes into this. There is no reason to bash on the people involved. I always try to look at every perspective of the characters & I love how things are going. I don’t like people pushing the voice actors or anyone who try to enjoy what they make to the point they want to quit. I don’t even blame any of the voice actors if they wanted to stop for either awhile or for good. I would be sad but to me the people who create should always put themselves first. I personally love and thankful for everything that you all do to put into the work you try to enjoy.
I’m going to be very honest. I don’t like the way that the “evil Lunar” arc is playing out right now, and I’ve always had mixed feelings about Earth. But the amount of *SHIT* that Kats getting right now is fucking disgusting. Behind every show is a cast of people making it. And your allowed to have criticisms about it, and your allowed to not like certain characters, but disliking a character JUST BECAUSE OF THEIR GENDER, *AND BECAUSE THEY HAD O N E SELFISH MOMENT,* IS JUST STUPID. These people have like a _week_ to plan out what they’re going to do next, and with that amount of time to plan out a whole story arc, you’re bound to have a few bad ones. Does that give you the right to harass these people over it? *NO.* These shows has helped me and _so many others_ get through the worst times of our lives. Because it shows that even though life might throw everything it has at you, even when you just want to find a hole and let yourself rot away in misery, the bad times will subside. doesn’t mean it’ll be soon, but it will stop. We owe our lives to Davis, Kat, and Reed. So we should give them nothing but love and support, even when they aren’t doing their best. I hope Kat can someday see that we all love her no matter what, even if she doesn’t have the best writing sometimes, we’ll still love her and just be grateful that we get the privilege to see what she writes.

She’s not my favorite but I do like her. If you don’t like her, just don’t watch any of the shows anymore. It’s not that hard
This is exactly why I don't engage with this fandom. It's immature at best and absolutely toxic at worst. I am so happy whenever the episode drops in EVERY SINGLE DAY cos they really don't have to do it. They don't have to play those characters and share their stories with us. And I am so happy to see Earth and Dazzle (AND Puppet). They grew so much, they have such an incredible character and bring so much fresh air to the show. Not gonna lie, I was so glad when Earth appeared cos it was such a sausage fest. Like FINALLY we've got a gal in the show! A lovable person who tries her best even tho her origins were as murky and sad as her brothers'. She evolves, has both great qualities as well as flaws (like a good character DOES) and I love Kat's voice for her! I absolutely ADORE her bond with Sun and the last episode made me smile so much! Learning that people for some stupid reason hated it gave me a whip lash of a year. Like... how? I don't understand? What the hell is wrong with you guys?? Are we watching the same shows?? And then there is Dazzle, who is absolutely adorable sweetheart, a REALLY needed balance in the crazy world of animatronics. She is still a lil goof but gives calmer, kinder vibe and she brings out the best out of Jack and her relationship with Sun is just... AH. Again, a great balance! Sweet, funky lil gal! I really don't know what is wrong with the 'fandom' (paraphrasing 'fandom' cos how can you call it any form of 'fan-anything'). And I don't intend to mingle in it. I will continue appreciating shows on my own and hope that maybe, just maybe, Earth will continue to be a big part of it cos she is THE QUEEN and I am always happy to see her.

About to go on thanksgiving vacation so I’ll be making some Earth, Ballora, fem Monty, and Puppet art in support. I’ll put it in the discord. I’m very disappointed with the treatment those people in the fandom are giving her. I think Earth and Kat are amazing! Also, that’s coming from a BM fan. I once had a bad day and literally only watched Earth content to feel better. She’s fun, she’s kind, and she’s misunderstood by the fandom. I think I’ll draw all of them having a tea party. I’m gonna give earth a pretty fluffy dress and pamper her with aesthetic design.
I really don’t like that the fandom is just hating on earth. Like I love the women characters so much because I feel like they’re all strong in their own way. Sometimes I don’t like something a character does in the story but it doesn’t matter because they’re fictional characters used to make a story. Oh my god, I’m so glad you uploaded this, because this is so important to get out there. I didn’t know this was happening, and it’s actually so disgusting how people tend to forget that ANYONE can see the comments, or literally anything you post, online. And they tend to forget that there are real people behind these shows and characters that tries their best. These days, people on the internet has gotten so used to sharing everything, and don’t ever think about the consequences, since they are protected with anonymity, I feel like it brings out their true colors in the worst ways. I love Earth, genuinely one of my favorite characters, hell, I even have her as a main vocal point of one of my giant fanfics I’ve been working on for a year. I love Puppet too, she is such a fascinating character, and the VA really gives her a certain charm about her that makes me want to see more of Puppet in videos (so glad she has her own conjoined channel.) I didn’t know blatant sexism was happening, and I’m so disappointed in every single one of those people. As an Agender person, who was born a female, I know how sexism can feel, and it’s the most fucking frustrating and awful feeling. As a community, we should begin learning to be kinder. If we fight back against this in any way we can, we can make a difference. And I’d say a small difference is better than nothing at all

And the fact that she's Davis's girlfriend, I'm certain that really pisses him off too, making him feel the need to protect her more. Look, I get it. "Oh, I don't like this character!" Don't go and harass the VAs! They're people too, they have their own problems and mental health to take care of. It is a PRIVILEGE to have these channels in the first place! And yeah, I noticed this stuff, too. And I frankly thought that most of the SBS fandom was not gonna lie, mostly girls, as I am one, so this was not something I was expecting. I hate when people like a bad character and be like they did nothing wrong and then shit on a good character that's gone through things. They don't have to do it out loud either like keep in your head. Also I don't understand the hate for the women because I think they do really well. I hope Kat is doing ok or she feels better soon. Right now I feel so bad, especially I feel bad for Kat. Out of the shows together Earth or Dazzle may not be in my top favorites but I've never disliked them, I've never seen anything wrong with them in my opinion. If I ranked my favorites of the Lunar and Earth show alone, I love Earth, she's one of my top 3 favorites. I feel so bad for what Kat is being put through by us, the fans. I haven't seen what episode Davis is talking about because I've been working on re-catching up on everything that's happened in both shows (SAMs and LAEs)
Gosh. Never have I EVER thought that this fandom would be so... Disappointing, and yes, I KNOW there are some good and amazing people in this fandom, but it seems like others want to ruin somethings or that they just don't like something because they think they deserve it and are entitled to it. Which they aren't nor do they deserve it. This has happened WAY too many times, and it NEEDS to stop. Just imagine this, you were an AMAZING content creator that suddenly got hate for "bad" or "terrible" writing and are or still being told death threats. Which is NEVER EVER ok. People like that make me SO disappointed, like WHY do you think that would be OKAY?! And I deeply apologies for this, but sadly I can't apologies for those people. THEY should. And should I mention that NOONE is perfect no matter how hard we try, and that's okay. But I will not, nor can I speak for her. And I do too respect Davis, and how he isn't afraid to put us in our place. Gosh I wish some people were better. And knew how to treat content creators with some kindness and respect.

It's so heartbreaking to hear that Kat was in tears from people being so negative about the character she played as. Like- what the hell is wrong with people?? I stay away from the bad end of things, but god that is just cruel that people have her feeling this way, I don't blame her if she does end up not being a part of the shows one day. It's her right to either wanna stay or go, she shouldn't have to put up with people's bull like that. We really don't deserve her or the rest of this amazing team from the shows, they post their videos daily and without charging anyone for it, these guys are talented as all heck and deserve nothing but respect for what they do. They go so far and I really am thankful for each and every one of them.
As someone who is currently getting harassed themselves, I fully sympathize with Kat. I've been forced to change my username and profile pic on the main social media sites I use because there's people (mainly adults) who are going around bashing me for things I didn't even do. The only reason I'm still in TSBS Community is because of the friends who are defending me, otherwise I'd have left this toxic fanbase a long time ago. My harassment has been going on for nearly two months and it's been really affecting my mental health. It took soooooo much kind words from my friends for me to finally feel better, and I seriously hope that the people who are hating on Kat and myself grow up real fast because they're acting like literal children hating on a person on the internet who's just trying to do their jobs at making people happy.
I agree completely with Davis!!! Reed, Davis, Kat, and any other people involved with the show, are amazing, the writing, anything. Is amazing, and I love how Davis comes off about this, he’s allowed too be mad about this. Their all allowed, and honestly, I’m glad that we get this show for free! I hope Kat is okay. I love every character, and I really don't want anyone to quit... TSaMs and TLaEs are my comfort shows and Earth and Dazzle are a few of my comfort characters and it breaks my heart knowing that people think that just because they don't like a character or don't like the writing of a character it means they have the right to hate on the writers and VAs.

When Davis said that every single one of us in the SBS fandom HATES women, I felt a pang of sympathy for all the female characters because they are ALL amazing characters. I used to hate Miku because of how annoying she was, but now I just see her as one of us, one of the fans (plus, she is a hilarious character); I don't watch the Cassie and Helpi show, so I don't really know how she acts. Overall, I think the female characters are well-written and amazing and I am FURIOUS that loads of people are ranting about these guys

On Kats tumblr she confirmed she will no longer be writing the script or lore to TLAES. She will still be voice acting her characters like Earth, Pollux, Dazzle, etc. Though she’s stated she does not wanna partake and/or be involved with anything TSBS related no longer. She won’t be interacting with the fandom anymore. Now she is just solely from what I’ve gathered, one of the voice actors
I didn’t have any problems with the episode at all, I thought it was so sweet and heartfelt for Sun and Earth to connect in that way! I can’t believe people are getting so butthurt for no reason about Earth, literally what is there to hate about her? She is definitely the most over-hated character in the fandom, people just find ANY reason to hate on her, picking apart every little flaw when… you know… CHARACTERS AREN’T SUPPOSED TO BE PERFECT?? THEM HAVING FLAWS IS… YOU KNOW… PART OF THE STORY?? WHAT?? Ironically, Earth in the story has talked about how there’s always so many expectations to be perfect put on her and how it’s a big point of insecurity for her, and yet the fans are LITERALLY DOING THAT EXACT SAME THING, dog piling on her any time she makes a tiny mistake! They don’t do this with any of the male characters, it’s ONLY her! Seems like some bullshit to me.
For real, though! Like yeah, I get some annoyance with Earth expecting Lunar to come back when she’s been told he’d been kicked out, but like, one, it’s a complicated situation right now, two, it wasn’t what the episode was about, and three, it’s no reason to attack the character. She’s very reasonably angry, and it might be clouding herself a bit, she even acted on impulse, which is something that doesn’t happen for her, which again, is probably the result of high emotions. Nobody is going to be themselves when angry. Nexus is still fresh on Earth’s mind, and she feels horrible about it, and then Lunar hurts her to the point of her almost dying just like her experience with Nexus. It’s a lot to process, and it would be a miracle if she kept herself levelheaded.
Seriously! I’ll admit I have had times where I didn’t love earth’s character. But I’ve had that, with every single character at times. But at the end of the day, I love the show, I love the characters and earth IS a great character! She’s not always my favorite, but to hate on her so strongly is cruel. People need to grow up a little bit and realize just how cruel it is to hate on a character that hard for no reason.

It's not fair, and I get that the plot can go somewhere you don't like but you have to accept it and enjoy it, whether you like it or not. What's happening to Kat is genuinely horrible, she's genuinely such a sweet person and she doesn't deserve any of this hate. This is why I HATE interacting with this disgusting fandom. Blood Moon can kill thousands of people and people will call him "a baby boy who does no wrong" but the moment Earth does something even remotely selfish she's the "worse person in the world and should die".

This is so true! I've seen people hating on Puppet too for what she did to her dimension but at the same time they defend Ruin while he did something worse and doesn't even regret it. Davis pointed this out too. Why are people like this? If any female character makes one little mistake they immediately hate on them and they should k!ll themselves. But when it's a male character then they immediately defend them with saying that "Omg no! They didn't mean! They're so innocent! It's not their fault!" And this is so stupid. I don't want to hear/see any villain fan judge Earth ever again. Of course I'm not saying that people can't like villains before anybody misunderstands! I'm just saying that acknowledge their horrible actions and don't pretend like it's not their fault. For example my favorite character was always Eclipse but I never supported his actions nor did I defend them or hate on the characters that killed him. Same goes for Nexus. And I saw a bunch of people begging earth to just forgive lunar which is crazy, he could’ve killed her. The misogyny and his fandom is very disappointing.

Dude I hate this fandom so much sometimes. Some of the people that are in it that I’ve interacted with, ended up being really rude and toxic and a lot of other things. Not saying ALL of them are, a lot of them are nice. I feel so bad for Kat, and all the actors. This is unacceptable behaviour. Glad Davis talked about it. Kat needs to take a break, she deserves it. Here's my 2 cents, I agree Davis is right in almost every way.
Personally I don't really like how Lunar's little arc is going right now(Felt just a tiny bit rushed, I think Rez should have manipulated him for a little longer to feel more convincing and then would have been perfect), but I just normally don't comment on it, me personaly not enjoying it doesn't mean I have to shit on the creators, that would make no sense.
About defending male characters that made bad things, but hating on female characters that did one wrong. I think that's one of those "really loud minority vs a quiet majority" cases, cuz most people in the comments have been on Earth's side from what I saw.
I defend Ruin a bit for I can see it from his perspective. He believed he did a rightous act. Killed trillions to save more than sixtilions, took revenge for himself and all the friends he lost to decades of torture, and expressed that he spent years searching for another way, debating if the sacrifice was worth it when he saw it was the only way. Does that make him a morally good character? ABSOLUTELY NOT. He's a very well writen grey character, and that's exactly why I love him.
For a female character...most of the ones in the shows I watch, I like and understand perfectly why they are acting the way they are acting right now. My only critic goes for Pollux that is being a a bit of a hypocrite lately, but that's small potatos I have never commented about before.

I could understand a bit of the Earth hate very early on because she just seemed to be like the perfect character who could do no wrong but she's evolved so much since then and I don't understand the hate for Earth now.
I knew people hate Earth’s character or whatever but not to this extent. Seriously wtf. I genuinely love Kat’s work both in tsams and her other personal series and it really suck to hear how much this is affecting her. I hope she’s know that people do appreciate her work and that she feels better💜
I honestly understood why her and Sun made their promise. I understand why Lunar is hateful of Eclipse and what happened to Earth was an accident. But Kat is being attacked for this because she plays a character. Earth's none of that she's hurt she thought her brothers should help her and Sun. But Lunar had an outburst at her. And she goes to Sun thinking he's the one that won't hurt her and I hope thats the case. Moon's done bad stuff too. And he's trying to change. Heck he abused Sun. Everyone has done wrong in their life is what I'm saying here. And that makes us human. But we try to change and move pass it.

The amount of work Davis, Kat and Reed put into their work is amazing. Between the series's they upload regularly on their own channels as well as the voice acting and body acting they do for other channels then the writing and acting for Lunar and Earth, Sun and Moon and the Eclipse and Puppet show. They dedicate themselves to their work and do amazing yet they're met with toxicity, insult and downright creepy content(the pro incest and probelematic fics that run wild). It's tragic and they deserve better for the effort they put into their work
I'm so sad for the female characters, they dont deserve all that. I love Earth, she's been consistently one of my favorite characters ever since she was introduced, and I love Kat and her work. It really hurts knowing she and the other female characters get so much unnecessary hate for the littlest things and then those same people turn around and idolize Blood Moon or Nexus. The fandom really needs to do better.
I started watching TSAMS all the way back when they started, and while it was nice at first to have, even if small, a community, but now I really just watch the vids and appreciate what they’ve been giving us all this time, just to find out how much this fandom sucks. Davis' words are very true, unfortunately there is and will always be that part of the fandom that is so toxic, that will always want the best and do nothing but criticize if it is not what they want. As someone who has been doing character development for 3 years, I can say that it must feel horrible to know that your own community throws that away and gives it little importance. I really hope Kat is okay with all this that is happening, and we should feel lucky that they make DAILY content for our entertainment and for free.
About the hate towards the characters, I find this very ridiculous... Earth is not being selfish, she is being what she deserves to be, she has been through a lot, she has been very empathetic, kind and understanding with everyone, she deserves to put herself first. Personally I find her to be a good character, who despite going through all that trauma, still wants to help others but she doesn't receive the same help and that's the sad thing about it... If we continue like this, very soon we will end up with a bad image of our fandom, like furries, gachatubers, etc. People as talented as Davis, Reed and Kat will no longer feel the joy of making these series and there would be possibilities of leaving those positions that they have worked so hard to get just because of toxic people... You know, I’ve definitely noticed the dislike of Earth. For example, my friend, who is a fan of Nexus, has stated multiple times, that they aren’t a massive fan of Earth.

GUYS BECAUSE OF THIS PEOPLE WE IN FIRST PLACE GET THIS AMAZING SHOW!! And I don't care if the writing is crap. I return home everyday after exhausting day. And this shows are the only thing that keeps me up at ease. Only thing that I think in a middle of a day and say "It's okay, when this all over I can watch the new videos". And it gives me just this enough energy to go through it.
I love the characters to the bits, I love the story that they share and tell us. I LOVE THE IDEA!! I am amazed with this people who are so dedicated to this stupid little show. And I can't even start to explain how much, this people are inspiring me.

I’m going to be very honest. I don’t like the way that the “evil Lunar” arc is playing out right now, and I’ve always had mixed feelings about Earth. But the amount of *SHIT* that Kats getting right now is fucking disgusting. Behind every show is a cast of people making it. And your allowed to have criticisms about it, and your allowed to not like certain characters, but disliking a character JUST BECAUSE OF THEIR GENDER, *AND BECAUSE THEY HAD O N E SELFISH MOMENT,* IS JUST STUPID.
These people have like a _week_ to plan out what they’re going to do next, and with that amount of time to plan out a whole story arc, you’re bound to have a few bad ones. Does that give you the right to harass these people over it? *NO.*
These shows has helped me and _so many others_ get through the worst times of our lives. Because it shows that even though life might throw everything it has at you, even when you just want to find a hole and let yourself rot away in misery, the bad times will subside. doesn’t mean it’ll be soon, but it will stop. We owe our lives to Davis, Kat, and Reed. So we should give them nothing but love and support, even when they aren’t doing their best.
I hope Kat can someday see that we all love her no matter what, even if she doesn’t have the best writing sometimes, we’ll still love her and just be grateful that we get the privilege to see what she writes.

This is exactly why I don't engage with this fandom. It's immature at best and absolutely toxic at worst. I am so happy whenever the episode drops in EVERY SINGLE DAY cos they really don't have to do it. They don't have to play those characters and share their stories with us. And I am so happy to see Earth and Dazzle (AND Puppet). They grew so much, they have such an incredible character and bring so much fresh air to the show. Not gonna lie, I was so glad when Earth appeared cos it was such a sausage fest. Like FINALLY we've got a gal in the show! A lovable person who tries her best even tho her origins were as murky and sad as her brothers'. She evolves, has both great qualities as well as flaws (like a good character DOES) and I love Kat's voice for her! I absolutely ADORE her bond with Sun and the last episode made me smile so much! Learning that people for some stupid reason hated it gave me a whip lash of a year. Like... how? I don't understand? What the hell is wrong with you guys?? Are we watching the same shows?? And then there is Dazzle, who is absolutely adorable sweetheart, a REALLY needed balance in the crazy world of animatronics. She is still a lil goof but gives calmer, kinder vibe and she brings out the best out of Jack and her relationship with Sun is just... AH. Again, a great balance! Sweet, funky lil gal!
I really don't know what is wrong with the 'fandom' (paraphrasing 'fandom' cos how can you call it any form of 'fan-anything'). And I don't intend to mingle in it. I will continue appreciating shows on my own and hope that maybe, just maybe, Earth will continue to be a big part of it cos she is THE QUEEN and I am always happy to see her.

Oh my god, I’m so glad you uploaded this, because this is so important to get out there. I didn’t know this was happening, and it’s actually so disgusting how people tend to forget that ANYONE can see the comments, or literally anything you post, online. And they tend to forget that there are real people behind these shows and characters that tries their best.
These days, people on the internet has gotten so used to sharing everything, and don’t ever think about the consequences, since they are protected with anonymity, I feel like it brings out their true colors in the worst ways.
I love Earth, genuinely one of my favorite characters, hell, I even have her as a main vocal point of one of my giant fanfics I’ve been working on for a year. I love Puppet too, she is such a fascinating character, and the VA really gives her a certain charm about her that makes me want to see more of Puppet in videos (so glad she has her own conjoined channel.)
I didn’t know blatant sexism was happening, and I’m so disappointed in every single one of those people. As an Agender person, who was born a female, I know how sexism can feel, and it’s the most fucking frustrating and awful feeling.
As a community, we should begin learning to be kinder. If we fight back against this in any way we can, we can make a difference. And I’d say a small difference is better than nothing at all

I've been forced to change my username and profile pic on the main social media sites I use because there's people (mainly adults) who are going around bashing me for things I didn't even do. The only reason I'm still in TSBS Community is because of the friends who are defending me, otherwise I'd have left this toxic fanbase a long time ago. My harassment has been going on for nearly two months and it's been really affecting my mental health. It took soooooo much kind words from my friends for me to finally feel better, and I seriously hope that the people who are hating on Kat and myself grow up real fast because they're acting like literal children hating on a person on the internet who's just trying to do their jobs at making people happy.

Reed, Davis, Kat, and any other people involved with the show, are amazing, the writing, anything. Is amazing, and I love how Davis comes off about this, he’s allowed too be mad about this. Their all allowed, and honestly, I’m glad that we get this show for free! They post every fcking day, he should show them some respect, for the time and effort they put in this. And yes, I can be selfish, self entitled, yes. But, I know when I am and I make up for it. And this is genuinely stupid on what’s going on, Kat deserves better, her character(s) are amazing, and genuinely well acted, along with all others. And it is true, the fandom, get hella upset about females having the slightest bit of trauma, and selfishness. Like aren’t half the viewers females? Like wtf? Just bed the character is female doesn’t say ‘oh, blank has been through worse’ or ‘blank, is such a bad character because of this’ like. Omg, you can like Nexus the character were kinda supposed to hate. And no, I’m not dropping my opinion on characters here, your allowed to like this character more than others, but it does not give you a reason too harass the va’s about the character.
To be fair, they owe us nothing. They could stop the show whenever, however. The least we can do is show them some damn respect.
Sorry for the cursing, call me out abt it I don’t really care. But, let’s be real. This p!sses most of us off. People should not treat other people like that. Yes, they ‘costplay’ in so,e people’s words. But they are people too, and if you can’t except that, why are you watching the show, you can do much more with your life instead of trying to get under peoples skin. And again, I’m really sorry Kat. These are real people with real feelings. And unless they are doing something to cause harm to others in the community we don’t have any reason to send so much hate to them. “Waaa!! The writing sucks because the story that isn’t just for me and isn’t written by me didn’t go the way I wanted it to!!” Isn’t a good reason to make Kat cry. She is literally so sweet and doesn’t deserve that.
If the fandom keeps this up like Davis said they might not want to do this anymore. And while that might be unfortunate for those who aren’t causing problems in the fandom it’s also unfair for the VA’s. I can tell they have a lot of fun doing this and to feel like they might not want to do something fun for them anymore because of the fandom is so upsetting.

I hope Kat is okay. I love every character, and I really don't want anyone to quit... TSaMs and TLaEs are my comfort shows and Earth and Dazzle are a few of my comfort characters and it breaks my heart knowing that people think that just because they don't like a character or don't like the writing of a character it means they have the right to hate on the writers and VAs.
I hope Kat is okay. This fandom is surprisingly toxic at times, and I don't understand why. Because Davis is right. A lot of hate is sent to women in these shows. But I didn't realize HOW bad it is.
