My sense is that Marilyn would have loved this song. She was a kind, soft, and very sensitive lady. This song is a masterpiece.

"She was a kind, soft, and very sensitive lady"
      - Though evidently had such sound morals that she had an affair with the US President? Oh but hang on, that never happened. Yeah, right !!
      - And so sensitive that she posed nude.
      - These and numerous other things are not stacked in her favour.

it's true for me as well. my mom's father died of natural causes when I was 4 years old back in June, 2002 according to mom. Now, I shed a tear thinking about that. I would've loved to getting to know him, but he's long gone now. I lost him at a young age and he wasn't even fifty yet now that I think about it.

RIP Elijah Cumming. You were the candle in our darkest hours. I personally have been deeply affected by the corruption of our government and you restored my faith, made me believe that I still have a chance to change this world. You said "Our children are the living messages we send to a future we will never see", this will be my truth and belief that I will hold close to my heart until the day that I take my last breath. You impacted me in ways that I will never be able to fully express or explain. You set the standards in politics and into our society in a way that should shake All of us to the very core of our Nation and people. You will be GREATLY missed.

This song hits different today. My mom idolized Marilyn Monroe her whole life. She looked uncannily like her too. The same hair, eyes, smile. She was compared to her a lot. My mom endured an incredibly hard life filled with abuse, tragedy, addiction, and loss... three years ago she got cancer and passed away in my arms when I was only 20. This song always made her emotional, and hearing it now, the lyrics remind me of her so much too. It hurts twice as much now...

I’m so sorry that this happened to you, sometimes moms love their children very much and deeply but circumstances arise and they do what they think is best for their children.
Pray and ask God to remove any negative feelings if there are any and forgive her if you haven’t. Open up your heart if u haven’t and ask Jesus to come in. Ask him to forgive your sins and iniquities. I understand your hurt, my grandmother basically raised me, so I know the feeling. Jesus can come in and be that mother, father, sister, brother, friend and anyone else who you need him to be in your life.
I would never tell you this if I hadn’t experienced him for myself. He is our precious savior who sacrificed his life for us. Pray and read your Bible everyday. If you don’t understand it (the King James Version)
Try reading the NIV New International Version. Don’t ever let anyone keep you from experiencing the freedom of having the love of Our lord in your life. He who stand strong will inherit eternal life.
Jesus wants me to tell you that he loves you. Idk you or why God had me write this to you but, he’s let me know that you’re struggling.
Repent the day of the Lord is at hand.
      I love you❤

In the ealy 70s, I had a transistor radio. I would surf between stations like BBC, VOA, Radio Australia, Radio Kuwait and many others looking for their music programs. Elton john was such a staple around the world, no program was complete without one of his songs. He became my second favorite after Elvis and I guess he still is.

🥀Amazing Song! I love the way he thought about this before he released it all time consuming about her and the hell they put her through years of tearing her apart inside and out. Media can be so cruel they can't let her rest in peace! Thank you Sir Elton John for remembering her for a Beautiful Woman with a heart. God Bless you🥀☝️🥀🎹☝️

My uncle lost his battle to cancer this morning and my mom was very heartbroken. As I was getting dropped off at school I told my mom "Stay strong" and right as I leave this song played. My mom was in tears and her coworker said it was a sign he is in heaven and safe and sound with his daughter. I understand why after I listened to the song my mom was crying when she listened to this.
