Ok....my embarrassingly dumb question of the day!!! Finally, after 3 long months...my brand new KTM SX F 350 is in and being delivered tomorrow morning! Do you all actually just put your average 93 octane gas from any Exxon, QT, Chevron etc? Do I need to add an octane booster? I thought I read the manual said 95 gas. I'm just like you guys.....a "vet" rider, I only know 2 strokes and been off dirt bikes for 20 years (Have had Harleys the entire time but no dirt bike). Seems so darn odd not having to mix gas/oil!
That’s great news! Technically the KTM 350SXF is tuned to run on 91-octane but double check with the dealer to confirm. It’s an adjustment to just throw gas in and not worry about the mix but it’s a nice adjustment! We look forward to hearing how you like the bike.
@@motorbros Yeah, others have gotten back to me as well and you are correct, they say any 93 octane should work fine. I was getting confused reading about RON (and where it says "ROZ 95" in the manual). THANKS! and THANKS for ALL the replies!!! I greatly appreciate you taking the time to reply! I really enjoy your channel and I hope it grows exponentially!
