Much nicer than the Generic New GWR stations we've seen a lot of recently.
Possibly because it was built by Brent Council rather than Thameslink.

Yeah, it is quite nice. It's Barnet Council btw, it's very close the border along Edgware Road

The first train was late because of a Power Fault and late Engineering Work Handover.

Grew up in Cricklewood. New station looks great and is really important to the wider Brent Cross regeneration. But the initial plan was for Cricklewood station to be shut down to facilitate Brent Cross West, which would've been a disaster for the town as we already don't have a Tube station. Fortunately it didn't end up happening.

I love going to check station screens, seems everyone else must do too because the north and southbound trains both go there, must be a circle or a big loop or something for them to go opposite directions but end in the same place

Watched it on Jen’s channel. I wonder if Geoff Marshall is also going to do a video of the new Brent Cross West station. I have to say that Brent Cross West station does look really nice, spacious and very brand new.

I usually use that line to Elstree and Borehamwood to meet the EastEnders cast. I shall visit that Station at some point and I think most services will go to Sutton and St Albans

London again gets the nice stuff - plenty of cash to spend down there. Meanwhile in Huddersfield, one in six trains are cancelled and the others are half the size!
Huddersfield, which famously decided, like London did, to fund its own rail infrastructure from its congestion charge.
I caught the (scheduled to be) first service that stopped there this morning at 6am!! Wish I had a chance to meet you guys.
Brilliant video Nick, the midland main line just had to go wrong for Brent Cross West opening didn't it? lol. This is a nice station, I'll be visiting once the weather gets warmer. I'm intrigued to know what's so good about this location called Check Station Screens lol.

Warning: Do NOT go to the shopping center. From BCZ its effectively impossible and from brent cross northern line you bave ti walk down residential roads and ugly narrow walkways that make you feel like its going to fall amd deposit you in your side in the middle of the A406. Just dont, unpleaseant and no signage at all
I did the BCZ - shopping centre walk via both the Tempelhof Avenue bridge and the Staples Corner gyratory today (in the rain). Mind you I'm not a regular Brent Cross visitor and already knew from Street View how ridiculous it would be.
as someone who was on that first northbound train I'm still slightly annoyed that it wasn't us first. Think I was on that second southbound train, just at the other end🙃🙃 great video, did you manage to pick up a celebratory pin?

Such an incredible new station in North London. I love how the station has that airport terminal feel to it and it’s so spacious. Hopefully Thameslink will allow trains to & from Bedford to stop at the new station.
Loved this spot the you tuber episode! Omari ,Jen ,TfL3 and many more , the new station looked good I liked the station shrubbery too.
