    I'm not sure if you remember me, but I worked on a project with you at a large company in Minneapolis years and years ago. Very cool to see that you're making this kind of content!

    Useful video! Currently have an issue in the corporation I work at due to region blocking East US 2, it prevents us from performing this task!

    For anyone encountering this issue, note that each specific region has specific paired region for linked services.
    EX: East US and East US 2 require the log analytics workspace in one region and the automation account in another.
    Check azure documentation - automation/how-to/region-mappings/*supported mappings for log analytics and azure automation*

      Hi, when I try to link the log workspace account it only shows the different region, I am using "east us", and it shows "east us 2". my workspace is in east us. Thanks.

      It's not a direct region-to-region mapping for connecting workspaces. Here is a list learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/automation/how-to/region-mappings
