Hi! I don't know if you can't see it, but your gantt chart is showing wrong duration in a visual. For example, project "Market Resarch" should end September 8 because of start date 16/08/2020 and Planned duration 22 days. Instead of that the viusal shows that it should end about 21 August. Have you solve that problem already? :)

You are so right!, it was working before but the charticulator team just added date recogniztion and it must be messed up! i will report it and make a follow up video once resolved!

@@CurbalDataLabs Do you know if there has been any resolution to the duration-issue? I'm having issues with this exact problem on a gantt-chart at the moment. The start time is right, but the end time is off (we have start and end time as datetime, not only date).

@@CurbalDataLabs I was working with someone today who was wanting to build a Gantt and they had mentioned this particular issue. I suggested using a data axis, with the start and end dates added to that, rather than the x-axis on the plot segment. Setting the plot segment layout to overlap made the glyphs align as expected, so could be an alternative to using duration, if that field is available in your dataset?

@@CurbalDataLabs This functionality is just what I need. it's a shame. I wasted almost a day trying to figure out if it's a data format problem, but it seems to be from Charticulator. I hope they can fix it soon. It's a shame.😔

How were the legends created? Can you please show that in charticulator?

Hi, thanks so much for the video!
I´m trying to create a single bar Chantt Chart so basically it just shows the duration of the projects in time but, though all my dates are consecutive, the charticulator shows a lot of gaps in between the events and I have not been able to fix it. The gap attribute is already in 0%.
What can I do to make it work?
    Thanks in advance!

I love this so much! Thank you! I need to have nested tasks and the option for the actual to have a different start date than the planned. Any ideas about how to make these enhancements?

Hi Ruth! I love your channel! Did you ever get this working properly? I followed your github ticket on this but there didn't seem to be a good conclusion. I'm struggling with a similar type of chart and I can't get my durations to properly offset from start dates...

I tried the solutions on Github but never worked for me :(

@@CurbalDataLabs Dang. All I want to do is add a duration in days to a start date and nothing seems to work right…
I started looking into plotly but it doesn’t seem to have the same level of customizable glyphs

Have you tried the community visual for charticulator? Maybe that one can do it.

Nice! just what I needed. But I have one issue. When i lower the width and height of the visual is does not scale that well, and it looks like the projects take way longer. Is there a way to solve this, and maybe lock the endTime?

It looks like it is a limitation, it sure how or if they can fix it.
Try using weeks or days so it can count correctly
