I like to place grenades in 2 sections: AT(High explosive) and Frag. The HE grenade wont do much damage to infantry if its used in open field,because it would sacrifice fragmentation to have bigger blast,making it more uselful against tanks. It would gain Anti infantry use if it was used in an village. The enviroment would create fragmentation (ex. Wood,metal). And yeah,the HE have a giant ass blast that can push infantry back,but it would require the Soldier to hit an obstacle(An pillar or a wall) to cause damage to the body.
Anti tank grenades relied on a shockwave to damage armor thus are less lethal from a distance than a fragmentation grenade that uses shrapnel. HOWEVER bf1 uses a grenade cluster that is a normal grenade with more heads taped on.
The best grenade is the gas grenade imo. So many advantages packed into 1 grenade. - It's basically a mini smoke grenade and blocks the opponents view. - It does damage. - You can lock the opponent out of ADS. - You can throw them into a lot of buildings to basically determine if an enemy is there or not or even force the enemy out. I would rank improvised grenade as #2 for vehicle damaging properties and frag as #3.
I was also using the gas grenade to obstruct vision and damage anyone trying to pass, but I realized that the incendiary grenade basically does the same thing (as it's hard to see through the fire and smoke from burning), but there's no way prevent the damage as with the gas grenade and mask (Being a grenade that in addition to obstructing vision, it will be much more effective in hindering the opponent's passage, since when passing through it will always take damage, in addition to the fact that to cut the effect of the grenade it is necessary to go prone, which puts it at a much greater disadvantage compared to the gas mask)
The best thing is that it damages elite classes like sentry and sentry smg, but idk about trench raider and infilitrator, and flametropper is resistant to it
I usually go with gas for the assault, incindiary for support and normal frag grenade for other classes. As you said, incindiary are great for blocking passways or force the enemy to move out of cover, and this fits really well IMO with bypoded LMG tactics. Gas is great to storm objectives, and really lower the threat from snipers. Plus, on darker maps, they arent bad at providing cover. Coupled with hipfire-oriented weapons (shotguns, automatico, mp18...), they are my go-to for the assault class.

You cant rank server cuz every people has diffrent location so, if you lives on asia the asian server are pretty good. But if u live on europe damn asian server rlly bad imo
The Russian M1912 "Lantern Head" grenade actually has a larger blast radius than the Mills Bomb (Frag Grenade) and M24 Stielhandgranate (Stick Grenade). It's 7.0 meters versus 6.3 meters of the other two. I'm unaware of any other differences that'd balance the Russian grenade out with the others.
some other things you could do are worst to best weapon skin "sets" because i think the weapon skins had themes across different weapons, you could do worst to best character appearances, worst to best faction, and of course, worst to best doors
i think the improvised grenade still does full damage all the time but only a random fuse timer, so I would put it number one because the enemy can't predict when it is going to explode like with a normal frag. it is close with the frag though

gas rocks, its great for dealing with snipers and pushing with any shotguns or smgs, and pre equipping the mask and then throwing one into a room and pushing gives you a few seconds where the enemy is putting their mask on and you can get the jump on them
Back in the day I use to play as support with smoke with the strategy of endlessly throwing smokes in a line to push up across the open battlefield. It was epic
The smoke grenade can actually kill someone, you just have to hit the enemy when they're low enough. I dealt damage multiple times with smoke grenades in BF5

I've gone to pretty much always using the light anti tank grenade. i use them a lot to finish off damaged tanks and i especially use them when i bait planes to fly low enough to smack them from the air with it. I dont personally care about anti infantry damage grenades i'd rather be able to help take vehicles out.

Your top is flawed in my opinion: See, they introduced with the russian Dlc the "flak" perk, which is default perk that reduce the damage from grenades by 10% I think, meaning that a grenade does not os when equipped... which is the case on nearly 90% of the player base giving it's default nature. What I'm trying to say is that the frag isn't that great anymore...

i used to play argonne and just spam gas grenades with a gas mask and a shot gun as assault class and i constantly won fire fights, it was so much fun back then

Gas also prevents an enemy from healing on their own. I do believe a medic pack's healing is slowed down too.

Why is the gas grenade good When I used to play BF1 I wore the gas mask most of my time, so most of my weapons where shotguns
