When i read your list and was getting towards the end i was becoming more and more worried that FMAB wouldnt be there. Then the relief when i saw the last one.
I wanna give honorable mentions to Shiro vs Gilgamesh from Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Bladeworks and Altair vs Everyone from Re:Creators Shiro vs Gilgamesh speaks for itself with UFOtable at the helm and Re:Creators had its ups and downs but that last fight is both epic and and a huge emotional rollercoaster in a good way
Seeing Father shrug off the main characters best attacks in Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood just shows how much of a powerhouse he was. To this day that fight still gives me chills
Same here. When everyone is cheering on Ed, ending with Mustang's "FULLMETAL"..... I get goosebumps EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. even just replaying the scene in my head, chills. Just chills
As old school Dragon Ball fans, we will never forget the intense battle between Goku and Boo (the original version that looked like a preadolescent but also extremely dangerous) in 1995.
I argue the JoJo entry should have gone to everybody vs Pucci. Jotaro vs. Dio is, at its core, a typical shonen slugfest. The finale of Stone Ocean takes the cake in terms of crazy enemy abilities, plus it's the culmination of all the previous parts. The protagonists faced insurmountable odds, and finally purged Dio's influence from the universe forever with the most unlikely of comebacks. It truly wraps up JJBA in the best, most bittersweet way possible.
I think, from all final battles shown here, the one that made cry the most is when Pikachu fought Charizard. Like, when I thought the battle was over with Pikachu collapsed, then the most touching moment (for me) occured and that was when all of Ash's pokemon came to support Pikachu. IDK why but when I am writing this comment, my eyes becomes so teary remembering that scene alone.
Man I loved Everyone VS Father but nothing will ever top the hype of Team Dai Gurren against the Anti-Spiral for me. The entire fight from beginning to end was legendary but I'm satisfied with the no. 2 placement.
Neko Kuroha versus her older sister, Mako Fujisaki in the final episode of Brynhildr in the Darkness(2014) may have been short but it did leave an impact on some people who witness the final battle between the two powerful sisters especially Ryouta Murakami.
The final battle in Inuyasha is pretty awesome. Seeing Inuyasha & Kagome finally take down Naraku for all the pain & suffering he caused is an absolute treat for me.
Vash the Stampede vs his Evil, Heartless, Merciless and Malicious Twin Brother, Millions Knives (from 1998's Trigun) will ALWAYS be One of My Most Favorite Epic Badass Anime Final Battles of All Time!
Glad Jotaro vs. DIO is on here, but I think the catharsis of the Town of Morioh vs. Kira could have taken it too. Same with Everyone vs. Pucci for the cinematic finality of it all.
Mob Psycho 100 truly captured that a teenager’s most dangerous opponent…is themselves. Also, we don’t talk about how Natsu beat Acnologia by using all the magic to beat the guy whose power it is to eat all the magic. 7 Dragon Slayers couldn’t slay a single dragon.
I’m confused as to why that fight is here. Is there no more Mob after this? Everything else they put on here was the definitive end of a series. Obviously we saw DBS continue the story and Boruto as well, but Boruto isn’t Naruto’s story it’s his son’s. And DBS came out like 20 years after DBZ finished. So I will ask again, is Mob done forever 😭😭😭
Great list, but Atem vs Yugi was far from fair, and that also made the fight awesome. Atem starts bending fate after Yugi destroys his Egyptian gods by drawing whatever card he wanted... But he still lost. It was to show Atem wasn't holding back at all, solidifying Yugi as the True King of Games with his victory.
That fight will always be iconic. And this is a fact. The STTGL Giga Drill Break and the Anti Spiral Giga Drill Break are the two single largest attacks in anime history. They're so stupidly massive that their sizes can't even be properly calculated. All we know is that compared to the attacks themselves, the users look like tiny specs. And the two mechs are so massive universes look like softballs to them by comparison.
I favor Kaneki vs Furuta, due to how the fight balances between grounded and over the top. Also, seeing Kaneki as a Badass Half Ghoul has always been enjoyable.
I would love to know what song is playing in the background whenever Ashley is talking. The one playing when he talks about Gundam and a few others, it repeats a few times.
The final fight in DBZ between Goku and Kid Buu - with occasional support from Vegeta and Good Buu, and sort of Hercule - was and remains epic. I'd argue it was more visually interesting and dynamic that the prior main villain battles, too. (My one complaint about the clips used here was that it had the Japanese score, rather than the American score)
Spike vs Viscous was the ultimate end for the series, especially with Spike's apparent death. The best part of Naruto vs Sasuke was their friendship being solidified by their final brawl, from then on they are unbreakable friends and the Leaf can count on them.
Mob vs Reigen hit hard in a great way. It's a shame it was unfairly rated so low. Dai vs Vearn (remake) was excellent. A whole lot of filler, but damn if that final slash wasn't satisfying. Spike vs Vicious ot being #1 is a mistake. That "Bang" is far too iconic. Ed vs Father was pretty cool, but it doesn't even hold a candle to over half of the other shows. Not by a mile.
I'm really surprised Digimon didn't make an appearance at all, I would have thought the final digivolution in Last Evolution Kizuna would have at least got an honourable mention!

Tokyo ghoul will always be my favorite anime
In 1995, the battle between Son Goku and the original Majin Boo (simply known as Kid Buu) is both intense and amazing at the same time.
Buu was supposed to win low key. Lol. If the spirit bomb worked on him then it should've worked on Frieza 😊
@@bagtalk9739The spirit bomb that Goku used on Kid Buu contained a far greater amount of energy than the one that Goku used against Frieza.
Watching vegeta struggle to get out of the way of that blast and goku not wanting to throw it because vegeta just got his life back was intense
I wanna give honorable mentions to Shiro vs Gilgamesh from Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Bladeworks and Altair vs Everyone from Re:Creators

It was one of the reasons that Brotherhood was superior to the original anime series.
Alas, to be able to watch it again.
The 17-year-old Jotaro Kujo vs. Dio Brando with Jonathan Joestar’s physical body is also one of my top 5 favorite JoJo fight scenes of all time.

Castlevania, Dracula vs Alucard, Belmont and Mage, was one of the dopest final battles to me! The lead up was awesome as well!
I also love the final battle between Optimus Prime (Convoy) and Galvatron in Transformers: Armada and Cybertron
Man I loved Everyone VS Father but nothing will ever top the hype of Team Dai Gurren against the Anti-Spiral for me. The entire fight from beginning to end was legendary but I'm satisfied with the no. 2 placement.

- Spike vs Vicious
- Naruto vs Sasuke
- Yugi vs Pharoah/Atem
- Mob vs Reigen
