    Literally the first video showing the H-Bomb with and without the decibel killers.
    Thank you 😊

      Video does not do them justice. Not as loud as the Harley in my previous vid. but they sound so sweet! Deeper mellow tone at normal speeds and really wake up when you are giving it the beans!

      @@TimeWranglerJourney...I ended up going for a Hitchcox drag system, slash cut and added decibel killers. Motone are no longer producing exhausts in the UK

    I'd suggest doing the 12 minute tune, I went for the TEC X pipe and the British Custom straight drags and my 2017 Bobber ran and sounded sounded like a fridge being dragged over cobblestones at first:
    1. Start your bike without touching the throttle.
    2. Wait till the bike reaches 190F, This is simple the fan will come on.
    3. Continue idling for 12 more minutes, then let it cool.
    This gives the ECU the opportunity to learn the new set up.
    Cheers chaps!

      We did the 12min. tune this evening. Made a short video of it. Hope to have it up soon! Thanks.

      @@MikeVieira If you REALLY want to make the bike creamy smooth in every gear (even 6th) get a tune from DNK. It truly makes the bike perform as it should without the cat and with straight through pipes. Plenty of vids on TH-cam. My experience was really good, although it can be a little scary to do! I have no affiliation with DNK, just a very happy bunny! 👍

    I actually like the sound of the stock bobber... but this is definitely something to think about if I get bored with it.

      I was totally expecting a cool reaction out of him like his brothers in the previous vid. I don't don't know who was more disappointed. He says I was! Lol. He rode the bike to work in 30 deg temps the next morning. Had to show his Harley coworkers!

      When it first started and you could see his face. I thought oh no he doesn't like the sound. But glad you got it figured out. Sounds good 👍

    Thanks for taking the time to make this video and share. The community learns alot this way. I have a question; Do you need to "tune" the bike after deleting the cat and installing all new exhaust? And, the o2 sensors are still needed?

    • @TimeWranglerJourney
      @TimeWranglerJourney  ปีที่แล้ว

      You are welcome, the pipes come with the O2 bungs built in and the stock sensors fit as before. Another viewer shared a tune that we did a follow-up video of. Called 12 min. Tune. The bike should adjust, but that being said I do think the tune did make a difference. We now have a little over 10,000 mi. on the bike and it runs and sounds great.

      @@TimeWranglerJourneySo to be clear, there is an aftermarket tuner on the bike? What brand? Was it funk tuned as well? Also, curious if you run the bike without the FB killers? Thanks...

    • @TimeWranglerJourney
      @TimeWranglerJourney  ปีที่แล้ว

      I did not use a tune. Basically recalibrated the computer and sensor to the open or free flowing exhaust. We run it without the decibel killer / baffle. Runs very good! It is plenty fast. In fact I noticed just the other day for I had not ridden it in a while. (The bike is my youngest son's.) That it seems to be taller geared than my Indian. Meaning I am much higher on the speedo compared to the gear I am in. It excelerates quit nicely.

    So you didnt show ir explain how you removed the cat. It appears that you needed to loosen the bike frame to get it out?

    • @TimeWranglerJourney
      @TimeWranglerJourney  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is correct, we loosened the left frame rail. The cat has some rubber grommets / cushions. It happened a little fast in the video but up in the corner video you will see me from the far side of the bike reach under and give it a little pry and it dropped right out. You are pulling against the rubber grommets / mounts. Hope this helps.
