Basically skill is there , but the problem is we use shirt cuts , like there's no point of leather sole unless there's no stiching with mod sole , mid sole in the shoe is non existent, heels should be stacked leather not filler material , skill is there but lack of quality materials makes our hand made shoes below par
It's easy to be critical, just remember these guys are working off the street with the bare minimum, so their price is probably going to be much lower than the type of shoes which qualify as fully hand stitched custom. We should admit they do a great job for what's available to them.

Real skills lost to china's cheap products and its all our faults. Now, we can't even get our shoes repaired. Just wear it out and throw away only to buy another trash with a label. I wish i could make my own shoes. Respect to this skilled worker. ❤

4:00 he just wasting the suede material by using that knife. If they used a separator machine they could get top grain leather and suede both. Now that wasted suede will be genuine leather which is cheapest leather form in the market

Now stitching of sole has been removed. Now shoe making is easy than before. Now shoes are not durable. All depend on solution which is not satisfactory.

The heel is not sewed to the shoe?? It will disconnect within a few months of walking on them especially if they get wet. That’s unacceptable to simply glue on. There’s no shank for stability, just a strip of leather. There’s no mid-sole. There’s no proper heel counter on the inside. If the uppers are truly leather that’s good but highly unstable assembly. The trouble is people are not aware of how a good shoe is made and so because you shoe looks nice to the eye they will pay good money for them. The heel is thin and you left a bunch of nails very close to the heel inside that will very soon poke through into the skin of the person causing them discomfort, bleeding and possibly an infection from the dirty metal. Overall very poorly constructed!! You have fooled mostly everyone!!
