  • THIS IS MY 1978 LUCKY SEVEN PINBALL MACHINE AND IS THE VERY FIRST GAME I EVER OWNED. I HAVE OWNED THIS MACHINE SINCE CHRISTMAS OF 1980. ALL ORIGINAL CONDITION. THIS IS WILLIAMS SECOND SOLID STATE GAME AND LAST ONE WITH CHIMES. THIS GAME ALSO CAME IN A ELECTRO MECHANICAL VERSION AND WAS THE LAST EM PIN THAT WILLIAMS MADE. MY GAME IS THE SEEVEND EXPORT MODEL THAT HAS THE DIFFERENT SLOT REELS AND RED POP BUMPER CAPS WHICH IS HARDER TO FIND IN THE STATES. VERY UNDERRATED GAME THAT YOU NEED GOOD FLIPPER SKILLS TO PLAY SUCCESSFULLY. THIS IS THE GAME I LEARNED MY FLIPPER CONTROL ON. THIS GAME IS STILL FUN TO PLAY AFTER ALL OF THESE YEARS AND STILL GETS PLAYED ALOT. THIS WILL ALWAYS BE A PERMANENT PART OF MY COLLECTION.

I remember playing this game in a bowling alley around 1982 or so. Not a bad game.

I first played this game in 1983. (I was 10 years old) An ice cream parlor had this game, and according to the instruction sheet, it was set at 3-ball, and replays at 250,000, and 350,000. However, it was set at 5-ball, and you could get a replay at 200,000, and set and additional replays at every 100,000 more points (at 300,000, 400,000, and so on) and I could be playing that game for hours. About a year in a half later the vendor finally fixed it so it was set up according to the instruction card.

Great story sir. Thanks for sharing. I own a Lucky 7 but I've only played it for about 30 minutes. I bought it from someone and it wasn't ready....I fiddled around with it and had to take it back to him...still waiting on it. It's been two years now. I hope to get my Lucky 7 back soon. ^_^

Definitely a game that grows on you! Got rid of mine last year after rebuilding it and having it for about 15 years. It's a slow player, but very cool game. Miss it.

Nice so you are older then me I was born in 1982 and just turned 38 April 1st. :)
I sadly do not think there are any photos with me playing pinball machines in the arcade though. :|
We did not have much growing up and we used disposable cameras if we ever did have a cam. :)
If I could go back in time and meet my younger self I think I would blow my young mind as I never thought it possible to own a pinball machine at home.
I always thought well Arcades had pinball machines and that is only were they can be.
If I told my younger self that not only can you own them and put em in your house I also restore the machines I think my younger self's mind would be blown and have deer in the head lights look.
I am currently restoring a Star Trek 25th Anniversary Pinball made by Data East back in 1991. :)
Going slow on the restore but I like taking it slow so I get most of the problems taken care of. ;)

I just got one in "project" condition. I am worried about the heavily yellowed plastics and the extremely dirty slot reels getting clean. I am looking forward to playing it someday!
