Thank you. I'm using it to vacuum crevasses in ancient bedrock in washes so I can pan for gold. I need something that isn't so big and I have the Craftsman power tool collection so I have plenty of batteries and battery chargers.
Gotta love Craftsman! the build looks amazing. The motor is sort of underpowered but it functions nevertheless! Have one for my car and small DIY projects with 4amp batt
@LowInfoGuy - Thanks but I straighened you out. FWIW the attachments are a standard dia. I'm using the super soft round brush for my car gauge screen/ cluster and buttons. $165k for a new Escalade made this tool mandatory. Also running (2) oscillaing tools and fans at my business for plastic work. 8 batteries 2ah - 9ah. I do avise to use the smaller 2ah on the hand tools. After a long day your arm thanks you.A carpenter can get by drilling screws all day with smaller batteries.
I have a crap ton dewalt batteries and tools...can't get the dewalt version of this right now, and these are almost sold out everywhere too, supply issues. Bought one of these today and have a dewalt battery to craftsman tool adapter. Fingers crossed.
@@toolinhand I spent a hour or so cleaning out mine by hand where the meter was nearly covered in clay mud. I ended up blowing it out to loosen up the amount in bottom with a focusing point water sprayer. I got most of it and pump it out with a cheap siphon pump from home depot (PITA)... wiped out the rest with half a roll of paper towels... still a lot in their on the edges. I thought later "I wonder if my craftsmen vac can vacuum up this muddy water?"... going to try that later today. Did it work good?

Bro you sped up the one part of the video That actually showed how well it vacuumed

Thanks for watching!

Same..with the 4ah it gets about 30 or 40 min it feels like. It does what I need it to
4amps? Mine are 4ah.

I have one of these myself with a 9 amp hour battery and it is a handy mofo. Need an updated brushless vac now.
I just got it last week. I might buy a generic 6ah battery off amazon. Max power.
Craftsman has a 9 amp hour battery 👀
Nice feature that the hose locks in
Although not most powerful battery vac-it does well for small clean ups and the convenience factor is great.
It's great for cleaning out a car
Great review. I wanted to see the power and its just what i need im buying it. Probably do one doing different things and sizes or dirtiness
Filters are a PITA to find. Lowes doesn’t carry them or even know what to purchase.
I want one mainly to clean up my work van, I dropped chicken bones in it and now my manager makes me clean it weekly lol
Nice beefy filter that bigger then all the Milwaukee filters
Why do you need another shop vac? Why do you need so many purses.... ? so many pairs of shoes...? Hehe, can you tell I'm not married? 😂
Nice held 2 gallons water sweet 👌
It better have! I'd be angry if it didn't. Haha
@@toolinhand some actually have a different dry capacity compared to wet capacity good thing it helps 2 gallons
Not all vacuums have the dry and wet capacity ratings the same
Wife: Why can’t you just use a regular vac?
Me: Because a regular vac just doesn’t get the job done 🤫
My corded craftsman vac is the 3 gal
It dosen't have a wet application pre filter
Porter cable batteries work on the craftsman stuff with a small mod to them batteries
I'll have to look that up! Thanks.
@@toolinhand your very welcome bro

@@wadebrewer7212 okay
Sounds like my wife you got 15 vacs why you need another because I'm getting old and when you get old vacuums are more useful 😏
can i plug it into my small hand sander for dust collection when working indoors (drywall etc)?
I don't see why not
how many beers can you fit in the container?
Don't know. They're never around long enough for me to find out!
Is this for home or room or just for car?
I've used it at my house for many things. It can be used when you don't want to deal with a power cord. The only downside is it's only 2 gallons.
Will this work with black and decker 20v 1.5ah lithium battery?
Not without an adapter
Atleast I thought my box said 3 gallon
He said it's a 2 gallon capacity but I'm 99 percent sure it's a 3 gallon vacuum
How long does the 4Ah battery last?
I used it for about a half an hour, taking dirt out of my underground water meter. I think it dropped down one bar.
@@toolinhand this is precisely what I'm going to do with it tomorrow. Did you film you using it there?
@@kmain0 no I didn't film it. I should have.

@@kmain0 I don't see why not it can handle muddy water. Just remove the filter first.
Mine stopped working after 1 year
That sucks! I suggest calling Craftsman
Nope lmao it's a 2 gal
