    The old songs of sāmoana had a chant like tune with a repetitive style very similar to the tongan way of singing.
    I also noticed that in a taualuga the ending of the song would be sped up which excited those who were dancing and support dancing. Taualugas are not done that way these days

      Yup, very different today. Very seldom you see this kind of dancing nowadays as well as chants being chanted from the past.
