As you suggested I gave myself a pat on back. I did try to play the guitar before so I found that to be some help. Nevertheless I'm a slow student, considering I'n gone 75 yrs of age. Thanks to you I'm really enjoying the experience. I also like your approach. I'll write again and let you know how I'm getting on. Thanks from Ireland and keep up the good work.

I am in lockdown at home and decided to learn a musical instrument for the first time in my life and I am nearly 70 years old! I chose a ukulele as I believe it is the easiest to learn. It takes some perseverance at first. Because of your great youtube videos I have learnt 4 chords in 5 days and am hooked. I practise a little every day. I have RA in my hands so it is a bit difficult for me and I have to use a pick. I am enjoying it more each day. Thank you Andy.

My advice to everyone struggling with the G chord is to keep practicing. Twice a day is recommended or 10 minutes sessions through out the day. Practice different combinations and it'll get easier.
I'm amazed at how suddenly my G chord transition is getting better and better. Keep practicing guys.

During this covid-19 pandemic, I have set myself a 21 day challenge to play the ukulele every day in an attempt to make playing music a habit. Your lessons are perfect. You are a very good teacher! Teaching the four chords is brilliant. The songs you choose to teach and to sing are lovely. I'm enjoying playing along with you and am getting better every day with only playing 10-15 minutes each day. As I suspected, playing music is making my life better. Thank you!!!!!!!

Your point about mastering these four is exactly right. It's the thing I have been explaining to my daughter as she works on the violin. There is advancement and there is improvement and they are two very different things. Advancing is learning new chords, improving is practicing the ones you know until you can play them well. If you only advance you'll never be a good player.

I made it to day 4! But I had to take a break after day 3. I just had to practice over and over and over. The strumming pattern and chords ( changing ). I'm still dogshit but getting better. I have little calluses forming on my fingertips. This series is very good and helpful. Thank you, Andy!

Love that "Save Tonight" is one of your favorites. Takes me back to high school (I'm old). I've been enjoying this series, though at the rate I'm going I might finish the 10 days by Labor Day lol. What's nice is so many of the little songs I use for teaching school only use those first 4 chords plus G7, which wasn't hard to figure out.

I was afraid I wouldn't be able to catch up because I kinda skipped day 3, but thanks for this I was reminded to take things slow. 💯 2021 and this is one of the best tutorials I've watched so far.
