Savvy Dirt Farmer, May Yahweh bless you in your endeavors. You inspired me to start my own nursery. I have about 12-15 Wandering Dude, 25 Blackberry Primocane cuttings, 10-15 Catgrass, and a couple different Hostas. I have also collected seed from wild grown Red Columbine. I was given a sign when I first got on my property that said Perennials, Flowers, and Seeds. I have the first one started. I am just getting started with seeds. Flowers may be my last project. Thank you for your God given talents and sharing them with us.

Good morning, great real look at the nursery. You have not been at this location long but the number of plants has really grown. Great inspiration.

Look at that a full day in 20 minutes. If only it was that easy. Lol. Great video once again. Keep enjoying your nursery. Thanks for sharing.

Thoughts for why the green giants up by the house look better….. lighting? Water? Are you watering them more often being close to the house or are they maybe at the bottom of a slope or in a small swale? Could be that you mow all around them and so you’re constantly feeding the soil with the grass clippings. I know no one cares, just a geek’s two cents. lol.

Lighting is same; water is same; terrain essentially the same; mowing is same. All I can think is soil is different. Most of the soil here is terrible. It's spotty, at best.

Is it common to pot plugs up directly in big pots like I always see you do and skip the in-between sizes? Or would that only be a waste of time?

In most cases, a trade 1 is not a "big pot." The small plugs get kinda lost in there,, but the perennials grow really fast.
