not true bro, i just had my fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel injector replaced today in front of me...at max it may hav 200ml combined... side info: costed me 6K for the spares at MRP. got it done locally at jst 400/- service charge...its worth evry penny to not go the service centers provided u have a experienced rs200/dominar mechanic locally who is officially trained by bajaj :P
Better to keep the bike.. maximum to maximum the engine block and piston kit along with the valves would need replacement to bring it to full health and that too only if it starts giving smoke or the crankshaft makes noise or if the valve seals break. All of the above parts when replaced would still cost below 10000 rupees which is nothing for a 1lac plus km run engine. Don't worry and keep riding. Just replace the wear and tear parts periodically. I assume the bike can run 1,50,000 Kms plus without any engine overhaul.
Bro BS 4 bikes are giving 40-45km mileage easily, even my friends RE 350 and NS 200 are giving same mileage in eco speed i.e 40-60 kmph. Hope new BS 6 will give mileage between 40-50km mileage.
