Using ai and copying the design/art style is stealing real people’s art. Even though it is artificially made, the ai was trained off of real artists work so you are technically stealing their art or oc. What we should do as artists is not interact with ai at all and use real references instead. It also helps to be openly against every part of ai so it doesn’t get promoted anymore.
While yes it would be an issue if they were generating it themselves, they are taking existing photos off of Pinterest. They're already made so there's no harm in giving AI a taste of their own medicine
I understand, we should be against and not interact with ai. However it is really prominent in our spaces regardless if we interact with it or not. At least for me, I made this video because I saw other artist doing it, and I wanted to take these AI ocs (which were being SOLD and I didn’t generate) and to redesign them. Also In no way did I ever claim these are mine nor am I going to use the ocs in future. Also I normally never use ai in anyway, and very much stay against it. This video was just a test of sorts, as well as again, showing even with the use of AI everywhere, artist can still make these pieces without it.
